- Q: I'm looking for a leather sofa of good quality that will withstand the scratches that may come from having a dog. I've found nice looking sofas at JcPenney but I've also found sofas of a high grade from sofaweb . These sofas are, of course, A LOT more money. Is it worth it OR are leather sofas from JcPenney of a high enough grade to hold up well over time? I'm specifically looking at the Linden Street Langley sofa.
- No better, or worse, than any other retailer in the same price bracket. JC Penney doesn't make sofas. They only sell them.. If you want a better answer, research the manufacturer.

- It might, but most sleeper sofas have mattresses about 4 inches thick so the problem might be to get it all to fold up. You'd have to try it.

- I must admit--never heard of painting a cloth sofa but there are beautiful slip covers that will solve your decorating dilemma. Suggest Sears or J C Penney department stores.
- Q: I've had dark blue upholstered sofas and black dogs for years with no problems. The dogs shed, but it doesn't show up on the sofas. However I recently rescued an English Mastiff and she's got light hair, which shows up really bad against the dark colors.
