- Q: what are your feelings towards the press..like the media. do you think they are fair or are they bias-est? please be insightful..your opinion does count. feel free to share how you feel about the media and the pressp.sif possible share if you have had any experience with the media and how it affected you (positively or negatively)
- The press should be non-bias. The press presents all sides so you, the reader, can make a decision based on what you think is best.
- Q: I just bought an old drill press from a pawn shop, but there is no manufacturer info on it. All i can find is a model number, RY-6. My first instinct was Ryobi, but can't find anything about it from them, even though it does look very much like their press, just a lot older model. It's a little 10 press. If anyone can either confirm my guess, or point me in the right direction, I would greatly appreciate it.

- Q: What is the best for OILY skin: Loose Powder or Pressed Power? If Loose powder, what is the best Loose Powder for oily skin?If Pressed Powder, what is the best Pressed Powder for oily skin?PLEASE HELP!!!xooxox
- I have really oily skin and I use pressed powder. I would recommend Stay Matte by Rimmel, it's the best powder I've ever used. :D Hope I helped!
- Q: I've decided I want to start pressing my own flowers and I recently bought a really compact, and cute notebook to keep them in. I'm not always at home so I love the idea of bringing this notebook with me when I go to school or take walks. But, I'm wondering if I can use this notebook to do the actual pressing. I'd prefer to keep all the flowers in the notebook because that was the point of getting it. Does anyone have any advice for someone who wants to press flowers while on the go ? And is tissue paper a good substitute to newspaper/paper-towels ? I feel like tissue paper would look a lot more nicer.

- Q: i received a rose yesterday and im persistent to make it last for years with out it falling apart!!! when i was a kid i used to press cosmos which turned out wonderful... now i have a half opened rose which i want to press.. any helpful deas?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? i want all the petals showing, how can i make it still look so lovely as it does now???????
- It is nearly impossible to keep a rose looking fresh forever. To press it, you will have to take apart the rose because of the fleshy bits underneath. It will not look the same as fresh, not only in shape but also color. Check out the sources. Some other ideas are drying the rose by hanging it upside down or placing it in a box with silica gel, but then it will still not look fresh. Freeze-drying the rose can be done professionally and seems to produce the best results.
- Q: Ok so there are some crimes which the state pursues and others where if there is no complainant then they don't do anything. Like I understand that in domestic violence cases the victim has to press charges, so what about something like harrassment? Does the state pursue the charges without a victim or is this one of those scenarios where the state is actually pressing charges instead of a victim? I guess I just don't see how if somebody in this scenario who refuses to press charges, there'd be a victimless crime, and therefore no crime at all, right?
- Do you want to press charges is really the equivalent of asking, are you willing to be a cooperative witness? Obviously, to prove some types of crimes, the victim's cooperation is absolutely necessary. For instance, an element of a theft charge is that the property was taken from victim without victim's consent. So, the victim will need to cooperate and testify He did not have my permission in order to successfully prosecute. Some types of crimes really do not need victim testimony, such as murder -- it's reasonable for a jury to assume that the victim did not consent to being killed.
- Q: ok..so me and my bf or ex or whattever, have been together adn living together for 4 in a half years. the past 3 weeks we have been broken up with he has not evicted me at all. lately we were getting along and then last night i came over to get some stuff and he flipped ...he called the cops saying i tried running him over and the car i am driving is getting re po soon and i wouldn't return it. I took off..( I DID NOT TRY RUNNING HIM OVER) i called him 10 mins later and he kept asking me the same thing, why did u try and run me over and i kept saying wtf are u talking about. he first told me he called the cops,. then said he didnt...later that evening he told me he did and that the cop was there the whole time on speaker, but he todl the cops he didnt want to press charges. he has no proof nor any witnesses. did they have to fill out a police report if he isn't pressing charges or can the cops still come after me? any information would be great, thanks!
- the police would have written down all the information, wether or not he decided to press charges. if he isnt pressing charges, then the cops wont do anything but the police report will still exist. if he does, then he's gunna have a hard time coming up with evidence and witnesses to back up his claim. i think that depending on how you play it out in court, the judge should favor your side. if the car was in fact supposed to be repossessed and you left with the car, that could be motive for him to make up a lie in order to get back at you for taking the car.
- Q: For my Journalism Class we have been asked to find out the 5 requirements for free press as stated by the 1947 Hutchins Report but I can't find it anywhere. Please help.
- I don't believe there are any requirements anymore. fox news broke all of those laws by lying, making up stories, falsely accusing others of crimes winning the right to lie in the supreme court
- Q: when i work out i always start out by benching. recently, instead of taking a break between my bench press sets, i have been doing sets of 10 - 20 pushups, then taking a short rest, and then doing another set on the bench. i usually do about 3 - 4 sets of eachdoes anyone know if that is a good way to do it
- you need to rest for get some ATP back, so take a 20-30 sec rest in between bench pressing sets bench pressing = more strenuous than pushups, and they target the same muscles so you're actually doing less weight when you do the pushups. in other words, if you weigh 150, and you're bench pressing 200 x15, then u do a set of pushups, say 25...the pushups will act as a lesser weight...so do them later in your workout, by the time you're done you should barely be able to do 4 sets of pushups.
- Q: If the printing press had been around in the 1st century would the Catholic church as we know it even exist today?
- Well no, and neither would the protestant churches. Most churches that came out of the reformation subscribe to Nicean christianity, in creed and selection of scriptures. Arians, Donatians, Gnostics, but of course also Manicheans, Zoroastrians, Mithraists, etc... would have had a chance to find an audience anywhere in Europe instead of being marginalized locally. What-if history on such a scale is really tricky though.
