Design Features of full welded forged steel ball valve

The body of ball valve is full welded, selects high quality forged material, and adopts the advanced forged forming technology to form two semi-spheres which are welded into a whole in the middle of the body. This welding technology differentiates the ball valve form others, and makes the valve more spherically,so the valve structure is more compacter, lighter and stronger.Besides, the middle direct welding realize highly accurate valve body manufacturing, makes fully and completely sealing between the seat and ball. The full welding instead of bolts completely avoids the outside leakage,so ball valve is the ideal product for under-ground,offshore working platform and under-sea equipments.

Adopting fixed plates or trunnion to support the ball

The top and bottom of the ball is supported by upper and lower fixed plates or stem and trunnion, and the ball is accurately placed in the center of the ball valve to achieve complete seals and precise movements. When plate adopted, the force exerted by the medium to the ball is distributed via the plate to the left and right bodies,so that the stem does not bear the blending moment from the medium, but only the torque from the ball rotation during the opening/closing of the valve. The low-friction PTFE Teflon composite bearings installed between the ball axis and fixed plate and between the stem and the trunnion can absorb ball moving action caused by the pressure of the medium. This structure brings stable actions and easy operations for the ball valves, and the required operation torque can be reduced,so smaller actuators can be used, and the cost is cut down.

ball valve seat is floating structure, means the seat can move along the medium direction,so that the seat can fit against the ball all the time.
Double piston effect structure seat of full welded forged steel ball valve
Seat design is special double pistons effect structure,it can ensure the seal wherever the medium flows into the ball valve.

Seat multistage seal strucute of full welded forged steel ball valve
As following graphic instruction,on seat bearing ring, set two soft sealing rings(A and B)and metal sealing spherical surface which can seal with the ball.Seat ring A is spring loaded, which seals the surface with the ball tightly to the surface to form an initial seat; When there is pressure generated from medium, the piston force is generated to make seal ring A elastically deformed and seal ring B fit the surface of the ball surface due to the piston effect caused by area difference, thus the second seal forms. When the medium pressure is rising. It will generate huge pressure to seal ring A and seal ring B,so the two seals have a greater elastic deformation, then metal seal ball surface compact with ball surface to form the third level of metal to metal seal.

Secondary seat seal device of full welded forged steel ball valve
As the above graphic instruction, the secondary seal device(seat grease injection valve)can be chosen according to the actual working condition, medium requirement, seal requirement, etc.Seat ring grease injection valve is a one-way valve, installed on the body, which can prevent the leakage and inject grease under the outside force. When secondary seal is required, there is a grease injecting channel and hole on the seat ring. The grease can form a seal between the seat and the ball, and then stop the leakage.

Q:My third valve won't move at all. I haven't played my trumpet in a while and I tried to oil it to get it to unstick but it still won't move at all. People say to screw it off but I can only unscrew the little cap at the bottom of the valve where you push in, not the white button at the top. Help please! Thank you so much! =]
on the top of the valve there is the screw that you turn to open the valve to oil it. if this screw wont turn gently tap the edges of it with the rim of your mouthpiece, and make sure that you get the entire screw cap. if this doesn't loosen it enough to remove the cap, then repeat while hitting it at an angle in the direction that it needs to turn. if this doesn't work take off the bottom cap and drip valve oil up though the bottom to drip up to the top cap and continue with the tapping process. if it still wont move, you need to take it to a shop. once the upper cap is loose, the valve still wont move, this is when you take off the bottom valve cap (if you haven't already) and fully remove a different valve that has already been oiled and push it up through the bottom of the stuck valve, this might be hard to do, and you might need to put in a lot of valve oil into the bottom to get it to move. once this valve is removed, thoroughly clean the valve casing and the valve itself, and oil both before replacing the valve. Hope this helps.
Q:I pulled the vaccuum line off the valve and nothing happened. I revved the engine and held it a higher rpm and still nothing happened(no vaccuum). Does this mean that the egr valve is bad. I have been having a problem with rough idle, and keeping the car running at a stop sign. I have already changed the pcv valve and that seemed to help a little. Thanks
You have likely got a bit of carbon in the EGR that you can clean after you remove it, I usually spray some penetrating oil into the valve hold my finger over the hole that I sprayed into and turn the valve over, if it leaks the seat is dirty and cleaning the carbon out may help. also push up on the plunger several times to be sure that it doesn't stick alternate carb cleaner with penetrating oil until the valve is free and no longer leaks when inverted. As far as your question the test you described doesn't test the EGR or the EGR solenoid correctly at all. On some the car needs to be in gear to actuate the EGR, all you need to do is check that there is vacuum to the solenoid and that the EGR valve works freely. If the EGR fails to work the check engine light should be on and you can check the code to get a clue as to why.
Q:ok so my 1993 bonneville started shaking and its smells like gas fumes in the car, so i cant drive it cause i have a newborn baby.so i took it to the dealership, they said codes 53,54,55,42,66 came up. they said i needed a new cadiletic converter, so i went to a local muffler shop. they said it was glowing cause it was so hot and said that wasnt the problem.i called the dealership back and they said they cleaned the egr vavle but said maybe it needs to be replaced, well before i spend any money i wanted to get everyones opinion, the car drive great, only shake when ur at idle. and smells awful inside uld this be the egr valve ?
could be egr or fuel pressure regulator. while running pull vacuum line off of regulator if fuel is present its bad .
Q:Last year an echo revealed severe aortic valve regurgitation with low ef of 37 but ecg was normal. i am 36 yrs old. I have noticed that i often have chest pain when i lie on my left (especially after a heavy drinking or if my bp is high) but the pain subsides when i lie on my right or back. Is it possible that my aortic valve only leaks when i lie on my left side, if so, can I continue living a normal life without needing valve replacement surgery if avoid lieing on my left side. or i'm i fooling myself, is the heart damage progressing silently?
Hello, You don't tell us *why* your doctors think, you developed this problem with your aortic valve in the first place? Has there been any infection of the valve with germs, (bacterial endocarditis)? Did you have Rheumatic Fever as a child? Were you born, with stenosis or regurgitation of your aortic valve? Do you have abnormally early, clogging-up of your artery-linings with cholesterol?
Q:Kenmore washer ,cold water trickles in, pressure from faucet OK. Must entire valve be replaced?
see if you can find a manuel on it also try tracing the wires that go to the valve and back track from there. there is also water level switches and tempture switches that might be messed up
Q:I'm a 68 year old male. i've had mitral valve regurgitation all my life . recently an echocardiogram listed it as 3 plus. I'm in otherwise good health and continue to jog 3 miles three times a week at about a 9 minute mile rate. Is surgery advised.
Have you asked your Cardiologist this question as well as your Primary? I do not know what the reading indicates...sorry!
Q:1. Why is there an exaust valve. Isnt it only a port. Where do the gases that go into the exaust valve go?2. How does air enter the intake valve. If you look at a push rod diagram, you cant see where the air is enteringCan someone explain to me the valve concept
Hey mechanic wannabe, The intake valve opens, the piston moving downward pulls the fuel mixture into the combustion chamber, the fuel explodes under pressure caused by the piston rising and both valves remain closed. When the piston comes back up the exhaust valve opens and all the burnt fuel leaves the combustion chamber and goes down the exhaust pipes until blown out the end of the exhaust system.
Q:What are the benefits of changing new cylinder heads and exhaust valves in the Main engine of the vessel? I am now studying a vessel which has a problem with their main engine. Frequent repair of cylinder heads (they usually weld it) and exhaust valves are the ones they do. I need to further give the benefits to be submitted to the vessel's management for them to buy new cylinder heads and exhaust valves as a replacement for the welded ones.
It sounds to me like this ship has an ongoing exhaust problem (maybe an obstruction of the flow) Or a low volume of cooling water (look at the water pumps) About the only reason to weld a head would be because of a crack and the most likely reason for a crack is over heating likewise the burned valves! Assuming that the engine was assembled correctly What else would cause the over heating except one of the above! Before you put new expensive heads and valves on this thing check out the over heating ( just because the Gage never shows hot dose not mean that it isn't! If the welding and the valve replacement was done correctly then there may be no benefit at all in buying new ones a compression test would tell, but a REAL LARGE benefit in finding out WHY this would happen especially more then ounce !
Q:here are pix's i want to no, if there is a easy fix or does it have 2 b machined thanksi think it use to have a bent valve in it
hard to tell looking at your pic,s. your best bet is to find a trust worthy machine shop...they can tell you if they can be lapped or if they need replacing...newer heads have hardened valve,s seat,s..if damaged they should be replaced ...valve,s , seat,s , guide,s , valve seal,s , possible rocker assembly,s , lifter,s , push rod,s ,Etc......best of luck!
Q:I have a suzuki bandit 1200 (2001) and I think it needs a valve adjustment. The engine is tapping at idle and while riding but I cant stop riding long enough to get it fixed. All the shops I checked with are booked for a week. Will I make the engine worst by riding it like this?
Noisy valves are better than quiet ones. Quiet means the valves are not fully closing, and exhaust gases will squeeze out the intake and exhaust ports causing burning of the valve seats. Shouldn't hurt too much to ride it until it's convenient for you. Keep an ear out, if it starts to get louder or somehow changes suddenly, you'll probably want to take it in right away.
