- Q: I've lost my Advent AW10 printer power cable whilst moving home and haven't used my printer in a while. I need a new power cable but was just wondering what cable would be compatible or where to get another one from for cheap. Thanks.
- Here is the support site you could order the part from adventprintersupport-en.custhelp.... You could get from a computer store if there is one near by...
- Q: What is a PVC Power Cable and what is its application?
- PVC Power cable : Polyvinyl coated power cable. this kind of cable can be used in domestic appliance, machines and outdoors, it's quite durable.
- Q: I bought this graphics card tonight, and went to install it on my new Dell PC and while the card itself is powered by a 6-pin, I don't have one on my power supply. Is there an adapter I can use? Or will I have to go buy a new power supply for a NEW computer..?
- Depends - what are your system specs? Impossible for people to help you when we don't even know what hardware you're running. Don't ruin your new graphics card by putting it ; 1. On a power supply without enough wattage to handle it, and 2. On a power supply that didn't come with cables for a graphics card. Chances are you should invest in a bigger power supply. I would recommend at least 550w for a GTX550Ti. I recommend Corsair and XFX power supplies, as well as Seasonic.
- Q: I have a Technics SL-D20 Turntable recently purchased from a garage sale that lacks a power cable. The turntable has a 2 prong adapter, but it is not one that has a square and semi-circular portion, but rather seems to accept an elliptical two pronged cable. It is listed on the back as Power Source AC120V 50 or 60hZ 6wThank you
- Man that could be tough. It sounds like a belt drive turntable, I'm sure of the name of the part, but it's basically there to move the belt; it isn't metal so it isolates the belt, thus reducing vibration and transmission of motor noise. That's what I think it is anyway. I'll bet if you go on some audiophile web sites, you can find a parts listing for that model, and get a name and part number. Technics were very popular, I've got a belt drive one myself that I haven't hooked up in 10 years.
- Q: How to choose the diameter of the power cable threading protection tube?
- PE cable that waterproof cable can be a short time to soak the water PE water pipe is used to transmit water to the water pipe than the requirements of the drainage pipe than the cable all PE high hardness
- Q: I like to play my PSP at home quite a bit. When I do I plug in the AC adapter so that the battery power doesn't get used up unnecessarily. I see that when I have it plugged into the wall that under the system information it says that the power is being used from an external source instead of the PSP's battery. I take it then that the battery won't overcharge and it's OK to use it this way, or do I have to remove the PSP's battery when using the power cable?
- It is fine. The PSP is just telling you that it is taking power from the outlet instead of the battery.
- Q: I don't have the power cable no more..its an 8 pin power cable and it has on the back120v24v12v5vits a round adaptor and it looks like an old computer keyboard but it has 8 pins.thanksromeo
- Sounds like you need a standard S-Video Cable, available just about anywhere. We can get them locally at the 99cent only store, walmart, target, ect
- Q: Cable 3 (4 × 185 + 1 × 95) What does it mean?
- With a straight pipe with a matching pipe (commonly known as the hoop), in order to prevent the joints at the slippery, PVC glue can be used after the smear. If the trouble, then use the electrical cloth cloth to the two tube package can also be strict.
- Q: Is it? I leave the power cable for hours when at home, when letting it process video and such and sometimes drain the battery when not used much. Thanks for any help.
- It isn't good to overcharge a Li-Ion batter, but some devices/batteries are better than others at preventing damage even when there is a continuous supply of power. I'm assuming it's a lithium-ion battery. If it isn't you need to throw your laptop away and buy a new one with a li-ion batter :) On a more serious note, it probably isn't GOOD for it, but it isn't TERRIBLE either. They say that li-ion batteries aren't susceptible to memory loss, but that is debated by people who actually use the device. However, li-ion batteries WILL expire after being charged a certain number of times, so it is best to allow it to (almost) fully discharge before recharging. When you notice that it's fully charged, go ahead and unplug it if possible, and when you need it to charge, just plug it back in. But I'm no battery expert, so your best option would be to call a computer store (or battery store) and ask them. Or perhaps there are some battery experts browsing Yahoo answers tonight?
- Q: I have a usb hub that is externally powered that stays on 24/7 even when i shut my computer off. It is buried behind by desk so removing the usb power supply manually each time is what im trying to avoid. Is there anyway i can put a switch in the power cable going to it?
- Before you attempt this, make sure you have the following items: -Wire strippers -Electrical tape -Two terminal switch -Scissors IMPORTANT! make sure that the cable is unplugged from the computer and the hub before you do this! 1st, cut the cord halfway with the scissors. Next, remove the outer wire insulation from the two new ends you just cut with the wire strippers. Now strip the small colored wires that are now exposed. Then connect the red wire from one half of the cord to a terminal on the switch. Do the same with the other red wire from the other half of the cord and connect it to the other terminal on the switch. Strip the other small wires and connect them back to their appropriate colored wire. Finally, wrap each wire individually with electrical tape, then wrap the entire gap in the cord with it. Now plug the cord in and try it out!
