- Why don't you ask your Uncle? Yes, you can press with an EZ curl bar but you'll want to keep your grip wide, beyond the bends in the bar. You can also press with dumbells..and you can do flys with them as well. Only you can know how safe it is. I can't know how you're training, so I can help you with safety. Just be careful and see if you can get a bench. You're going to need one. Good luck and good health!! ?

- Q: Hi,Last year I got a garlic press from William Sonoma. I hate it! It is so hard to clean and just smushes the garlic. I want to know, what is a really good garlic press that will give me nice pieces of garlic and will clean very easily?Do you have a website? - the best garlic press in my opinion is a chef's knife. Lay it flat and give it a good whap with the heel of your hand, and the garlic is bruised so all the flavor is exposed. A quick rough chop and you're done. Only thing that will work better, again in my opinion, is a microplane grater or as I like to call it, a finger shortener.

- Different languages can get semantically confusing. A press up means many things to different people. For some, it is a variation of the bench press, for others its a push-up, and others again a form of shoulder press. To perform a bench press lie on a flat or slight incline bench. Using barbell or dumbbells, pull abs in tight and flatten lower back to the bench. Start with bar/weights directly over chest, elbows at 90 degree angles. Press arms straight without locking, then lower back to starting position. Repeat for 1 to 3 sets of 8-12 repetitions, with a 30-45 second rest between sets. Use enough weight/resistance that you can ONLY complete the desired number of repetitions. If you are new to lifting it might be a good idea to use a friend to spot you. This exercise works the primarily chest, then arms and shoulders.Hope this helps!! Anthony
