Q:I am interested in using Siri while I ski. I have a giro helmet with Skullcandy headphone inserts that I use for music and phone calls. I typically use the stock giro cable with volume control and a mute button. (It is male/male 3.5mm). I would like to get something similar to the apple headphones but just going to another male jack instead of earbuds, so I can control volume, and use the button for Siri, so I can call and text without having to get the phone out of my jacket. Q:hi guys ! the motor blew up in my blazer so my daughter's boyfriend put another one in and by accident he broke the end on the cruise control cable at the throttle body ! what I like to know is , can I use a zip tie on the end until I get a chance to change the cable ? also can you change the end or do you have to change the whole cable ? another thing is how do you change the cable on a 4.3 ? thanks guys !: You can use a zip tie, as long as it holds it on there. No you cant just replace the end. Only way to fix it is replacing the whole cable.

What does that even mean?Thanks!: HDMI cables definitely improve the quality of sound and video. The rule of thumb is if you are going to need cables of 6 feet or less, go with inexpensive ones. The longer the distance, the more you should move up the quality (and price) scale. As for downstream content, normal patch cords go from the source to the component and only in that direction. HDMI cables allow for signal to travel to and from the component. If you are going blu-ray to an HD TV, it's worth the dollars.

Q:I have a ur5u-8780l -twm universal remote. I had it programmed to my tv but its an old box tv so it died. I have now a new toshiba tv and it wont allow my remote to program to the new tv. I did what the remote says to do to program it but it wont program to the dang tv!!!
