Q: Alright, im most likely moving to Germany in December, and im bringing my PS3 over with me. That I bought here in the US.. Is it possible for me to buy the power cable for a PS3 that works in Germany and plug it into my current PS3, or will it short it out?
Hmm i think of I had a similar difficulty as quickly as I did it... You hook up the two ingredient and hdmi cables so which you will discover the reveal then you certainly adjust the output settings to hdmi, after which you will do away with the ingredient cable and it rather is going to likely be advantageous. it may take upto 30seconds for it to alter to hdmi so wait and spot and look ahead to a picture.
Q: What is the difference between an ordinary power cable for a dedicated cable?
Another example is the flashlight and electric shaver although the voltage is very low, power and current is very small, is still strong
Q: Right now, the cables behind my audio receiver are tangled beyond recognition. I need to organize them...How should I bundle my speaker wire to minimize RF and EM interference? I've heard that a quot;8-shapedbundle is good.Is there any truth to this claim? If so, explain. Thanks in advance!
Keep power cables separate from Line Level cables(inputs, record outputs) and speaker cables away from Line Level cables. In other words keep the different types of cables away from each other. This also goes for FM antennas separate them all as well as possible. If you have HUM, you most likely have a cable that has a compromised (bad or going bad) Ground or loose connector. Bundling wires, even the same kind CAN induce hum, as it turnes it cable bundle into a coil (like a Guitar Pick-up). Try buying several extra good quality cables of each type, and switch them out one at a time, and you may find that one or more cable is compromised and is causing the trouble and throw it away! Make sure that the outlet the system is plugged into has a Good quality Surge Protector! not just an outlet strip< Make sure the circuit that is being used to power the system is not also carrying lights with dimmers, florescent lights, or any thing other than sound equipment. LIGHTS MOTORS CAUSE HUM! Also make sure that your not using several circuits to power several INTERCONNECTED items! ie: VCR, DVD, CD, PHONO on one circuit, and Receiver, TV, Cable Box on another (GROUND LOOP). Many times a moderately expensive Surge Protector will solve hum in a sound system(not a $10.00 one, but maybe $25.00 and up) I use a TRIPPLITE that cost more than $200.00, but it has been well worth it! ( I have a $50,000.00 studio sound system), as it not only filters noise that comes down the line, but it protects from surges spikes. (Duke Power calls them LINE VARIATIONS), but they will burn up delicate electronics in a heartbeat! If your wires are bundled, it will be hard to clean up the mess and noise! Even sharp bends in wires and cables will degrade the performance of even the best system, and make change outs (new DVD player) hatefull as well as put extra strain on the rest of the wires. and they wonder why they failed.
Q: Basically, I lost my power adapter to my monitor, and to be honest, I would like to try to avoid buying a new one entirely. I have an old HP laptop power cord that fits into my monitor, but the power specifications on it are different. The power rating on my monitor is 19V and 1.58A. I'm just assuming that's what it needs to run, and that you shouldn't go over that. My power supply from my old laptop converts standard AC into DC at 18.5V, which I'm assuming the difference in voltage between 19 and 18.5 won't really affect anything, but the amperage on my power supply is close to twice as high, at 3.5A output. That's where my concern is, if I where to plug this into my monitor would anything bad potentially come out of it? Don't comment saying quot;Oh, just buy a new one.quot;, I've stated I want to try and avoid that. Thanks in advance.
1. Make sure the volts are close enough. Within 10% is probably good enough. 2. Make sure the amps the supply is capable of, meets or exceeds the amps the monitor requires. The power supply won't push extra amps if they aren't called for. Use my advice at your own risk.
Q: What are the phone, power, and cable companies in Pomona, Ca?
Verizon for phone SCE (So cal edison) for power Charter? for cable I think. Get Direct TV it's better Gas is So cal gas.
Q: I've got a 1994 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS 1.8 and I can't find any place to put the amp cable through the firewall! Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks ;).
Just adding to the grommet guys answer above: Just as important as the grommet; a fuse. You must have a fuse as close to the positive battery terminal as possible. Why?, you say? If, for whatever reason your power wire shorts out to the frame somewhere between your battery and your amp, what's going to prevent that wire from turning into a giant heating coil running the length of your car, and torching it. I've seen it first hand many times. And, no, the fuse at the amplifier, the fuse in the distribution block (if you're using one) or any other fuse other than a fuse at the battery won't do a thing for you power wire unless it's before the potential short. Like at the batttery... In short, the grommet prevents the short at the firewall. The fuse protects it in case it does it anyway.
Q: Hi,I have problem with power cable on Karcher 670m pressure washer. I pulled all of the power cable out and now it's stuck and doesn't roll back inside. What can i do to fix it?Sven
Throw the piece of crap away. Just kidding, but it wouldn't make sense to take it to a repair shop when you could buy a new one for $100 bucks. Just roll the cord up when your finished using it.
Q: Hello,We are having a problem with our power cable and that being that most time whenever we insert the power cable into the back of the laptop the orange light at the front of the laptop does not always light up. We think the problem lays with the power cable, because it has been tugged and dropped before on many occasion. So, is it possible to buy a power cable for our Toshiba laptop, and we have retained the sticker. We think that the Toshiba part no is PA3396E-1ACA and the model no is PA-1650-02.So is it possible to buy a new power cable?

Q: I currently have a vibe amp wired in that my front speakers run off, im thinking about gettin an Edge sub with a built in amp so was wandering if id have to wire in a new power lead or if i could run them both of the one thats already running to the battery? Also how would i get rca cables running to each if i only have one output on my stereo? Thanks
yes i used the same power wire and just split all my wires for my second amp and everything is fine but i made a new ground for it. it will work fine but make sure you have a good battery or its gonna die, i made sure i got a life time warrenty so i can just take them back and get a brand new one whenever it dies.
Q: i hooked up all my 4 gauge power ground cable from the batteries of my truck i passed both of them thru the fire wall but what i was wondering is will i have a problem since its the power ground coming thru the same hole thru the fire wall or will i be all good ? somebodyy help
listen to what AERO D said... you should use self tapping screws,, estimate 50 cents each and drill those into the frame of ur trunk... the frame will have paint on it so be sure to take some sand paper and just clear the paint for best conectivity..
