Design Features of full welded forged steel ball valve
The body of ball valve is full welded,selects high quality forged material,and adopts the advanced forged forming technology to form two semi-spheres which are welded into a whole in the middle of the body.This welding technology differentiates the ball valve form others,and makes the valve more spherically,so the valve structure is more compacter,lighter and stronger.Besides,the middle direct welding realize highly accurate valve body manufacturing,makes fully and completely sealing between the seat and ball.The full welding instead of bolts completely avoids the outside leakage,so ball valve is the ideal product for under-ground,offshore working platform and under-sea equipments.
Adopting fixed plates or trunnion to support the ball
The top and bottom of the ball is supported by upper and lower fixed plates or stem and trunnion,and the ball is accurately placed in the center of the ball valve to achieve complete seals and precise movements.When plate adopted,the force exerted by the medium to the ball is distributed via the plate to the left and right bodies,so that the stem does not bear the blending moment from the medium,but only the torque from the ball rotation during the opening/closing of the valve.The low-friction PTFE Teflon composite bearings installed between the ball axis and fixed plate and between the stem and the trunnion can absorb ball moving action caused by the pressure of the medium.This structure brings stable actions and easy operations for the ball valves,and the required operation torque can be reduced,so smaller actuators can be used,and the cost is cut down.
ball valve seat is floating structure,means the seat can move along the medium direction,so that the seat can fit against the ball all the time.

Seat design is special double pistons effect structure,it can ensure the seal wherever the medium flows into the ball valve.
（Ⅱ）Seat multistage seal strucute of full welded forged steel ball valve
As following graphic instruction,on seat bearing ring,set two soft sealing rings(A and B)and metal sealing spherical surface which can seal with the ball.Seat ring A is spring loaded,which seals the surface with the ball tightly to the surface to form an initial seat;When there is pressure generated from medium,the piston force is generated to make seal ring A elastically deformed and seal ring B fit the surface of the ball surface due to the piston effect caused by area difference,thus the second seal forms.When the medium pressure is rising.It will generate huge pressure to seal ring A and seal ring B,so the two seals have a greater elastic deformation,then metal seal ball surface compact with ball surface to form the third level of metal to metal seal.
（Ⅲ）Secondary seat seal device of full welded forged steel ball valve
As the above graphic instruction,the secondary seal device(seat grease injection valve)can be chosen according to the actual working condition,medium requirement,seal requirement,etc.Seat ring grease injection valve is a one-way valve,installed on the body,which can prevent the leakage and inject grease under the outside force.When secondary seal is required,there is a grease injecting channel and hole on the seat ring.The grease can form a seal between the seat and the ball,and then stop the leakage.

- Q: what would happen if valve was not adjusted right? and please explain
- The intake valves allow a air/fuel charge to enter the combustion chamber, the exhaust valves allow it to leave. They need to close and seat properly so when the piston comes up on the compression stroke there is plenty of a compressed air/fuel charge for a strong combustion. Without this compressed charge you will have a little fire in the combustion chamber and not an explosion.

- Q: When using seafoam through the PCV valve. Which side contains the vacuum? From the crank case of intake manifold? The brake booster line is very difficult to access and on their site it says I can apply seafoam through the pcv valve.
- The PCV valve scavenges OIL VAPORS from the crankcase tthe VALVE COVER. Remove it and you will FEEL the vacuum when you put your thumb over it. It will POP the small pellet inside it. Foolow up with GUMOUT srpay and use BOTH to clean the THROTTLE BODY and the IDLE AIR CONTROL VALVE, the IAC is resonsible for mixing AIR with injecte4d fuel. A dirty IAC will RUIN mileage and clog up the converter. GOOD LUCK!!!
- Q: 1999 Mercury Cougar in awesome shape no engine problems, and has just under 86000 miles. I bought it recently and the check engine light came on out of nowhere and I realized It was an EGR issue the code was p0401 insufficient flow. I had a mechanic replace the solenoid valve as well as clean all of the carbon gunk off the valve and the light was off, then suddenly POPPED back on, making me really nervous and kind of upset. So today I had a few errands to run and I said I wasn't going to go get it read again until tomorrow, and it just Went off. So Is the car just very sensitive to things and is that why it goes on and off? Or is something wrong? I'm a student who really wants to keep this car nice like I bought it.

- Q: Can a dirty or faulty EGR valve cause overheating. My 2001 PT Cruiser is overheating but only on very hot days and when the air conditioning is on. Back flushed and pressure tested the radiator, changed the thermometer, fluid was low but doesn't seem to be loosing fluid since refilled. Check engine light came on and indicated poor air flow through the EGR valve. Is it worth replacing prior to pulling the radiator to check that for the problem with overheating? Mechanic I trust doesn't think the EGR can cause overheating.
- I don't know the answer either but my 2006 Pontiac Torrent has been overheating when I drive long distance or when I come to a stop with the engine running. When the vehicle is moving the temperature goes back down. Today I just saw that the metal pipe leading from the EGR sensor to the engine was bent to the point it may be closed. I'm not saying that is the problem but I'm suspisious. Prior to noticing the bent pipe, I flushed the engine and changed the thermostat but still the same problem.
- Q: I'm in the process of replacing my dishwasher but I have a problem. I followed the water line from the dishwasher to under my sink and found a red valve that was completely straight, so I turned it to the right as tight as it would go and tried removing the hex nut connecting the line to the dishwasher. - If you have cut off valves below water lines going to the dish washer,turn them off. There should be a hot and cold water line. Red is used to designate the hot water line and blue for the cold water line. If all else fails,turn the water off at the water meter,this turns off the water to the whole house.
- Q: I bought my first car recently. but it has a high idle and smoking problem, i already replaced the spark plugs. I've been reading about the exhaust gas re-circulation valve. but i cant find it. where exactly is the EGR valve located in a 1999 KIA Pride?
- all EGR valves should ( unless a very odd engine) on exhaust manifold. they will have a tube outlet returning back to inlet manifold and a control mechanism on it ( electrical connection) . these valves are known to carbon up and fail both due to soot.heat .wear etc. very possible this is the problem. a temporary fix can occasionally be found by soaking over night in cleaning fluid such as easing oil or petrol etc and washing out but this sort of fix never lasts. be aware these valves are not cheap.
- Q: I have this air canister i want to attach to a homemade Airsoft gun. (please no comments or answers on that).The air canister has an opening on both ends. I thought for simplicity, put a filler valve on one end and a connection to the gun on the other.Exactly what kind of one way filer valve will i need, most of the ones i look at look like propane tank connections and those are for filling and dispensing into the system.

- It is complicated, you need a special tool and the shims to do it correctly. They don't adjust like the other bikes.....
