Design Features of full welded forged steel ball valve

Adopting fixed plates or trunnion to support the ball
The top and bottom of the ball is supported by upper and lower fixed plates or stem and trunnion,and the ball is accurately placed in the center of the ball valve to achieve complete seals and precise movements.When plate adopted,the force exerted by the medium to the ball is distributed via the plate to the left and right bodies,so that the stem does not bear the blending moment from the medium,but only the torque from the ball rotation during the opening/closing of the valve.The low-friction PTFE Teflon composite bearings installed between the ball axis and fixed plate and between the stem and the trunnion can absorb ball moving action caused by the pressure of the medium.This structure brings stable actions and easy operations for the ball valves,and the required operation torque can be reduced,so smaller actuators can be used,and the cost is cut down.

As following graphic instruction,on seat bearing ring,set two soft sealing rings(A and B)and metal sealing spherical surface which can seal with the ball.Seat ring A is spring loaded,which seals the surface with the ball tightly to the surface to form an initial seat;When there is pressure generated from medium,the piston force is generated to make seal ring A elastically deformed and seal ring B fit the surface of the ball surface due to the piston effect caused by area difference,thus the second seal forms.When the medium pressure is rising.It will generate huge pressure to seal ring A and seal ring B,so the two seals have a greater elastic deformation,then metal seal ball surface compact with ball surface to form the third level of metal to metal seal.

As the above graphic instruction,the secondary seal device(seat grease injection valve)can be chosen according to the actual working condition,medium requirement,seal requirement,etc.Seat ring grease injection valve is a one-way valve,installed on the body,which can prevent the leakage and inject grease under the outside force.When secondary seal is required,there is a grease injecting channel and hole on the seat ring.The grease can form a seal between the seat and the ball,and then stop the leakage.

- I have a bicuspid aortic valve, it was discovered when I was a few days old. I'm 22 now. If you are having chest pains and palpitations you really need to get in and see a cardiologist. They'll probably give you a heart monitor which is a 24 hour thing that you wear. If you don't catch anything try asking for an even monitor, one that you wear for a month. You really do need to go see someone though. If you want to talk further about it, because I know how scary something like that can be, we can chat further on yahoo or e-mail.

- one thing i have done on some cars with shifting problems is to flush the trans fluid. bring it to a good shop and have them FLUSH it , not just change it. you can do it yourself without any special equipment but you will have to drain and refill the system about 3 to 4 times driving it a few miles inbetween to circulate the oil - it is a real pain in the ***

- I don't know if cars really have replaceable valve seats or seats that can come loose (maybe they do with aluminum heads). But if a valve contacts a piston for whatever reason the valve and piston can sort of disappear (ie, break up). How many miles are on the car, and if it has a timing belt, did you ever replace the timing belt at the recommended miles (not normally an issue for engines with timing chain). Many engines are interference engines which means that if the timing belt breaks and pistons keep moving, a piston can hit a valve. Although, we had a regular V8 engine do that (valve and piston disappear) with a car from the late 1960's (not sure of actual cause, we replaced it with a used engine).

I bought it recently and the check engine light came on out of nowhere and I realized It was an EGR issue the code was p0401 insufficient flow. - Ford vehicles commonly have this problem. Their is a sensor that determines the flow of the EGR. This sensor is called Differential Pressure Feedback Sensor or (DPFE). originally the cougar's came with a plastic DPFE they became brittle from the high engine bay temperatures. There was a newer revised part that is now metal to withstand high heat. 86k miles is roughly when you see them go bad. 9 times out of 10 on a ford the sensor is bad not the ExhaustGasRecirculation Valve. I say replace the sensor, or pay to have it diagnosed properly. And a loose gas cap will give you a gross evap leak code not a egr code.

- It depends a lot on which valve and why it's being replaced, but unless the COPD is very bad, the average chance that a 58yo man who does not have any other major medical problems will survive single-valve replacement surgery is better than 98% if the surgery is done by an experienced surgeon at a good hospital. The COPD will very likely mean that his post-operative recovery will be prolonged and difficult, but he should do fine.
- Q: The valve on my radiator has numbers on it to determine the amount of air/steam leaving the heating system. what number should i put it on and how would i determine it
- I would think the easiest way would be to put a thermometer on the radiator (with the bulb in the air flow), turn the heat on to one setting and record the temperatures each half hour for about 4 hours. Then, turn the adjustment to a higher (or lower) number and repeat that. That way, you'd know which way to turn to set it. Of course, the level at which you'd be comfortable would be found by trying different settings. Assuming the adustment is a valve, valves in the USA will open by turning counter-clockwise. Closing is, of course, clockwise. Hope that helps. EDIT: I received your email - I don't mind at all! OK, so you have only one valve for all the radiators. Without knowing anything else, I'd say you just removed the part called the bonnet (the upper half of a valve). It shouldn't matter which number it's set on if it's reinstalled correctly. When a valve is removed, the best way to put back is to open it slightly (turn counterclockwise to a low number), then reinstall the bonnet. Once it's back in, it should work like normal. If that doesn't work, perhaps you can get a plumber or a local handyman to check it. As to the upper ones being airlocked, it really sounds like there is a blockage in the supply line. I am assuming this is steam-heat radiator that is supplied by a boiler-type heating unit?

- Most of the time its not the EGR Valve, this something else. Do you no what code or codes were found ? I've seen the O-ring missing on the PVC valve alot and this trips a EGR code, Check the PVC Valve for the O-Rings or when the engines ruining open the oil cap and check to see if theres a large vacuum there. If so the O-ring is missing.

- Probably won't help. Idle Air Control valves are blamed probably ten times as often as they are at fault in Honda engines. It is mounted on the side of the throttle body and has a connector with wires instead of hoses. You don't mention why you are interested in the IAC valve, but if it is because of idle hunting (revving between about 500 rpm and 1500 rpm smoothly and rhythmically), a bubble in the coolant is by far the most common cause. If the coolant is changed and not bled the normal idle speed can't get hot coolant to the Fast Idle Thermo valve (FITV) so it figures the engine is cold and the valve opens to raise the idle. That raises the coolant to the FITV, which then decides the engine is warm so the valve closes, dropping the idle speed, over and over. Burping the coolant, by opening the bleed nipple on top of one of the radiator hose housings at the engine half a turn until a steady stream of coolant comes out, should stop that. Do it with the engine cold.
