i just started doing leg press a few weeks ago...made some good progress....400 pounds worth of progress, which sounds rediculous and impossible but i got some good genes...and some good supplements... i begin with 6 plates or about 270 pounds end at around 750 775 not including the sled thats 6 sets i try to go up 2 plates each time then at the end i put like 2 25s on or something to add it to 750 or 775 leg curls i just started them last weak i used to focus more on my calves then anything...but i think its like 175 or so i max out at and moderate like 130

I don't know what 20lb weights will do to directly impact your press. One exercise I like to with a 20lb or 30lb weight mainly keeps my shoulders stretched but works the abs too. If you have a bed or an ottoman foot rest next to a chair, and can lay flat with knees bent, feet flat (but not planted), and head (but not neck) dangling off, take one of those weights in both hands. With your elbows at your sides you'll form a triangle with your hands over your chest. Extend your arms up all the way, then back down. Primarily works the shoulder, but also stretches triceps and the chest muscles too. It might not be a bench press per se, but it works a different aspect of that muscle. Look for objects around the house, too. Load up a pack with some books, maybe Just be careful though because of the uneven weight distribution (in other words, if it feels awkward, don't do it).

Q: I called the cops on my ex becuase we were involved in an argument and he hit me, I called the police in July 2009 and he was arrested and charged with assault/domestic violence at the time I did not press any charges, as of now the case is still open and he is on probation, can I still press charges if I want to?
Someone pressed charges as he is on probation. Usually the police do under the law since most states do not require someone to press charges other than the police. If charged once, charging him again is unconstitutional. Moreover, this is probably a misdemeanor assault and the Statute of Limitations is 1 year. Too late.
Q: Hi everyone,I am making a baby blanket. It is a crochet pattern. the very end of the pattern says finger press moons and stars to lay flat. Does anyone know what that means?
It just means press them down with your fingers (as opposed to pressing them with an iron). If it doesn't work when the crochet is dry, you might have to wet it first, and block it with your fingers. That means to lay it out and pin it to the pattern measurements, and press down all shapes to lie flat.
Q: Hi there! Okay, I'm doing a square cross stitch design, and at the moment its in an oval frame to keep it tight. But eventually when its finished I'm going to want to frame it, and when I remove the oval, there's going to be the oval crease in it. So how can I combat this? Do I just continue stitching inside the oval until I can't anymore, remove it, do the rest of the design and then iron it afterwards? In the instructions it has got how to press it, face down with the iron on medium, but I just thought I'd double check so I don't make a mess of it in the end. Thanks a lot in advance! :)
I've seen suggestions to use tissue paper between the wooden hoop and the aida cloth. Also do not leave the design inside the hoops when you're not stitching. This gives the cloth a chance to breath, the creases will be more shallow. I love the Q-snap pvc frames, easy to put together and they tend to not leave a crease like wooden hoops. When you iron the creases out, use a damp pressing cloth (but not over the stitching, the colors may bleed).
Q: When doing the bench press, where should I bring the bar?Is it in the middle of the chest like on the nipples 'line'?How do I build my 'upper' chest. I think it's called the pectoralis minor, just below the collar bone.
you want to lower the bar just below your nipple line so the bar touches your chest at the bottom of your pectoral muscles but above your rib cage for peak power. To innervate your upper chest you want to do any kind of press or chest fly on an incline bench. Its not your pectoralis minor because that is underneath the pectoralis major stretching from your collar bone to your ribs.
Q: I have never use the bench to do chest press and want to but I am scare to do so, any suggestions?
Yup, escalate slowly. First lie on the bench and make the motion without actually using the bar, this will give you a feel for what you need to do with your arms. Second, just use the bar, no weight When I started I felt like a bit of a loser because I was so weak I could only just press the bar, but everybody has to start somewhere, and over time I built up to a respectable level. Third, add weight til you are comfortable, and don't push the last rep! If you are uncertain, ask someone for help, or to spot you, people in the gym are usually friendly enough. You can also do the same exercise with a dumbell in each hand until you become familiar enough with the exercise to use the bar, you can drop these without crushing your neck! Good luck and have fun!
Q: I was watching Martha Stewart and she had a guest with an interesting method of pressing roses, in which she would cut out part of the rose to be rid of a lot of the excess bulk, and then press it.I was wondering if anyone could give me specific instructions for how to do this, as I saw it a long time ago, and these roses had sentimental value (so I don't want to mess them up...).
