- Wipe down the sofa with warm water on a soft rag. Consider washing it with saddle soap. I have only used it on shoes, handbags and boots, so no idea how long this will take. You can find it with shoe police at your local store. Or there may be some type of leather treatment cream that will restore the look of your sofa. As for the dog, consider getting a blanket that stretches all the way across the seat of the sofa, fold it in half lengthwise, and insert long pieces of aluminum foil between the layers. Put this on the sofa. Dogs and cats hate it and will avoid the sofa. It will protect the sofa when you cannot. Be sure to tuck it in firmly around the edges when you are not at home. (It will look fine if you choose a blanket that goes with the decor; try it first with something you have on hand.)

- Yes this is normal for both sexes the dog is trying to dominate the sofa cushion. Dogs hump for more reasons then just sex alone, humping can be a a sign of dominance also, if you don't like what she is doing, correct her when she does this.

- Use your yellow pages to find a good twin bed. Cover it with a spread designed for a daybed EX. from JCPenney, sears, etc,and put the long side against the wall. Load up on bargain color co-ordinated pillows for the back, Plus your own bed pillow. Save your back! many second hand furniture store may have only slightly used box-springs and mattresses. Do not get a cheap pull-out, inferior support and very hard to move!

- Actually any of those colors should go well with the seafoam. Seafoam is one of those colors that is getting close to neutral in that is it comprised of cool blue with warm yellow....turquoise is probably the best example.....that color can go both ways warm colors and cool colors. If you will be eating on the sofa, I'd avoid the taupe or cream..nothing like pizza sauce to clean up.
