FAQ
How can I get trained on CNBM products?
Yes, we provide training courses in our factory (products, general and specific pump technology, hydraulics, and practical applications). Please consult your sales manager or get in touch with our headquarters for more information.
Are your pumps cheaper than those of your competitors?
CNBM aims to give its customers the highest standards of quality and service and delivery times, all at a reasonable price.
Do you have self-priming pumps?
Yes, our product portfolio also includes two ranges of self-priming pumps: self-priming electric pumps and self-priming side channel pumps.
Is it really necessary to fit a bleed valve for the boxes?
It is always best to have a bleed valve as the gas produced by the fermenting sewage is potentially hazardous.
- Q:I installed a new water pump on a Cherokee straight-6 engine, the upper radiator hose is not heating up and the engine is starting to make a funny noise. The thermostat is new and was working fine before. The coolant reservoir is full and no more coolant will drain to radiator / engine. Anyone know why waterpump is not circulating coolant?
- Did you prefill the radiator before you started it? Did you put the thermostat in upside down? After it cools, remove the radiator cap and fill the radiator with the engine idling.
- Q:3 months ago I had to replace the water pump on my Jeep (for $600!!!). Now I have leaking again and they are telling me that I need a new radiator. I'm wondering how did they know I needed a water pump last time (it was leaking just like now) and not a new radiator like they're saying this time? I know nothing about anything, and I feel like I'm not informed enough to know what they're really doing. Is this common?
- Could be both. The water pump may have been leaking. Did the leak stop after the work was done? If so then it was leaking. The radiator may just have lived out it's life. Corrosion will eventually cause these types of things. I don't know where you're located but $600 for a water pump is a rip off. Maybe you went to the dealer? If it's not under a warranty and you're not buying a new one the jeep does not belong at the dealership. I recently did my water pump on my 94. $100 including new hoses and about 45 minutes. So even parts mark up and $60 labor should have been about $210 or so. For the radiator they are about $150 again depending on where you are. See if you can get a 3 core. More cooling capacity almost the same price. If you're around Maryland e-mail me and I can help you do it yourself.
- Q:Had a water pump start leaking, when I replaced it with a new one, it leaked even worse (around the gasket and O rings this time). The process I took...I unbolted everything and removed the water pumpI scrapped everything off with a wire brushI coated both sides of the gasket with red gasket siliconI mounted the new one and bolted it down tightening in a cross pattern(kinda difficult to get everything lined up)It leaked real bad the first time so I loosened the bolts and played with the top rubber seal to make it seat better. It leaked a little less the second time... but still WAY too much.I completely removed it the third time and (totally distroying the gasket) gooped it up with gasket sealer again, along with the O rings and tried again... leaked worse.Considering options... go with a white or black high heat siliconPossibly just using the sealer with NO gasketGooping the HECK out of it with JB-weld and pray!Suggestions?Know what I did wrong here?
- Two questions 1) Did you buy a new gasket? 2) Did you let the sealant set long enough? If you answered yes to both of these than the only thing left is to make sure you have the right type of sealant. Is it the waterproof stuff for waterpumps? You mentioned the stuff was red, it's been a couple of years since I changed a waterpump but I believe it was the BLUE stuff that I needed. But I could be wrong. Take it apart. Make sure it's clean (you can use a wire brush but I find a paint scraper works better) and apply the new gasket to the new water pump then but the whole thing back on the engine. Star pattern tightening the bolts. Test it without putting the clutch fan (I think this still has one) back on just to see if it's leaking. Hope that helps.
- Q:The water pump doesn't seem to be leaking but I do have a leak under the engine in a place I can't get to. The water doesn't seem to be getting to the upper hoses of the engine. I do hear a odd sound like lose rocker arms but its hard to tell where its coming from. This engine is to big for this boat there is no room to work on it except to pull the engine. What was Four Winns thinking??? A simple fix is a major repair. Thanks
- there is very much of hard paintings in getting that activity finished and the cooling gadget could desire to be flushed after that element additionally. i purely did a water pump on a 1999 ford contour and it grew to become right into somewhat worked given the area of that pump. as quickly as I have been given decrease back homestead, i grew to become into sore from my belt to my elbows for some days. a water pump could desire to final approximately one hundred,000 miles style of. i might have charged approximately that lots additionally. if that pump is inner to the block in the back of a conceal, the cost is going up on the subject of the hard paintings in touch.
- Q:1.5 kW three-phase pump with 600 meters line, should match what big line?
- Resistivity of copper conductors is 0.017 ohm mm / m, R= P L/S, the resistance can be obtained by 600 meters 2.5 mm - single stranded conductor is 4.08 ohms, and rated current 1.5KW three-phase pump is about 3A, so the pressure drop resistance of the wire leading to the U=4.08X3=12.24V. So if the supply voltage can be stabilized at 380V~400V, with 2.5 mm - cable; if the supply voltage is between 370~390V, with 4 mm - cable. (above is copper core, aluminum core shall be increased by 1)
- Q:I could get a 1994 Camaro, v6, no rust, automatic, excellent condition for $1200. THe ony thing is that it needs a water pump. Is it worth the buy? How much other damage could have been done with the water pump damaged? and how hard is it to replace the water pump?
- if its in good shape like you say have a mechanic look at it and if he gives you a good report on it buy it . you could also ask him what he would charge to put the water pump in as far as damage go's as long as the owner did not drive it with the bad water pump it should be ok. driving it like that can cause warped head's and blow the motor have it looked at before you buy it.
- Q:Pump suction and pressure side road why should vacuum table and pressure gauge, and what role they have?
- The vacuum meter is used to measure the vacuum degree of the water pump before the water pump pumping, and to a certain degree of vacuum, the water can be sucked into the upward pressure position of the pump.A pressure gauge is used to indicate that the pumping is pressure in the pipe. The size of the pressure is related to the lift head, pipe diameter, atmospheric pressure and so on.
- Q:How to remotely control submersible pumps?
- This is relatively easy to implement, to a remote control within the specified scope control, and use mobile phone SMS or ringing control, you make a phone call or Clockwork SMS can control the submersible pump switch, the switch is not used since a ran. This remote control switch products, in the Alibaba, my family has used, it is convenient, not expensive, more than 100.
- Q:How much solar energy would you need to generate and run a small water pump? Say one that is big enough to extract water from a bucket that is 1 ft wide x 2 ft deep? What size solar panel would you need to accomplish this?
- Assuming you are only interested in pumping the water out of the back (and onto the floor). The majority of the energy will be consumed trying to get the water to the tip of the bucket (where it will then fall to the floor), so it will initially require very little energy, but by the time it's trying to remove the last bit of water it will have to lift it 2' high(and water exerts 2.41psi per sq. so it need to exert 2.82 PSI+force exerted by the 2' of tubing/pipe). It would also depend on how quickly you want to get the water out of the bucket.
- Q:Hey all--I just paid $900 at the Volkswagen dealership to get my timing belt, water pump, rollers, and air pump replaced. Is that a good deal? Also, how does the timing belt replacement relate to performance? I noticed my car was a little faster than before (maybe it's because I was driving another car for 2 days).
- You made a wise decision to have your car timing belt/water pump changed at the dealership as they are major components. I believe the $900 was well spent and will serve you well for many more years of safe driving. Unless the old belt was loose or slipping, thus possibly causing the valves to open at wrong timings, I don't think you will notice any difference in the car performance after the replacement, especially if it was a preventive maintenance at the recommended mileage. But I do believe you will feel some difference in terms of the engine smoother acceleration and responsiveness. The $900 spent can really do wonders sometimes, at least in your mind.
