Design Features of full welded forged steel ball valve

The body of ball valve is full welded, selects high quality forged material, and adopts the advanced forged forming technology to form two semi-spheres which are welded into a whole in the middle of the body. This welding technology differentiates the ball valve form others, and makes the valve more spherically,so the valve structure is more compacter, lighter and stronger.Besides, the middle direct welding realize highly accurate valve body manufacturing, makes fully and completely sealing between the seat and ball. The full welding instead of bolts completely avoids the outside leakage,so ball valve is the ideal product for under-ground,offshore working platform and under-sea equipments.

Adopting fixed plates or trunnion to support the ball

The top and bottom of the ball is supported by upper and lower fixed plates or stem and trunnion, and the ball is accurately placed in the center of the ball valve to achieve complete seals and precise movements. When plate adopted, the force exerted by the medium to the ball is distributed via the plate to the left and right bodies,so that the stem does not bear the blending moment from the medium, but only the torque from the ball rotation during the opening/closing of the valve. The low-friction PTFE Teflon composite bearings installed between the ball axis and fixed plate and between the stem and the trunnion can absorb ball moving action caused by the pressure of the medium. This structure brings stable actions and easy operations for the ball valves, and the required operation torque can be reduced,so smaller actuators can be used, and the cost is cut down.

ball valve seat is floating structure, means the seat can move along the medium direction,so that the seat can fit against the ball all the time.
Double piston effect structure seat of full welded forged steel ball valve
Seat design is special double pistons effect structure,it can ensure the seal wherever the medium flows into the ball valve.

Seat multistage seal strucute of full welded forged steel ball valve
As following graphic instruction,on seat bearing ring, set two soft sealing rings(A and B)and metal sealing spherical surface which can seal with the ball.Seat ring A is spring loaded, which seals the surface with the ball tightly to the surface to form an initial seat; When there is pressure generated from medium, the piston force is generated to make seal ring A elastically deformed and seal ring B fit the surface of the ball surface due to the piston effect caused by area difference, thus the second seal forms. When the medium pressure is rising. It will generate huge pressure to seal ring A and seal ring B,so the two seals have a greater elastic deformation, then metal seal ball surface compact with ball surface to form the third level of metal to metal seal.

Secondary seat seal device of full welded forged steel ball valve
As the above graphic instruction, the secondary seal device(seat grease injection valve)can be chosen according to the actual working condition, medium requirement, seal requirement, etc.Seat ring grease injection valve is a one-way valve, installed on the body, which can prevent the leakage and inject grease under the outside force. When secondary seal is required, there is a grease injecting channel and hole on the seat ring. The grease can form a seal between the seat and the ball, and then stop the leakage.

Q: Okay so my boyfriend's father is getting a heart valve replacement....he's so nervous he cried last night when he heard it will be in 2 weeks....and he's usually one of those tough guys has anyone or know anyone who has had this type of surgery. They are leaning towards a animal (cow or pig) valve...because with mechanical you have to take blood thinners for the rest of your life...anyways if anyone knows information on this or knows the pro's and cons of the two diff. types of valves please give me info. Thanks
I worked in ICU for 16 years, 8 of them with open heart patients. My dad also had 3 bypasses and 2 valves replaced at age 80. He will celebrate his 89th birthday in May. My dad had the mechanical because being 80, it should last the rest of his life. He does take blood thinners, as do millions of other people in the world. It's really not that big a deal, and if it prevents strokes and other problems related to clots, people accept that. You got a lot of good information in the Answer before mine, so I won't repeat. Just understand that it's perfectly normal to be petrified and tearful and scared about such a major surgery. Even the big macho men feel that way, and many of them had fears long after they had the valve done. It's normal. Attitude is a very big factor in uneventful recovery, those with more positive attitudes got better more quickly. So after the initial shock wears off, be sure that all of you encourage him, listen to his fears but help him understand it's a new lease on life for him and that all of you will be there to help him get back on his feet as quickly as possible. When I first started nursing, people would be in ICU for 4-5 days, then in the hospital another 2 weeks after having heart surgery. My dad was home in 5 days, and that was 9 years ago! Heart surgery has come a long way, and he has every right to be hopeful about the outcome. Good luck to him and all of you!
Q: Is this possible? The valve is way too big to fit the rim. Is there a special inner tube for this rim? Thanks in advance.
Yes it is possible. It sounds like you have the type of rim that takes the smaller shafted tubes and not the standard style you can normally find in departments stores. You need to take your bike to a cycle shop and have them look at the hole and see what sort of tube you need.
Q: Steam is a gaming network and valve is a company, but what else? I think that it might be nothing; they both suck at working.
I don't understand this question fully, but I think you like my answer: Steam is a software for gaming articles, but it also meaning gas on another word. Valve (www.google.rs/search?q=Valvehl=srclient=firefox-ahs=SCurls=org.mozilla:en-US:officialprmd=imvnssource=lnmstbm=ischei=8zHfTr2iIsKnhAeTy-yVBQsa=Xoi=mode_linkct=modecd=2ved=0CCgQ_AUoAQbiw=800bih=393) is a legal company, same as meaning the link I put there. Hope it helps! :)
Q: I was looking at the specs on my audi a4 and it said 30 valves and I was looking at a few other cars and they said 24 valves. What do the valves determine? Whats the difference if the car has more valves than another?
Number okorder /.. The picture shows circles inside circles. Think of the larger circle as the cylinder and the smaller ones inside, as valves. In the first one the open area of the valves is 50%. In the second one the open area of the valves is 62%. In the third one the open area of the valves is 68%. And in the fourth one the open area of the valves is 69%. The more open area, the less restriction to flow. This means your engine will pull in more air, which provides more power.
Q: i believe it's to do something to the valve guide to make it the right clearance n not go straight to the valve seat right? or is valve seat next?
Once the valve guide is installed, it has to be reamed to fit the valve stem. After it has been reamed to fit the valve stem, the new valve needs to be seated in. (The valve seat should have already been done by this point) This can be done with a machine tool, or it can be ground in by hand with valve grinding compound. Once this is accomplished, the valve is removed, everything is cleaned thoroughly, and the valve is reinstalled with the spring and keeper. Normally you would do all the operations to all the valves at the same time. (That is, you don't grind in one valve, then go back and ream another valve stem. You do all the operations required at one time. So you would install all the valve guides, then ream them all, then grind or face the valve seats, then check the valve contact area, then remove all the valves, clean the head and valves up, and then reasemble into a completed head unit.)
Q: In December I got a new John Packers Bb Cornet and it was fine to start with. But recently the valves have been sticking, especially the 1st and 2nd ones. Even when I put valve oil on them they stick. It's really starting to annoy me, is there any else I can do to prevent this?
If the valves continue to stick after being oiled, then it's time to clean your horn. Remove all the valves (making sure to keep them in order so you don't put them back in the wrong casings) as well as the slides. Fill a sink with warm (not hot) water with liquid dish soap. Wash all the parts gently with a soft clean cloth. There are special brushes available at music stores for cleaning the insides of slides. After cleaning, pat everything dry, apply fresh grease and oil, and reassemble.
Q: How would this affect the functioning of the heart valves? How would this be detected in a routine examination?
If the heart valves are damaged, they may leak, causing regurgitation of blood. For example, if the mitral valve (between the left atrium and left ventricle) leaks, blood will leak back into the left atrium when the ventricle contracts. This reduces the efficiency of the heart contraction. Regurgitation is easily detected by echocardiography. On routine physical exam it may be detected *if* there is enough leakage/ flow abnormality to cause an audible sound, or murmur, that your physician can hear with his/her stethoscope.
Q: hi can any one help me ajust the valves on my 1981 xs650 witch side do i start on and any help will be great i was told it is not hard i an 72 years old and i do all my own tune ups but i forget thanks pop.
Remove both spark plugs. Remove all 4 valve inspection covers. Remove the Generator cover (L crankcase cover, round, 2 screws). It doesn't matter which side you start on. Turn the crankshaft in the direction the engine runs. Depending on which cylinder you're working on, watch that intake valve. When the rocker arm pushes it down, then comes back up, the piston is then moving up on the compression stroke. Continue turning until the piston is at top dead center. You can line up the T mark on the flywheel with the pointer, or look into the spark plug hole to see when the piston is at the top. Adjust the valve clearance for the intake exhaust valves on that cylinder. Repeat for the 2nd cylinder.
Q: How do you take out a valve stem?
No. The cap just keeps dirt, debris and moisture out of the valve stem and core. If you remove the valve core (it screws out with a special tool) then yes, your tire will go flat in a big hurry. To remove the complete valve stem as a unit there is a tool that screws on to the end that you can use to rip it out of the wheel. A new stem has to then be inserted from inside the wheel requiring the tire to be dismounted.
Q: I own a 1982 Pontiac Firebird base model which has recently started leaking oil from its Proportioning Valve. I have looked all over the internet for a replacement, and it turns out GM has discontinued the part. Now im faced with difficult and risky task of attempting to fix it, or turn it over to a repair shop as a last resort. The valve seems to leak out of a small circle with a hole the size of a needle inside which was covered by a rubber gasket. I have no clue what this does, and how to repair it.
First up is that the valve is not leaking oil, it is leaking brake fluid. That is bad. The proportioning valve controls the brake pressure to the rear brakes. Most of the braking is done with the front brakes and without the valve you could lock up the rear brakes on medium to hard stops and the rear end could loose traction, that would be a bad thing on a sharp turn. With that said please replace the valve I have never seen a repair kit for them. Have you looked at to GM for the part? They may also have knowledge on a conversion of the master cylinder with the valve built in.
