Design Features of full welded forged steel ball valve
The body of ball valve is full welded, selects high quality forged material, and adopts the advanced forged forming technology to form two semi-spheres which are welded into a whole in the middle of the body. This welding technology differentiates the ball valve form others, and makes the valve more spherically,so the valve structure is more compacter, lighter and stronger.Besides, the middle direct welding realize highly accurate valve body manufacturing, makes fully and completely sealing between the seat and ball. The full welding instead of bolts completely avoids the outside leakage,so ball valve is the ideal product for under-ground,offshore working platform and under-sea equipments.
Adopting fixed plates or trunnion to support the ball
The top and bottom of the ball is supported by upper and lower fixed plates or stem and trunnion, and the ball is accurately placed in the center of the ball valve to achieve complete seals and precise movements. When plate adopted, the force exerted by the medium to the ball is distributed via the plate to the left and right bodies,so that the stem does not bear the blending moment from the medium, but only the torque from the ball rotation during the opening/closing of the valve. The low-friction PTFE Teflon composite bearings installed between the ball axis and fixed plate and between the stem and the trunnion can absorb ball moving action caused by the pressure of the medium. This structure brings stable actions and easy operations for the ball valves, and the required operation torque can be reduced,so smaller actuators can be used, and the cost is cut down.
ball valve seat is floating structure, means the seat can move along the medium direction,so that the seat can fit against the ball all the time.
(Ⅰ)Double piston effect structure seat of full welded forged steel ball valve
Seat design is special double pistons effect structure,it can ensure the seal wherever the medium flows into the ball valve.
(Ⅱ)Seat multistage seal strucute of full welded forged steel ball valve
As following graphic instruction,on seat bearing ring, set two soft sealing rings(A and B)and metal sealing spherical surface which can seal with the ball.Seat ring A is spring loaded, which seals the surface with the ball tightly to the surface to form an initial seat; When there is pressure generated from medium, the piston force is generated to make seal ring A elastically deformed and seal ring B fit the surface of the ball surface due to the piston effect caused by area difference, thus the second seal forms. When the medium pressure is rising. It will generate huge pressure to seal ring A and seal ring B,so the two seals have a greater elastic deformation, then metal seal ball surface compact with ball surface to form the third level of metal to metal seal.
(Ⅲ)Secondary seat seal device of full welded forged steel ball valve
As the above graphic instruction, the secondary seal device(seat grease injection valve)can be chosen according to the actual working condition, medium requirement, seal requirement, etc.Seat ring grease injection valve is a one-way valve, installed on the body, which can prevent the leakage and inject grease under the outside force. When secondary seal is required, there is a grease injecting channel and hole on the seat ring. The grease can form a seal between the seat and the ball, and then stop the leakage.

- Q: What is the International Standard or other acceptable calculation or table for determine the air supply of pneumatic actuator in shutdown valve 6 to 24.Desired answer will be air flow in SCFM.Thank you.
- Shut down valves I've worked with haven't had an 'Air Flow' for their operation. For the smaller valves, they consist of diaphragm operated valves either held open or closed by pneumatic pressure. The air supply at 25psi to give a diaphragm holding pressure of 15 psi, is via a solenoid valve which dumps the air pressure to either open or close the valve depending upon its function. (That of isolating a system or relieving pressure). The solenoid is actuated by a signal from the shut-down system, and the valve is a 3-way unit which isolates the supply air and vents the pressure off the diaphragm. Other SDV's in my experience, are operated in a similar way but are much larger and are operated by a pneumatic air cylinder and piston with air supplied at 100 psi. Others encountered are ... MOV's...Motor Operated Valves that can be automatically operated from the shutdown system, or Operated Remotely from a safe distance (ROV's).
- Q: Alright. The engine is a 7mgte. The clearances for the skims in the intake side is 0.20mm and the exh side is 0.25mm. What happens if i mixed the shims?
- It does make a difference on which shim goes where! Make sure pushrods are in the right place, i'm not sure on that type of engine but some engines have different lengths for pushrods intake could be different length than exhaust! You could also have a bad lifter.
- Q: please i want theory of MOTORIZED VALVE ? COURSE TITLE : MEASUREMENT AND CONTROL EXP. TITLE : CALIBRATION AND CHARACTERISTICS OF MOTORIZED VALVE
- Your question is too broad for this forum Google your question Motorized valves Motorized actuators Hope this properly answers your question
- Q: My electric water heater relief valve keeps opening 30 min after turning it on.I turned it down to 90F and 30 min later overflow again.when power is off no leak with the water on uld the valve be opening because of over heating?I know it does'nt leak with cold running through it.
- after a few years they just go bad, replace it.
- Q: I recently had an echo and they said their was a slight tricuspid valve leak but it was 19 and anything less than 20 is considered normal. I have no clue what that means. Does any one have and clue on what scale she was talking about. Also she stated that the machine are so sensitive these days that the majority of people are found to have some sort of leak. Is this the case??????
- The tricuspid valve is a valve in your heart that, like any other valve, makes the blood flow in only one direction. When your heart pumps blood into your body, this valve is normally closed so the heart only pumps it in your arteries, and not back in your veins whence it came. When this valve doesn't close shut completely, a little quantity of blood leaks through the little opening there. You can see this with an echocardiography which you said you had done. Yes, the value of 19 is really low, and the fact that the limit to normality is 20, so you're close to it, doesn't mean that you're almost sick. Keep in mind that these limits that doctors have are some guidelines, and they all have a safe zone. Plus, this is not the kind of lesion that evolves, it doesn't mean that as the years go by the little space in your valve will get bigger and bigger - nothing of that sort. It is probably a thing that you had since forever, and you will have it the same your whole life with no problems at all. In the end, let me say that if you are brave enough to go to a doctor (many people aren't, and that really sucks), you should be brave enough to ask him/her what they mean when they say certain stuff, without worrying that your question might be stupid or already answered. You didn't go to med school, and it is the doctor's duty to explain to you what is happening in your body just as it is to diagnose and treat you. Best of luck!
- Q: where is the oil pressure relief valve at in a 2003 ford focus
- The oil pressure relief valve is a type of valve used to control the oil pressure in the car engine. Oil pressure can build up by a motor malfunction, low volume of oil, instrument or equipment failure, or fire. Basically, oil pressure is relieved by allowing the pressurized oil to flow out from an auxiliary passage system. The relief valve is designed or set to open at a predetermined set pressure to protect pressure vessels and other equipment from being subjected to pressures that exceed their design limits. When the set pressure is exceeded, the relief valve becomes the path of least resistance as the valve is forced open and a portion of the fluid is diverted through the auxiliary route. In the 2003 Ford Focus, 3.8 engine, the oil pressure valve is located on the back of the timing cover above where the oil pump bolts up... don't install it backwards you will have the same problem... while everything is dismantled, I suggest you change your oil pump, also; and you will get a new pressure relief valve with it. I hope this helps Papaw
- Q: I opened the OPD valve on the BBQ propane tank and propane spray out, I have heard that propane should come out only when it is hooked. Is there something wrong with the propane tank?
- extremely tough stuff seek onto yahoo that will will help
- Q: Carbon keeps building up in the EGR valve. WHY?? and HOW DO I PREVENT IT? The engine is in PERFECT shape otherwise.
- I have one too. I replaced the catalytic converter and still happened. I found out that when the EGR is replaced, you should also replace the fuel distributor. It is also under the intack manafold. Not the ingniton distributor. After that, it never happend again.
- Q: Where is the fast idle valve located on the dx or ex model year 89-91??? I found the fast idle on my si model but its different on the base model for some reason.
- base models have no fast idle valve. if the rpm are going up and down inspect the water level in the system and have it bled. there might be air in it. if you are messing with the timing or adjusting the idle you are doing something wrong. do not adjust the throttle cable to adjust the idle. it will throw off the tps sensor. use the idle screw. if adjusting idle at the idle screw or timing don't forget to jump the ECU or you will waste your time. btw you know that the IACV needs to be unplugged when adjusting the idle right? no punn intended just checking.
- Q: why can't i just use solenoid valves hooked to a small bank of relays(using relay logic to control operation) connected to thermostats to control a multi zone boiler system? it would work, but can i do it, why must i use expensive zone valves?
- Its just an educated guess but I would say it would cause system shock if a valve just snapped shut as against closing gently. Assuming the system was shutting down as a zone valve shuts the control switch opens and turns off the plant whilst the valve is still partly open. With a solenoid unless you fit a timer to pre shut off the plant then shut off the solenoid you would probably cause some plant damage. Also by the time you have wired all that lot up you may as well do the job with a zone valve.
