- Highly reccommend military press over the Arnold press. The reason why is because the rotator cuff muscle and ligaments are easy to injure, and HARD to repair. You could very easily tear your injure your rotator cuff, which requires surgery and lots of rehab to fix. The ONLY time you should ever do RC exercises is under the supervision of a qualified personal trainer.

- i don't think so because to build muscle mass you need to do a weight that you can do only 4-5 reps of. I am 17, 9stone and bench press 100kg to build muscle and 70kg to build endurance. Try to chose a weight that you can only do a few reps in strict form. Do about 3-4 sets of these. To build chest muscle you can also try pec fly.
- Q: There are many commercially availiable earth block press machines for sale. I want to make - and maybe improve if I can, on a current design so that I can produce blueprints for free distribution. Are there any sites/plans out there to get me started on making a prototype. I am a draftsperson in California. My goal is to make a full set of plans for an easily made CEB press to post online for anyone - in any country - to download for free and make their own press. The web actually has no sets of plans you can download for free. Even portions of plans I have seen have no measurements to allow someone to fabricate one. My intention was to try to find a working set of plans, that had no patent and draw them properly (I have years of CAD drafting experiance) and get them online so that people could build the presses with basic workshop tools.
- You might try buying a press; disassembling it, measure the individual parts and then draft the components into a set of drawings. You can also go to the Patent Office in Washington, DC and review the files for previously patented presses and you can find ones that have expired. Or you could find a current press manufacturer and become a distributor. I've lived in a number of third world countries were block presses are used on a regular basis and they are an income producing trade. The press is considered a capital asset and giving them away would be frowned on.
- Q: I have been a Plate maker in offset printing for 5 years and ran a digital press for a year is this Flexo press hard to learn and understand? What does the assistant press man do on a Flexo graphic press? Any info would help. Thanks.
- Working on a Flexo is much like any other presses with the BIG difference that the material stretches and has to be compensate with a certain tolerance. Flexography uses fast-drying inks. I used to prepress for a labelling company and before outputting the films/plate, I needed to know how many teeth on the gear to compensate for the stretching. Otherwise, the finished product would be squished or over-stretched. By adjusting the gear ratio to the cylinder, the films are outputted giving the impressiion that they are stretched slightly. This is to allow the plastic on the press to fall back to normal once printed.
- Q: Does anyone know of a small press that accepts poetry manuscripts and fiction semi-based on a real life experience? What does everyone think of self-publishing? What does that cost the author (ball park figure)? Does Amazon and places like that get to sell your book? How would an author self-publishing get the book to be sold at a Barnes and Noble store? - Q: i know that there is a way to erase all memory on my computer with pressing a few buttons while the computer starts up, like the F4 button or something like that, does anybody know which buttons
- Never heard of a button that does that, go to your computer site, and get it's manual, it comes free in a pdf file. ~ Edit : Memory is usually described as the RAM, and there is no button to erase that on start up.. On start up , it is clean, as there is nothing on it, cause when you shut down, it is no longer active, When power is off of the RAM , is does not remember anything, It starts all over when the OS starts running your start up programs and processes. Edit : Read question before you thumb down an answer to a question that makes no sense.
