Design Features of full welded forged steel ball valve

Adopting fixed plates or trunnion to support the ball
The top and bottom of the ball is supported by upper and lower fixed plates or stem and trunnion,and the ball is accurately placed in the center of the ball valve to achieve complete seals and precise movements.When plate adopted,the force exerted by the medium to the ball is distributed via the plate to the left and right bodies,so that the stem does not bear the blending moment from the medium,but only the torque from the ball rotation during the opening/closing of the valve.The low-friction PTFE Teflon composite bearings installed between the ball axis and fixed plate and between the stem and the trunnion can absorb ball moving action caused by the pressure of the medium.This structure brings stable actions and easy operations for the ball valves,and the required operation torque can be reduced,so smaller actuators can be used,and the cost is cut down.

As following graphic instruction,on seat bearing ring,set two soft sealing rings(A and B)and metal sealing spherical surface which can seal with the ball.Seat ring A is spring loaded,which seals the surface with the ball tightly to the surface to form an initial seat;When there is pressure generated from medium,the piston force is generated to make seal ring A elastically deformed and seal ring B fit the surface of the ball surface due to the piston effect caused by area difference,thus the second seal forms.When the medium pressure is rising.It will generate huge pressure to seal ring A and seal ring B,so the two seals have a greater elastic deformation,then metal seal ball surface compact with ball surface to form the third level of metal to metal seal.
(Ⅲ)Secondary seat seal device of full welded forged steel ball valve
As the above graphic instruction,the secondary seal device(seat grease injection valve)can be chosen according to the actual working condition,medium requirement,seal requirement,etc.Seat ring grease injection valve is a one-way valve,installed on the body,which can prevent the leakage and inject grease under the outside force.When secondary seal is required,there is a grease injecting channel and hole on the seat ring.The grease can form a seal between the seat and the ball,and then stop the leakage.

- The difference is the size of the orifice. I've never changed it myself but I don't think it could be too difficult, however I've always had a professional do it for me. The reason for this is that propane and natural gas (methane) have very different Btu contents. Propane has a much higher Btu content and the orifice for propane is smaller. There is also a small difference in pressures of the supplied gas as pointed out below, but it is small. If you hook up propane while having the natural gas orfice installed, you may experience problems with incomplete combustion (soot) and the appliance getting hotter than design due to too many Btu's. LNG (Liquid Natural Gas) is a cryogenic form of methane. It is generally stored at -250 deg F. It is not used for domestic fuel.

- First, you should know that a valve trombone is different from what you're talking about. Valve trombones have three or four valves, much like a baritone or euphonium. What you're thinking of is called a symphonic tenor trombone, tenor-bass trombone (less common), or a tenor trombone with an f-attachment. The difference between the axial flow and traditional rotary valve on the trombone is one of feel. The axial valve is designed to provide less of a change in resistance between playing the horn with and and without the valve pressed down. Some people prefer that resistance. Either way, the quality of the entire horn is going to be a better indicator than the valve section by itself. Your best bet is to go to a local music store and ask to try out all the professional models - pick which one feels and sounds the best to your style of playing.
- Q: Water is seeping up around relief valve threads. Tried tightening but could not get it any tighter.
- lift few times pressure relief release, just to check if it is not jammed and it is not holding too high pressure. 1. prepare thread tape or goo, if no experience - goo is better, available in hardware and plumbing stores, you need just few drops 2. cut off water supply to the heater 3. relieve pressure in the heater (just open any hot water tap (fawcet) and let water out) 4. remove the valve completely, 5. with wire brush clean the thread, check for damage to the thread on the cistern as well and clean it too 6. wind several layers of teflon tape or well grease with plumbers hot water goo 7. remount the valve 8. close hot water tap which was used to release the pressure 9. open water supply to the heater 10. open hot water faucet to let the air out, close when stop gurgling and water pour out 11. check for leaks, if no leaks - JOB WELL DONE! 12 if any leaks find, repeat 1 to 4, wind few more layers of teflon tape, if goo was used - you need to use tape as well then. 12. repeat 7 to 11 and that is all...

- okay your gonna look at your intake manifold. Then locate where your air intake connects to the throttle body. Look around the throttle body and you should see the egr valve it will be hidden by your air intake but if you look hard enough you'll find it and also if you see in vacuum lines running around there, they will point you in the right direction because your egr valve has two vacuum lines that run to it. hopefully that helps.
