- Q:check out this home made bench pressI currently don't have a job, so I can't buy weights, and I don't live anywhere near a gym. I have been using a box filled with flour packs (5lb. each) as a bench press weight.Do you think this would give a person almost the same results as a bench press? be honest
- Just be VERY careful that the box doesn't break. You don't want five pound bags of flour hitting you in the wrong places.
- Q:So i just got a French press and are a little unsure of how to use it properly. The directions and other websites have said to only use coarsely ground coffee in the press ( the directions said it would clog the filter and other how-to sites said it would go through the filter). My question is then this: is pre ground coffee (ex. fresh market Christmas blend) from the store not a good idea to put in the French press? I do not have a coffee grinder and am not planning on buying one.

- Q:Does the quality of a French Press matter a lot? Would buying a 50$ press from Williams-Sonoma be much better than the 15$ one from Canadian Tire?
- Maybe in how long it lasts but not in how good the coffee is. Personally, I recommend buying glass (not plastic) but you can get a fairly cheap one that works fine.
- Q:So I am a biginner at makeup and I was wondering how do you use pressed powder? Like how do you know when you've put enough on and how do you put it on? This is probably a dumb question so sorry if it is. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks
- Get a big, oversized blush brush. This way it makes it really hard to put on to much. The brush should be the size of a coke can or a bit smaller. Brush lightly over face. If you cant tell where you have it on or if you need more then its a waste of money and you don't need it yet.
- Q:I heard that if you bench press alot without deadlifting your bench press will stop improving eventually. Is this true? I already do squats, is that good enough? I don't really like deadlifts.
- I am glad to hear you are squatting because there are too many guys out there that just flat bench and that is the extent of their workout, I am not sure why that is, but it happens. Doing dead lifts not only conditions your back but it conditions your entire body including your core which you need to nail your bench. If you are not sure how to deadlift ask one of the guys that powerlifts or one of the trainers. at your gym. Deadlifts are compund moves and it takes a while to do it right good luck

- stop benching all together for a month. focus on building your back and shoulder strength. then come back to the bench and hit it only 1-2 times a week. that worked great for me when I was in high school and I plateaud
