Q: Hi, I have a vehicle where the coolant system was working just fine. I had the coolant system flushed etc. The tech did something that bent the heater valve control cable. Not a problem to fix. In looking at this I found the heater control valve to be leaking at the stem. Not problem, just replace the valve. Sure! ! ! It took 2 weeks to find the special valve. Here is the problem, there is water flow thought the heater core all the time. Yes, hot air all the time and a new valve was installed the way the tech. had the hoses connected. This is and H valve system.
