- I okorder / probably had the most for normal sofa. Reclining sofas will cause slip cover to move and never be straight probably why it is not available.

- if it is one of the 4 ones i have one on mine it will go into the couch and work. in needs to fit the frame of the bed it can not be to big it will not go into the couch if it is too big
- Q: Looking for vintage i.e. 1930-1950s pillows for my new retro lookin sofa. It's called dallas steele (which is a slate blue/grey color). In tryin to keep with my depression era vintage home decor I'm wonderin what color pillows for the sofa to use? - Bright orange or maybe lemon or raspberry cusions. Not all together but anyone of these colours would look good. If you have towels teatowels clothing or anything in these colours just place them on the sofa and stand back and see if you like the colour against the sofa before you buy the cusions. I know this sounds strange but if will give you a rough idea on what it would look like in the cusions. Patterns look better as well and add another dimention to the sofa If it is too much pattern just have one or two pattern cusions and a couple of plan ones with a colour picked out from the patten ones. Hope you understand my meaning. Also a good idea would be to google: home decour what colour goes with blue/grey sofa
- Q: Wood panel on large rolled arm, bun feet, and panel across bottom have carvings of leaves . Panel came off when moving and has 3 nails sticking out from the inside. How do I fix it?
- If nails are in sofa pound them in. Get some Elmer's white glue and glue the panel to the sofa. You need clamps or rubber bands or something to hold panel for 24 hours. If nails are sticking out of panel then they need to be snipped or cut flush and then do the gluing. If you try to nail it will look crappy. I have a grandfather's clock that is glued panels and it has held since 1983.
- Q: My family has been through one sofa a year and we can't keep doing it. I would like to know what sofa works for other rough families out there. I know that it has very little to do with price. I have gotten $2000.00 sofas and $500.00 sofas and they have very little different when it comes to the quality of how they are made. I know the best fabric is Leather... I just need a brand that is also great for kids; who can't sit without plopping or jumping or what ever else they do when parents aren't around. - Q: The sofa sits in a smallish living room with a soaring two story ceiling, so I have a lot of wall to cover.
- I also live in a charming old home with high ceilings, large windows and oak floors with a plum colored sofa, chair and otoman. I went with a pale butter yellow. My wood tables in the same room are mahogany stained. The pale butter yellow is not to bright and glaring with the darker colored furniture. The lighter walls did wonders for my living room. I got compliments from everyone I know the first time they saw my choice on the walls.
- Q: My 14 y/o step daughter (a bedwetter) fell asleep on my new sofa. Needles to say, as she wasn't wearing a goodnite/diaper, she had an accident on the sofa. She apologized profusely and cleaned the sofa as best she could. I am mad at her, but haven't punished her as she is usually a well-behaved girl. Does she need to be punished for wetting the sofa?
- No as it was an accident. The fact she's tried cleaning the sofa shows shes tried to make up for the accident and shes probably totally embarrassed about her problem anyway. That's far more than most teens would do. Theres lots of parents would envy you. Think of those with teens who go out and get drunk and then throw up all over the house and then swear at you when you talk to them about cleaning it up. Your stepdaughter may have a wetting problem but compared to some teens she sounds an angel.
- Q: Which ones are comfortable to sleep on for lengthy visits? My in-laws could stay for 3 months at a time. For the folding beds, I mean those cot-like ones with thin mattresses, not murphy beds.

- Well, Homer, if this is going to be your man room I think you should decide. I guess a lot depends on the amount of room you have, too. We have a lazy boy reclining sofa and love seat that hold 5 adults, which is nice if you are having the guys or family over and a pretty big coffee table. I don't know if you want a big, old chair for yourself or not. Are you going to get leather or cloth. I want to switch to leather just as soon as I get motivated, but it won't provide as much seating, I don't think. Enjoy whatever you choose.
- Q: I have this great old 1920s Empire Sofa (curled arms, navy velour, brass claw feet, uber comfortable)But the problem is that it is sagging. I felt underneath the couch and I feel wire or springs or something like that. I have a friend who can reupholster, but I wonder about the springs or whatever on the bottom. How do I fix that so it wont sag?
- For a temp fix, get a long strip of durable wood or MDF and put it under the cushions. Just make sure you measure before you go to the hardware store so they can cut it to size for you.
