Q:How does your factory do regarding quality control?

- Q:I use concealer and foundation...the trublend by covergirl...but i find that when i use the pressed powder on top of the foundation...or when ever i use it it gives me a powdery look...and it the right color...and everything... So is it necessary to use when you use concealer and foundation?
- no it isn't at all necessary unless you have oily skin then pressed powder would be advisable, but if its not foundation is enough if u want a more flawless finish give translucent powder a try only a small amount is needed
- Q:I use almay clear complexion foundation, and I am looking for a powder to go over that...i have fair skin so i use all the light colors. I also like the natural look, where it doesnt look like youre wearing.......makeup.. SO.....I purchased almay nearly naked LOOSE powder and liked it, but was scared it was going to make me break out since it wasnt on the clear complexion line, although it is still non clog poring. I exchanged it for Almay clear complexion press powder and im afraid it will dry out my skin? Help? has anyone ever used these items before? If so..what do you like better? I have sensitive skin..gets kinda dry at first, than oily during the day. Thanks
- I much prefer loose powder. It has a more natural look. I have sensitive skin too. So I only wear makeup about 3 out of 7 days of the week. I would say that most likely the pressed powder won't break your skin out IF you don't put too much on AND you moisturize first. I would recommend Aveeno. It has an SPF and doesn't break my skin out bc it's hypoallergenic. I have found loose powder to not clog my pores as pressed does. Try investing in both and use the pressed powder in your T-zone (nose, forehead) where your skin is oily and breaks out more. Then, apply the loose powder on the rest of your face. hope that helps!
- Q:I want to get a good pressed powder cover up, i have oily skin, and i need something to make my forehead less shiny. what will do the best job, making my forehead the less shiny
- I have the same probem, with my forehead my nose. I recommend Maybelline Dream Matte Powder. It's 10-12$ , a bit pricey, but it's worth it :)
- Q:I know how to press eyeshadows, and I had an idea (inspired by someone else) to mix eyeshadow colors and press them into eyeshadow pots, then sell them.Could I do this? And sell to my friends and such?I'm 15 (16 in February), I just don't want to be breaking any rules here haha.
- yeah, you could do it. buuut, im not sure how many people would want to buy them because of sanitary reasons. I think it would be better if you just invite friends over and they could all make their own. I know you probably want to make money... but makeup? no. jewlery... yes!!

- Q:Do press have to contact someone to get on the red carpet or do they just show up with their camera's and accreditation? I have the press release for the premiere i just didn't know if i should let them know I'm coming to the premiere... thanks!
- Most red carpet events require press credentials, which means, in effect, that you need to get their permission first. The press credentials for each event are given out by the officials running the event. They are not general licenses or ID. On the press release, there should be a media contact phone number or email. Contact them and tell them you want to cover the event for your newspaper, magazine, blog, or whatever. If it's a relatively small event, and they are looking for as much press coverage as they can get, they will probably get you a spot on the red carpet. If it's a major event, that the press is hungry to cover, then space on the carpet will be limited, so they will be more particular, and are less likely to let small media outlets in.

What does that cost the author (ball park figure)? Does Amazon and places like that get to sell your book? How would an author self-publishing get the book to be sold at a Barnes and Noble store? - Q:I'm currently using the Prescriptives Flawless SkinTotal Protection and when I apply it in the morning it looks great on my skin once it dries, but 3 hours later my face looks very oily. I have never used powder over my foundation before. I wanted to make my skin look natural when wearing foundation, so thats why I was afraid to use the powder plus foundation. Should I use the Prescriptives pressed powder or the loose powder to help control the shiny look?
- It really doesn't make a difference whether it's loose or pressed. They both do the same job. Only the texture is different. If you have oily skin, you should use the pressed power. It will probably keep the shine away longer. Plus it's easier to carry with you in case you need to touch up. Your skin should still look natural after the powder as long as you buy the right shade. When you go the counter to but the powder, make sure you let them know you have oily skin, so they will sell you a powder to control the oil. I wear Estee Lauder foundation and power and still look natural.
