Design Features of full welded forged steel ball valve

The body of ball valve is full welded, selects high quality forged material, and adopts the advanced forged forming technology to form two semi-spheres which are welded into a whole in the middle of the body. This welding technology differentiates the ball valve form others, and makes the valve more spherically,so the valve structure is more compacter, lighter and stronger.Besides, the middle direct welding realize highly accurate valve body manufacturing, makes fully and completely sealing between the seat and ball. The full welding instead of bolts completely avoids the outside leakage,so ball valve is the ideal product for under-ground,offshore working platform and under-sea equipments.

Adopting fixed plates or trunnion to support the ball

The top and bottom of the ball is supported by upper and lower fixed plates or stem and trunnion, and the ball is accurately placed in the center of the ball valve to achieve complete seals and precise movements. When plate adopted, the force exerted by the medium to the ball is distributed via the plate to the left and right bodies,so that the stem does not bear the blending moment from the medium, but only the torque from the ball rotation during the opening/closing of the valve. The low-friction PTFE Teflon composite bearings installed between the ball axis and fixed plate and between the stem and the trunnion can absorb ball moving action caused by the pressure of the medium. This structure brings stable actions and easy operations for the ball valves, and the required operation torque can be reduced,so smaller actuators can be used, and the cost is cut down.

ball valve seat is floating structure, means the seat can move along the medium direction,so that the seat can fit against the ball all the time.
Double piston effect structure seat of full welded forged steel ball valve
Seat design is special double pistons effect structure,it can ensure the seal wherever the medium flows into the ball valve.

Seat multistage seal strucute of full welded forged steel ball valve
As following graphic instruction,on seat bearing ring, set two soft sealing rings(A and B)and metal sealing spherical surface which can seal with the ball.Seat ring A is spring loaded, which seals the surface with the ball tightly to the surface to form an initial seat; When there is pressure generated from medium, the piston force is generated to make seal ring A elastically deformed and seal ring B fit the surface of the ball surface due to the piston effect caused by area difference, thus the second seal forms. When the medium pressure is rising. It will generate huge pressure to seal ring A and seal ring B,so the two seals have a greater elastic deformation, then metal seal ball surface compact with ball surface to form the third level of metal to metal seal.

Secondary seat seal device of full welded forged steel ball valve
As the above graphic instruction, the secondary seal device(seat grease injection valve)can be chosen according to the actual working condition, medium requirement, seal requirement, etc.Seat ring grease injection valve is a one-way valve, installed on the body, which can prevent the leakage and inject grease under the outside force. When secondary seal is required, there is a grease injecting channel and hole on the seat ring. The grease can form a seal between the seat and the ball, and then stop the leakage.

Q: what would happen if valve was not adjusted right? and please explain
it could make a hole in your piston
Q: When my son was three I switched Dr's for him. The new doctor said has he always had a heart murmur I said no that's the first I've heard of it so we went for test. Anyway heart specialist did all tests said my son had Bav a valve disorder in the heart. He said it is very common. However everyone I've ever talked to has never heard of it. My question is does anyone have this what is your story and have you had to have your valve replaced. My son is very healthy active I'm just worried. Any help would be greatly appreciated....thank you!!
A bicuspid aortic valve is not necessarily a problem - a normal aortic valve has three cusps, and your son only has two. Having only two cusps is not a big deal. The mitral valve in the heart naturally has only two cusps, so three cusps are not needed for a heart valve to function. The advantage of three valves is a slight increase in efficiency, but the difference between a normal valve and properly working bicuspid valve would only matter to a professional athlete. If the aortic valve closes almost completely, there is nothing to worry about. Since he has a heart murmur, its possible that it is caused by having only two cusps, but people with three cusps commonly have murmurs. There is no reason to get the valve replaced simply because of only two cusps. What matters is the level of aortic valve regurgitation. If regurgitation is not significant, your son has a normally functioning heart. Even if he had a moderate or high amount of regurgitation, it still might not have enough effect to warrant surgery. There are tests to measure regurgitation.
Q: I was wondering if the pressure relief valve can be vented right under the house or does it have to be ran to the outside of the house. Also is there another method such as a catch pan that I can employ? I live in Washington.
Most codes state that it must be vented to the outside.Check with your city code enforcer or county office.
Q: My car may have warped valves. What does this mean? Can it be fixed? If so about how much? And how does this happen in the first place? Anything helps! Thanks!
takin the head off isnt the only way to tell if their warped.if ur engine doesnt have good compression on each cylinder then u kno its bent.or a broke rocker arm isnt openin the valve.the heads may need machining after a bent valve. but i think they can also warp not jus bend by bein hit or burnt.warped by pullin cold air where it dont belong
Q: where can i get my Idle air control valve cleaned on a 84 celica supra
There should be a VECI map under your hood that shows you where this valve is located. In a pinch, find a Haynes manual or a Robert Bentley manual that has pictures in it. If you can find the valve, you can clean it yourself with a can of spray Gum-out. While you're at it, clean the throttle body and PCV valve, too. Hopefully, you have had the good sense to have used only genuine Toyota coolant in this car, since Toyota heads require a special coolant formulation to prevent aluminum deterioration. More older Japanese engines are ruined with improper coolant than I can write about here. Sensor damage is caused as well! You might take your car to the Toyota dealer and ask them to clean out the valve for you. Since this is only a 2 minute job, they just might do it for free. If they do, at least offer to tip the technician under the table. Be sure to power wash your entire engine bay before you take the car in. They will LOVE you for this!!!
Q: Specify eight technical requirements that you would consider important, when deciding upon a particular control valve?
1] I assume that by control valve you mean a variable orifice valve, not an on/off valve. 2] An answerer to your other question listed Metallurgy, temperature, pressure and shutoff requirement To which I note that if you need a tight shutoff you should not trust a control valve to do that, but should add an on/off valve in series. Also, metallurgy covers corrosion requirements but not obviously so 3] To which I add: flow rate [or Cv] and pressure drop fail open or fail closed response time signal input [3-15 psi, 4-20 mA, 1-5V, etc] connections [ie, fitting type] packed vs sealed might need to look at hard seat materials and/or replaceable seats, to control erosion reliability, ease of maintenance, availability of spares, timing on that vendor permanence [ie, are they entering bankruptcy ?] Cost
Q: Does the new valve get glued or anything or do I just put it on tightly? I cannot tell if the existing valve is glued on or not.
Is the new valve or the old valve the compression type? If the old valve is then as you take it off you will discover if it is glued (I doubt a compression valve is also glued). Replace the old valve with the same type as the old one. That is always a good rule of thumb to follow. Put it on tightly but DO NOT over-tighten it. 1/4 turn past tight it usually tight enough. I am not a big fan of compression fittings in either copper or cpvc. You may wish to put a glued valve on, if you already have the cleaner, the primer, and the glue, other wise the expense of the materials does not warrant their purchase for the changing of one valve.
Q: This is my first tranny install and there is one thing that i really think i f'd up on. I'v been installing a junk yard 700r4 and transfer case into this beater 1990 k1500. Everything is in i'm just waiting on a new throttle valve cable (detent cable) to put it. But me, being my first tranny install, thought that the piece inside of the transmission that the detent cable attatches too.....came out. which i later found out that it doesn't, and that the TV cable just connects to it. I yanked on it pretty good with some pliers, and it never came out, and it still moves up and down. My question is could i have done some serious damage to that peice and the throttle valve itself???? let me know what u think.... thanks!
The only thing i can think you could have done i bent the peice that comes out of the trans. If the throttle valve still returns like a spring when you pull it with your fingers and you can still hook the tv cable to it it should be fine. unhook the tv cable at the carb or throttle body to hook it to the valve then hook it back to the carb or throttle body.
Q: I have an '03 vw jetta and don't know if I should get a greddy blow off valve or an injen cold air intake? Any suggestions? I don't know a lot about either, what is the difference between them?
a cold air intake will produce more hp and tourque while a bov will help release back pressure on a turbocharged vehicle. ive got a 1.8l turbo and i went with a cold air intake. then again i was going for more hp. also the bov will produce an awsome release of air into the atmosphere. then again if you get the air intake like i did you will hear the wastegate on your turbo make that same noise. and trust me itll make some ppl think you got major hp under the hood. so if you want the hp and the sound get the intake if you want the sound but are satisfied with the hp get the bov. intake will also help mpg's to.
Q: emission control valve toyota camry
emissions control valve is another name given for an exhaust gas recirculator valve(egr valve). This valve routes a sample of your cars exhaust gases back into the cylinder to be re-burned and therefore lowers emissions. The ports to this valve become clogged over time and can create performance issues
