Q:How many lift pumps should be used for 100 meters tall buildings?
At least 130m guarantee that the top floor customer has 3KG water pressure
Q:Was able to remove all bolts except the one in the rear of engine one of the bigger bolts the pulley from the serpentine belt blocks itdoes the pulley need to be removed and if yes then how
I would suggest removing the pulley but I dont know what kind of car it is.
Q:Fire pump room is required to set up water pump control room?
You can't set it up.If there is a control room host automatic alarm automatic fire alarm system of words (through the pump distribution box can also control) can control the fire pump, if there is no distribution box automatic alarm system you can through the pump room control.Fire pump for fire as the name implies, pump, fire pump is the introduction of foreign products, according to different classification, divided into different types to its sealed, no leaks, corrosion-resistant characteristics, widely used in environmental protection, water treatment, fire departments for pumping all kinds of liquid, no leakage, no pollution is to create civilization workshop civilization, the ideal pump factory and pump type fire control system are similar, only the head and the flow are different. The selection of fire pump should be based on the technological process, water supply and drainage requirements, from five aspects to consider. Fire pump performance and technical conditions meet the requirements of the Atlantic pump standard "fire pump performance and test method" standard.
Q:I am taking my car in for a timing bell replacement. My car is a honda accord 2001 6 cycl. The mileage is 80K still way under the manufacturer recommendation. I am thinking of replacing the oil pump and water pump. I am thinking that since the engine is already opened might as well get this done. I don't know if this is necessary. Are these items even closed to the timing belt area? Does anyone have any recommendation when this should be done ?
You should replace your water pump with the timing belt service. This is why: The belt from your timing belt turns your water pump if your water pump were to go bad and let's say seize up it could cause your timing belt also to fail. The other thing is that the labor to open everything back up would be a very high cost just to replace the water pump. It makes more sense financially to pay for the replacement of the water pump (30-60 dollars) than to go back in 20k miles into your new timing belt and have to take everything apart again to replace the water pump. The oil pump should not need replacing unless you have a vehicle with 300-400k miles and you are doing a rebuil engine. Use a quality synthetic oil and a quality oil filter and the oil pump should last for the life of the car.
Q:I have a Chevy Express Van 3500, i believe that the water pump is leaking, how long would it last before major breakage?
a rebuilt waterpump is cheap, but if you need to use the vehicle, use stop leak in the radiator before you drive
Q:What are the commonly used tools for repairing water pumps? Mainly for civilian 220V submersible pumps, self-priming pumps. How much is the spare parts ready for use?
The most basic tools: a multimeter only about 20 yuan, 6 - 19 wrench a set of about 20 yuan, 200MM, 600MM adjustable wrench for each one of about 40 yuan, a cross, a screw knife is about 6 yuan, about 100 yuan a Lamar, claw hammer, hammer, rubber hammer, flat shovel each one about 40 yuan, a vise, pliers, diagonal pliers pliers, 8 words for each one of about 30 yuan, tweezers, knives, pressing line plate each one of about 15 yuan, 60W electric iron to about 25 yuan, a box, a soldering flux of about 15 yuan, or lamp the incandescent lamp, the crowbar can use local materials, needle, slide board with bamboo made with wood or self winding plate with the line of 80 yuan purchase mode. Insulating paint, asbestos pipe and tie band. Commonly used spare parts: enameled wire, water resistant lines, insulating paper, lead wires, various types of seals, bearings, impellers, lithium based grease, etc..
Q:A water pump that consume 2kW of electric power when operating is claimedto take in water from a lake and pump it to a pool whose free surface is 30 m above the free surface of the lake at a rate of 50 L/s. Determine if this claim is reasonable. You have to show the minimum power required is 14.7 kWand i can't get it.
A liter of water mas a mass of 1Kg. How much work must be done to raise 50 Kg of water through a height of 30 m? You can say: Work done (W) = potential energy gained (mgh), Or you can say that Work done is the weight force (mg) * the distance moved against the force (h) Either way, W = m * g * h where m is the mass; g is the acceleration due to gravity {9.8 m/s?}; h is the height W = 50 * 9.8 * 30 = 14700 J If you need to do that amount of work in one second, that's a rate of working of 14700 J/s A joule/second is a watt. Minimum power required = 14700 W = 14.7 kW
Q:Domestic pump does not use water, or turn, I do not know why?
The motor should be kept working, may be the motor switch problem, idling motor pump long time will certainly be bad, ha ha, the solution is to find a water pump maintenance master to work safety first!
Q:I think my water pump has crapped out on my 1997 Jeep Cherokee. I have been leaking coolant for a few days now and there is a puddle under my Jeep after I turn it off and my reserve tank keeps emptying out on me. I replaced the lower radiator hose and still the same problem. It is not over heating so I am wondering if it IS a water pump problem? If it is, could I do the work myself?
Remove the timming belt.? no!! Its really an easy fix. You will have to remove you fan belts and the fan itself. Then walla! The next bolts to remove are the water pump bolts, once that is done, put in your NEW pump. Its really easy. I have fixed mine (in many diffrent cars) many times. A lot cheaper than going to a shop.
Q:Ok, so if i have an 80 watt solar panel and want to run a 12v dc fan and water pump ONLY when the sun is out or enough light to power them, will i need something like a voltage regulator? I would like to have the panels charge deep cycle 12 v batteries at the same time or when the fan and pump is not running. For instance, i have the panels out and my fan and pump on allowing them to run only on solar as well as charge the batteries. What diagram would i use? I would probably get a charge control for the batteries but more importantly what would i need to regulate the power from the panels? Inverter?
You may have to do some math. The 80 watt panel is only 80 watts at peak sun on a 75°F day at the equator. Chances are you will have something less than 80 watts to work with. But you can add up all the hours of partial sun to get an equivalant number of peak sun hours. An example would be a few hours in the morning and evening at partial power and a couple of hours at solar noon at nearly full power may give you 5 peak sun hours worth of light. 5 psh x 80 w/ps = 400 wh Your supply may have 400 watt hours worth of power per day. You state that the fan is 12v dc but what is the wattage? It could be a little 12v dc fan out of a computer or it could be a huge 12v dc fan out of an RV. What is the power requirements of the water pump? Is it a little 12v dc one for a foot tall decorative fountain or an industial 3 phase pump for a well? To charge the battery you need a voltage 120% higher than the battery voltage. 12v x120%=14.4 v To add up your loads convert them all the use to dc watt hours per day Here is an example to give you an idea of how to play with your numbers: Fan 12vdc x 1.5 A = 18 watts, use this for 5 hours your load would be 18w x 5hr = 90 watt hours Pump 120 vac x 2.5 amps = 300 watts (The AC will need to come from an inverter. The inverter has a certain amount of loss. How good it does the job of converting dc to ac is know as it's efficency. Lets use 90% to be safe) 300 watts / 0.90 = 333.4 watts, use this for 1/2 hour per day 333.4w x 0.5hr = 166.7 watt hours The 90 watt hours + the 167 watt hours = 257 watt hours per day. This would leave about 140 watt hours to put into the battery. Yes it would be best to use a charge controller to protect the battery from overcharging if the pump and fan are off, or from draining the battery too much if the fan or pump stays on.
