- Q:I have a 1995 Honda Accord...I had a friend change my brakes and rotors - But to find out he couldnt change the rotors, Cuz they are pressed on....I told another guy mechanic that says he is able to get them off - Is there a way he can, I dont want to be left witht he same problem then have to go take it to a shop and spend 3 times as much.
- There's no such thing as a pressed on brake rotor on any Honda. When you have the calipers and brackets off spray the threaded lugs and the right angle where the rotor meets the wheel bearing hub with Blaster Solvent. Let them sit for an hour.Wrap the back side of the rotors with a heavy dead blow hammer. The rotors will then pop off Before installing new rotors clean the hubs with a cylindrical wire brush in a 3/8 drive drill to remove the rust. Before mounting the new rotors smear on some anti-seize inside the the center hole of the rotor as well as the surface that lays against the bearing hub. The rotors will never stick on again.
- Q:When I do a chest workout.. bench press, incline bench press, pec fly, it feels like the outside of my shoulders are being worked and not my pecs.I do my presses with dumbells. What might I be doing wrong?Thanks
- It sounds like you might not be isolating your pecs. I'd suggest you actually lower your weight and focus on your pecs doing the work. Relax all other muscles. Even your grip, don't hold the bar but rather let it rest in your palm, then contract your pects and bring them in. When you've improved your form, add more weight.
- Q:I have some dry, full, rose buds which have an enormous sentimental value to me. I would like to press them somehow, without causing damage or losing petals. Is there any method I could use to make the bud moist and then be able to press it? Any ideas...Thanks!
- If you press a DRY flower, you will get flower powder. You should have done the pressing when the flowers were alive. All you can do at this point is preserve them and put them in a dry vase.

I am saying that without the press, the Enlightenment would not have happened. Though I can use only one credible internet source, I can cite other web pages as long as the content of my quote can be found in a book somewhere. A little help finding these sources? Once literacy takes a foothold, you see advances across the board. I would do a search using key phrases with The History of the English Language. Once you have some titles to work with, you should check out the Project Gutenberg website; it has older texts available on-line for free. Once there, you can obtain quotes and information to cite. - 1. Either they chose the wrong shade 2. Or They have the wrong skin type (too dry) 3. Or They are wearing too much. 4. Or they aren't blending it properly Pressed powder foundation can be used, but whether or not it looks good depends hugely on the four conditions I listed. To find a foundation that won't show up, it has to match your skin perfectly. The best textures for this are spray foundation and Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse (I use it and I love it). No matter what texture foundation you have, blending it in and using the proper amount is key. I see far too many people with orange cakey lines around their faces!
- Q:: I am looking for a french press coffee mug that is equipped to heat the water by plugging it into the 12V socket in a car. I want to be able to add water to the coffee in the mug. Plug it in. Plunge it. and have french pressed coffee. It seems like a simple principle... but I can't find any available. Does it not exist???!? - When I was a newspaper reporter, we reporters used to laugh a bit at our friends asking us to get them a press pass. That was because, we felt, if you had to have a press pass, it wasn't going to do you much good. Yes, we all had press ID. But it was a point of pride not to use it -- just waltz up to the place or person and say, I'm from xyz news. How about that...(and ask your question.) But your situation is a bit different, I see. Okay, here's what some people in your situation (actually needing a press pass) did. We had a county press association, and when I was president, II made name cards for all the members -- even some who were freelancers like you. I think your idea of making yourself a news media with a blog is a good one. Print yourself up a card with your blog name on it, and your id for contacts -- name, phone#, email addy. I bet it would work -- make it _real_ official looking!
