- Q: Hi there,i have been using a barbell bench press for my decline press and nearly every gym session i seem to stack the weights up and up. however when i use the smith machine for flat bench press it seems that it takes me a very long time to gain more weight.Which machine will get me better results and weight gains?ThanksP.S Is there any difference between the way the two machines work the chest?(The smith machine is a machine and barbell bench press is free hand)
- Always, ALWAYS go regular free weight bench press. Free weights are the most effective because the movements are not controlled...they are not as safe as machines per se, but what's a spotter for eh? I bench 185lbs (barbell) right now. If I were to use a Smith machine, I could probably do 225lbs due to the extra support. Decline bench pressing seems to be easier than incline for some reason. My favorite has and always will be the regular flat bench press, but I do understand what you mean by decline feeling easy. The standard, flat bench press is the #1 upper body exercise though.
- Q: Is pressed powder foundation visible when worn?All the girls I've seen who i know use pressed powder, their foundation is always visible, but it could be because they cake it on maybe?I'm just looking for a change of foundation, but don't want to buy any which will make it ovbvious Im wearing some
- 1. Either they chose the wrong shade 2. Or They have the wrong skin type (too dry) 3. Or They are wearing too much. 4. Or they aren't blending it properly Pressed powder foundation can be used, but whether or not it looks good depends hugely on the four conditions I listed. To find a foundation that won't show up, it has to match your skin perfectly. The best textures for this are spray foundation and Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse (I use it and I love it). No matter what texture foundation you have, blending it in and using the proper amount is key. I see far too many people with orange cakey lines around their faces!
- Q: my girlfriends ex-boyfriend rammed in to the side of my car with his car while me and my gf were in it, we called the cops and they came and took a report and later arrested him, now my gf and his mom are asking me not to press charges and that his mom wants to get him help (its a mess cause they have a kid together) what should I do? even if i don't press charges wont he still be tried and given a sentence? since he used his car as a weapon. how long will he get?

- Q: So after I press my flowers in a book for about a month and take them out, how do I preserve the color?I've read so many answers but nobody seemed to have answered this. I don't expect my orchids to be vivid after pressing them but is there a way to make them fade LESS? - Q: I've recently joined a gym and I was just curious as to what other females are capable of doing.I'm a 25 year old female with 5 children. I weigh 119 and my height is 5 foot 3. My body fat percentage is 26% (trying my best to cut that down to about 19% or so).Bench press- i can bench press 40 lbs. (which probably isn't that great)pull upschin ups- i can do 10 with a 25 pound counterweightrunning times- my fastest mile was around 9 1/2 minutes (I know, not so great).Feel free to add your other exercises and weights along with reps and sets if you want to.Make sure to add your age and weight if you don't mind.
- I bench press 50lbs. I'm 56, 138lbs, 5'4. I weight train twice a week for 1 hour with a trainer. I do not run. I fitness walk on a tread for 1 hour 6.0 speed 4.0 incline.

- If you are bench pressing every other day you are probably overtraining your pectoral muscles therefore you are seeing no increase in strength, try bench pressing once a week with low reps of around 3-5 and keep increasing the weight slightly every week and you will see an increase in your bench press over a period of time
