- I think all of your suggestion are worthy of a news release - possibly as a combined story. At the very least it will maintain your profile in the eyes of the media you send it to. Just remember the Who, What, Why, When, Where and Why when you are writing your release, and either include images or invite media to attend a photocall. For your local newspaper these things are probably very much of interest, but the higher up the media ladder you go the less chance you have of getting coverage. - It actually takes less ground coffee to make it in a French Press than in a drip coffeemaker, because you get more out of less--the French press usually holds less water, but you use less ground coffee--and it tastes just as strong as drip coffee (and can be made stronger) by steeping, rather than by using more ground coffee. The longer you steep it, the stronger it gets--and more flavorful. For a 2-cup French press you can use about 3 scoops (2 tbsp coffee measures) of coffee--in a drip maker you would use 4-5 for the same amount of water.

- Q: What is the difference between bench pressing with a bar and benching with a machine? I use a machine and bench 180lb, but my friends tell me it's easier on a machine than it is a bar. I've done both at 160lb before and I don't notice a difference.
- When bench pressing with free weights, secondary muscles are involved in balancing the weight, where as with a machine, these secondary muscles are not involved. using a machine is fine, but in order to build greater density and strength, free weights can be a little bit better. Remember when benching with free weights, ALWAYS have a spotter!

- It depends on how much weight the barbell has. If you have a lot of weight, then yes you can get a lot stronger in place of a bench press. You can do dumbbell bench pressing, which is the same as a bench press but with dumbbells.

- I pressed a bunch of my pigments. Put the quarter behind the fabric and press onto the pigment mixture. The cloth will get slightly damp, that's ok, that's just the alcohol being absorbed. Give it a couple of presses, really hard, and lift up the shirt and quarter and voila! You now have your very own pressed pigment eyeshadow! Don't worry you wont ruin it. It will make it less powdery and it will be easier to use. happy pressing!!

- On the face of it, the press is depressing because it reports bad news far more readily than good news. Earthquakes, murders, crashes, rapes etc as well as government weaknesses sell papers! HOWEVER this kind of news is not really depressing : quite the opposite : it cheers people up : they love reading about other people's misfortunes and criticising the govt. Communist regimes deplore negative reporting and give the readers only up-beat news, esp about their own achievements. This sounds healthy, but amounts to suppression of press freedom, which is an essential component of individual freedom.
