- Here are your options: 1. Declaw the cat. There is a new LASER procedure which is LESS painful, LESS bloody, and they recover sooner. 2. Soft Claws. They are small pieces of plastic that you glue onto the nails. Of course, when the nail sheds off, you must replace them. 3. Double-sided tape. Put double-sided tape on the area he/she is clawing. They do not like the sticky feeling. 4. Be sure to place a scratching post (impegnated with catnip as an attractant) right in front of the sofa where he/she scratches. It is a physical barrier, and hopefully, the cat will learn to scratch the post (in the proper place) and not the sofa. You can slowly move the post away from the sofa over several days. 5. Spike pads ... sounds worse than it is!!! They are plastic pads with small plastic spikes (NOT SHARP, but the cat does not like walking on it nor laying down or sitting or standing on the spikes) and this is a physical barrier to the cat being ON the sofa. Of course, if he/she does not scratch while ON the sofa, place the mat on the floor near where he/she stands to do his/her scratching. See links below for the specific items I am referring to. - use a pure good brand of washing up liquid. put a drop the size of the grease on the sofa and rub with a linen cloth like a drying up cloth pure linen or cotton, rub in circles lightly then wash off with warm water on a clean cloth. then dry with a dry cloth. or use saddle soap if you can get it and keep it handy for all leathers use a similar way

- Off white and the brown/gold stripes. That will coordinate well with the other room (golds and red are natural complements) and that will really liven up the white sofa, creating a warmer cozy feeling. You also have a wider range of accent colors on this scheme. The blackish blue would clash with the other room and make the creamy sofa more formal and cool.

- Q: Does microfiber start to turn rough and pill? I've had a microfiber sofa for about a month and its starting to feel grainy and pill like a sweater would, I can't imagine what it will look and feel like 6 months from now. I spoke to the store and they say they can change the fabric but will not guarantee it won't just happen again. Is this normal or did the store sell me something that is not really microfiber. The label says the covering is 100% polyester, is that what all microfiber sofas say? The showroom sofa was nice and soft not like mine at all. I was sold a microfiber sofa and I have a feeling its really not. Can someone please let me know if its is normal for this to happen before I goes nuts on the store, like I said I've only had then sofa for a month. Thanks.
- I've never heard of this. I've been in the furniture business (worlked for 3 stores in that time) for 30 yrs microfiber's been around for about 10 yrs I've never heard of this. Usually this is a problem with a high rayon content, not polyester. I've never even seen this in low-end polyester on an upholstery piece. Did you by any chance, have this sofa treated with a stain resistant spray?? It's the only thing I can think of that may have affected the fabric this way. If you haven't treated it, I would scream bloody murder until I got my money back would purchase somewhere else. If you had the store stain treat it, I would also scream bloody murder have them replace it not get the fabric treatment.
- Q: OK here's the Deal My room is simply small I currently have a queen size bed and it takes about a little below a half of my room but throw in all the other furniture like a desk my buro (spanish word don't know how to say it in english) and I only have two small *** walkways on my room and I hate it it always looks dirty even though it's not and I just want to change it I want to switch out my bed and all my furniture and jsut remodel my room so back to the question what is the most comfortable sofa bed available post links but I don't want them to look like those old school 1990's sofas
