Q: So a few days ago, I had an adult sleepover with a girl I met just a few hours before at a party. We hit it off real well and then we go back to my place. One thing you should know about me is that my left eye is stitched up, because of an accident I had when I was young. Anyways...we're getting touchy feely on the bed and then she pulls on my ding dong and goes Santuary! Sanctuary!! And I was like what are you doing? And she was like, You're quasimodo from the hunchback of notre dame!!!! i was like wtf. But we fooled around some more and she left the next morning. I felt weird about that for the rest of the week. Now am I being too sensitive? Can I press charges against her for this kind of discrimination?
Yes. It's called the ding dong legislation and it was written in 1998. It is illegal for a girl to make a joke about your ding dong.
Q: The press played an important role in the downfall of the Nixon Administration. It is suggested that the press is the 4th branch of the goverment.
I really can not think of one. I really don't think much of the press.
Q: i want to press the flowers that my boyfriend gave me, can i still do that when they are dried?
What i always do is cut off most of the stems, get a dictionary and put them in the middle and pile books on top of that dictionary. In 4 days or so, they are perfectly pressed! (:
Q: i need a way to increase my bench press as much as i can as fast as i can without actually bench pressing, how can i do this?
It is a possibility to lose weight quickly but you should be realistic and comprehend that if you lose weight quickly then you will probably put it all back on again just as quickly. I lost 7 pounds recently when I had a wedding to go to, and I did it by following the tips given on the web resource in the box below.
Q: How do I know what direction to press my seams?
When piecing, the first rule is to press toward the darkest block/strip so the seams do not show through on the lightest block/strip. You can also alternate the directions by row so the seams nest, or you can press the seams open, which gives the flattest finish and is the easiest to quilt through.
Q: My friend showed the class a picture from my teachers public Facebook account, I saved the picture and posted it on Instagram. I did not caption anything mean or spread lies I captioned mood : crippling depression. The teacher called my house saying she press charges on me because this girl showed her I posted it. The next day was perfectly normal, nobody did anything to me at school even tho we have a police officer. My parents wrote her a note asking for forgiveness and I said sorry and apologized to her but he said you can say sorry all you want I already pressed charges I m done with that. I deleted the post before she called me anyways and I deleted it from my phone. Was she just trying to scare me or did she really press charges?
There is no private criminal prosecution in the U.S., The decision to seek a criminal conviction is made by the DA, not by your teacher.
Q: I am really into photography and want to go to some concerts and take pictures. I have a dslr and everything. I am going to a one direction concert in the summer and really would like to bring my camera. I was planning to get some experience with photographing concerts then get a job taking pictures for a local radio station of something so I could get a press pass. I am 15 would they allow me to have one? Thanks!
At age 15, no. They do know that you're too young to be employed by a newspaper or magazine. Press passes are given to those who are doing paid gigs with articles for publication. Local radio is not going to use much for visuals, tv or newspapers or even locally published magazines would but radio, by definition, is sound based. Their own staff take the images they need for their station's website. I'd say try asking about internships (they're generally unpaid volunteer work) but you're too young to employ even with a work permit. You have to be 16 in most states to have one of those.
Q: I want to matte my face but don't want a heavy makeup look at all, and also don't want a product that will clog pores. Does anyone have any recommendations for powder that will make my face matte all day but not look noticeable? Also, which is better, loose or pressed?
I find that it doesn't really matter which type of powder you use but the brand definitely counts. I use bare minerals loose foundation powder and physicians formula loose powder. A pressed powder that I sometimes use (and love) is cover girl!
Q: when i press my leg the mark of my finger stays and does not go away. What can this be? I am anemic and I want to know if the two are related. Thanks
This could be a sign that your body is retaining to much water....Edema is swelling caused by excess fluid trapped in your body's tissues. Although edema can affect any part of your body, it's most commonly noticed in your hands, arms, feet, ankles and legs. Symptoms Click to enlarge Swelling of the foot, ankle and leg can be severe enough to leave an indentation, or pit, when you press on the area. This swelling (edema) is the result of excessive fluid in your tissues — often caused by congestive heart failure or blockage in a leg vein. Edema in ankleSigns and symptoms of edema include: Swelling or puffiness of the tissue under your skin (subcutaneous tissue) Stretched or shiny skin Skin that retains a dimple after being pressed for several seconds Increased abdominal size When to see a doctor Make an appointment to see your doctor if you have any of the signs or symptoms of edema, such as swelling, stretched or shiny skin, or skin that retains a dimple after being pressed. Seek immediate medical attention if you experience any signs or symptoms of edema in your lungs (pulmonary edema), including: Shortness of breath Difficulty breathing Chest pain
Q: Did johannes gutenberg ONLY invent the printing press or did he invent something else
I can't find any information about anything else Johannes Gutenberg invented. In 1440, German inventor Johannes Gutenberg invented a printing press process that, with refinements and increased mechanization, remained the principal means of printing until the late 20th century. The inventor's method of printing from movable type, including the use of metal molds and alloys, a special press, and oil-based inks, allowed for the first time the mass production of printed books. The Gutenberg Bible - 1455 AD - The First Book Ever Printed is Gutenberg's Bible which is the Latin Vulgate. (Edit - It was in Latin not in English or German) 1535 AD: Myles Coverdale's Bible; The First Complete Bible printed in the English Language.
