Design Features of full welded forged steel ball valve

The body of ball valve is full welded, selects high quality forged material, and adopts the advanced forged forming technology to form two semi-spheres which are welded into a whole in the middle of the body. This welding technology differentiates the ball valve form others, and makes the valve more spherically,so the valve structure is more compacter, lighter and stronger.Besides, the middle direct welding realize highly accurate valve body manufacturing, makes fully and completely sealing between the seat and ball. The full welding instead of bolts completely avoids the outside leakage,so ball valve is the ideal product for under-ground,offshore working platform and under-sea equipments.

Adopting fixed plates or trunnion to support the ball

The top and bottom of the ball is supported by upper and lower fixed plates or stem and trunnion, and the ball is accurately placed in the center of the ball valve to achieve complete seals and precise movements. When plate adopted, the force exerted by the medium to the ball is distributed via the plate to the left and right bodies,so that the stem does not bear the blending moment from the medium, but only the torque from the ball rotation during the opening/closing of the valve. The low-friction PTFE Teflon composite bearings installed between the ball axis and fixed plate and between the stem and the trunnion can absorb ball moving action caused by the pressure of the medium. This structure brings stable actions and easy operations for the ball valves, and the required operation torque can be reduced,so smaller actuators can be used, and the cost is cut down.

ball valve seat is floating structure, means the seat can move along the medium direction,so that the seat can fit against the ball all the time.
Double piston effect structure seat of full welded forged steel ball valve
Seat design is special double pistons effect structure,it can ensure the seal wherever the medium flows into the ball valve.

Seat multistage seal strucute of full welded forged steel ball valve
As following graphic instruction,on seat bearing ring, set two soft sealing rings(A and B)and metal sealing spherical surface which can seal with the ball.Seat ring A is spring loaded, which seals the surface with the ball tightly to the surface to form an initial seat; When there is pressure generated from medium, the piston force is generated to make seal ring A elastically deformed and seal ring B fit the surface of the ball surface due to the piston effect caused by area difference, thus the second seal forms. When the medium pressure is rising. It will generate huge pressure to seal ring A and seal ring B,so the two seals have a greater elastic deformation, then metal seal ball surface compact with ball surface to form the third level of metal to metal seal.

Secondary seat seal device of full welded forged steel ball valve
As the above graphic instruction, the secondary seal device(seat grease injection valve)can be chosen according to the actual working condition, medium requirement, seal requirement, etc.Seat ring grease injection valve is a one-way valve, installed on the body, which can prevent the leakage and inject grease under the outside force. When secondary seal is required, there is a grease injecting channel and hole on the seat ring. The grease can form a seal between the seat and the ball, and then stop the leakage.

Q:i need exhaust valves material dimensinons of any car.
Most valves are made of forged steel. The dimensions depend on what car. You can get a factory manual for any car. Call a motor shop to order them. Don't try to make them yourself.
Q:im looking for the egr valve on a 97 mazda 626 its not in top of engine like other cars where can it be?????o and its a 4 cylinder
okay your gonna look at your intake manifold. Then locate where your air intake connects to the throttle body. Look around the throttle body and you should see the egr valve it will be hidden by your air intake but if you look hard enough you'll find it and also if you see in vacuum lines running around there, they will point you in the right direction because your egr valve has two vacuum lines that run to it. hopefully that helps.
Q:give some application of varible throttle valve?
A throttle valve allows continuous control of the rate at which some fluid moves from a region of relatively high pressure into a region of relatively low pressure. An example would be in an automobile engine, where the throttle controls the rate at which air (at or above atmospheric pressure) enters the engine's intake manifold (near vacuum when the throttle is closed.) The throttle in an automobile engine is mechanically linked to the gas pedal (in case you didn't know).
Q:I jsut got my valve cover replaced on my car what does that do?
it covers up the valves to keep the oil in the engine
Q:I have a yamaha cornet and i took the valves out to oil them. i put the valves in, and now only the middle on makes a sound. when i put down no valves, and doesn't make a sound, only when i press down valve two. i think it is the way i put the valves because it has those holes. can some one let me know what is the right way to put the valves in, like explain or show me a video. thanks.
Every trumpet I've used has numbers on the valves. These should be facing you when inserting the valves, valve 1 being closest to you, and valve 3 being closest to the bell.
Q:The timing belt in my 93 honda accord went out going about 45mph,i then paid someone 150 dollars to put in the new timing belt and it began to shake and he told me that the valves were bent.....i went to a local mechanic and he told me that the valves in honda accords dont bend...is this true?and how much is an average cost to repair the valves and pay someone to do all this?can i do it myself?
hey, the same thing happened to my car ok, you can fix it but it will take you a lot of time first, you will need to remove all the components such as alternator, exhaust headers , intake and head cover since you paid to get the belt put on, go ahead and mark it with a white out pen so you know where each tick mark goes and you dont have to pay again now you will need a deep 14 inch socket and a torque wrench ( can be borrowed from autozone ) now remove the 14 bolts carefully and lift the head straight up now that you have the head out, it is a good time to replace the head gasket as well take the head to a local machine shop and have it rectified now in a closed area remove the valves and valve covers and put in new ones then its just a matter of putting everything back together I wish I could help you cuz I know it sucks when this happens But go ahead and buy the Chilton book at your local Autozone and it has step by step instructions I took me about a week the first time I did this, and i was just a novice trying to avoid big charges :)
Q:I have a 2001 Ford Ranger with a 4.0 V6. I recently broke the valve cover bolt on the top right hand corner of the passenger valve cover ( the bolt closest to the belt). 1. Can I drive it like this and since 7 of the 8 bolts are in it should it leak worse. 2. How do I fix it, and 3. How much would this cost to have fixed if I took it somewhere. Thanks for your help
Yes you can drive the vehicle with 1 broken bolt to the valve cover. The valve cover should leak a little due to the lack of tension at the broken bolt. The leak may be minimal. If you remove the valve cover use silicone as a new gasket, you can use extra silicone at the broken bolt. Allow the silicone to dry before tightening the valve cover bolts. The extra silicone may stop any oil to blow by the broken bolt problem solved. The valve cover does nothing more than stopping oil from leaking. A leaky valve cover nothing more than leak will not affect how the vehicle runs. The cost to have the broken bolt replaced should be around $100.00 (if the broken bolt is accessible) The cost is strictly labor (time). About $100.00/an hour. To repair this you have 3 options; 1) You can extract the bolt. This may be very easy depending on the accessibility (can you get a drill over the broken bolt?). If you can drill a whole in the broken bolt, you can lightly tap an extractor into the whole with a hammer. Then with a wrench or a pipe wrench you can try to extract the bolt by turning the extractor counter clockwise. Use WD40 or a catalyst to loosen the broken bolt. The longer the catalyst (WD40) has to work the better. ie- spray the broken bolt 3 or 4 times a day allow the oil time to loosen the broken bolt. You can purchase extractors at any auto parts store for about $15.00 I can't emphasize the importance of WD40 enough!!!! 2) The 2nd option is to use a healy coil. You would need to drill out the bolt to a specific size (the healy coil package will tell you what size drill bit to use). After drilling out the bolt you can insert a healy coil that will allow you to use the same size bolt you just drilled out. The healy coil package will have detailed instructions. This is very easy to do! Healy coils can hold a lot more torque than valve covers require. 3) The third option is to drill out the broken bolt completely tap new threads insert a larger bolt.
Q:Kenmore washer ,cold water trickles in, pressure from faucet OK. Must entire valve be replaced?
You probably can not find a rebuilt valve or get the parts to rebuild one. If needed, it will probably need to be completely replaced. There is a good chance you do not have a valve issue. Turn the water valve off and remove the cold water line at the back of the washer. Inside the hose or on the washer itself, there should be a metal screen in the line that somewhat filters the valve and protects it from getting clogged with sediment. Remove the screen and clean or replace it. If the screen wire is not at the washer end try the valve end of the cold water line. While your there you may want to clean the hot water side also. If you are unable to clean the screen, new ones are available for minimal money at hardware stores. Yes the screen wire is necessary, by removing the line additional sediment may very well go into the valve when you turn on the water and cause a valve problem if you don't have one now.
Q:i have a leak on the front of that valve cover and the oil is going down to the headers,,how can i fix the problem.?how do i install da gasket do i need any special things??thanx for tha help
He could have placed helicoils in to repair that. without the splendid torque the pinnacle will warp and this could actual reason the oil leak.in fact ask him why he did no longer restoration it whilst it became aside. The regulation probable calls so you might furnish him of undertaking to repair it as quickly as.you may no longer could pay for that and you may ask to work out the gaskets he would be removing to interchange returned. If he takes it aside and reuses the gaskets he purely put in there will be issues down the line.
Q:I'm going to replace a valve guide and wondering how I should do it.Should I drill into the existing valve guide to the point it's small enough to pinch with some pliers and pull it out? When I put the new one in, should I use a wooden dowel and an air nailer to pound the guide into place? The more info. the better. It's my first time doing this. Thanks!
Ohhhh man. NO DRILLS. I assume you are referring to an Aluminum Cylinder head. To do it correctly you need a drift punch that has a pilot size of the valve stem, and an outside diameter that is just a few thousands smaller than the guide. Disassemble the head completely, put in Moms oven at the highest setting it will go to ( 5-6 hundred degrees ) Pound old guide out from the combustion camber side. ( have every thing ready to go this FFer will be hot ). Coat new guide with something like STP, put in freezer, carefully align it, then slam it home from the valve train side, don't pussy around, get it in before it attracts the heat of the head, if you stop or it stops you will have to repeat the entire process. If you gall the Aluminum ( say O-**** ) Since you have to hit this thing fairly hard you will need to refinish the inside of the guide with the appropriate reamer. Then refinsh Valve seat ( they never, NEVER line up perfectly )
