Design Features of full welded forged steel ball valve

The body of ball valve is full welded,selects high quality forged material,and adopts the advanced forged forming technology to form two semi-spheres which are welded into a whole in the middle of the body.This welding technology differentiates the ball valve form others,and makes the valve more spherically,so the valve structure is more compacter,lighter and stronger.Besides,the middle direct welding realize highly accurate valve body manufacturing,makes fully and completely sealing between the seat and ball.The full welding instead of bolts completely avoids the outside leakage,so ball valve is the ideal product for under-ground,offshore working platform and under-sea equipments.

Adopting fixed plates or trunnion to support the ball

The top and bottom of the ball is supported by upper and lower fixed plates or stem and trunnion,and the ball is accurately placed in the center of the ball valve to achieve complete seals and precise movements.When plate adopted,the force exerted by the medium to the ball is distributed via the plate to the left and right bodies,so that the stem does not bear the blending moment from the medium,but only the torque from the ball rotation during the opening/closing of the valve.The low-friction PTFE Teflon composite bearings installed between the ball axis and fixed plate and between the stem and the trunnion can absorb ball moving action caused by the pressure of the medium.This structure brings stable actions and easy operations for the ball valves,and the required operation torque can be reduced,so smaller actuators can be used,and the cost is cut down.

As following graphic instruction,on seat bearing ring,set two soft sealing rings(A and B)and metal sealing spherical surface which can seal with the ball.Seat ring A is spring loaded,which seals the surface with the ball tightly to the surface to form an initial seat;When there is pressure generated from medium,the piston force is generated to make seal ring A elastically deformed and seal ring B fit the surface of the ball surface due to the piston effect caused by area difference,thus the second seal forms.When the medium pressure is rising.It will generate huge pressure to seal ring A and seal ring B,so the two seals have a greater elastic deformation,then metal seal ball surface compact with ball surface to form the third level of metal to metal seal.

Q: when there is fire in the building, the solenoid valve is activated but what happen inside the cylinder actally?
If the pressure in any one zone is different than the other zones it could be one of two reasons; either the pressure is high (usually due to one or more sprinkler heads not poping up), or its low (usually due to a leak in the pipes). Something that could cause low pressure in all the zones are an obstruction in the water line above the valves (unlikely), or a hole in the line above the valve (the water would be filling the valve box and causing damage to the lawn wherever it is located), or leaks in all the lines (again would be easy to identify from the excess water in the ground at the source of the leak). Lastly the valve itself could potentially be faulty. The solenoid inside the valve holds the valve open when electricity is applied across it. If the wires to it are damaged; if the solenoid is bad; or if the valve has any rust or dirt inside that could cause a lower than normal amount of water flow.
Q: so do v-6 engines mean 6 cylinders right?, but what are valves? sometimes they are like double the cylinders (12 valve v6). what do they do, and cars that have like 2.5L does that mean how much fuel is injected and does more mean more power?on a side note, what kind of engine is the evo x? is it 4 cylinder? but has really good technology in it and is that how it has such high bhp?also if anyone knows, i kinda know what torque is but can someone explain in laymen terms? does more=better?
Yes v6 means 6 cylinders (pistons). Each pistons need to have gas come in and out and so the valves open and close to do exactly that (breath). There are at least 2 valves per piston - one (set) for exhaust and another for intake. Sometime to make it breath easier, there are 2 valves on each set. The 2.5L mean 2.5 liters (the measurement of the pistons) or basically the engine. The larger the displacement the more powerful (theoretically). Of course the larger the displacement the more fuel need to be injected. The exception is TURBO charged engines which stuff extra air (and extra fuel) so even a small engine take more fuel than equal non-turbo engie. The Evo uses much more than high tech engine to be that good. Besides being powerful, it uses the computer to divide the power to all 4 wheels in such a way to keep the car pulling even in a hard turn. === The TORQUE is the actual measure of engine power. The horse power is a translation of torque into something that people understand (horse - power). Good Luck...

Q: Need some info. Ok, four valves per cylinder is better than two valves per cylinder. Fine, why did Ford REVERT to only 3 valves (my guess is to save cost SOHC)? Audi and VW are using five valves per cylinder on some cars, does this offer any advantage over a four valve engine? Maserati even experimented with a six valve per cylinder!!!! Think of an engine as an air pump - obviously, we want the least amount of restriction for the incoming air and also the least amount for exhausting the compressed air. The ideal situation would be to remove the head during the intake stroke and put it back on during the compression stroke, but, obviously, this isn't possible. On a naturally aspirated engine, the intake is the most critical because the air is moved only by a relatively small difference in pressures. The exhaust stroke, on the other hand, is aided greatly by the super heated temperature and rapid expansion of the gasses. Two intake and one exhaust valve seems to be the most practical and efficient solution - adding more vales means smaller valves and an increase in the overall complexity. I seriously doubt that Maserati ever abandoned ANY automotive idea due to cost restraints. It's far more likely that adding more valves than three or four simply resulted in diminishing returns. Sometimes the allure of a new buzz phrase is nothing more than a marketing ploy - a 16 valve, DOHC, four cylinder engine, for example, is a pretty impressive resume for an engine, regardless of whether it actually is the optimum performance set up or not.

1. okorder /.. that will tell you what to do to keep yourself healthy and help keep te regurgitation mild. Thankfully its just a mild heart problem, so you should be fine for many years. Im 16 and i was born with Aortic Stenosis, and a Bicuspid aortic valve, which led me to develop Aortic Regurgitation(leaky) and an Enlarged aorta. I havent had surgery yet, but my conditions are getting slowly worse and in a few years i will need surgery. I go to a camp for kids with heart disease, and some of my friends have very severe heart problems that cause them to get heart transplants, or tons and tons of surgery and some have even died. :( So if you have any questions or anything feel free to email me(go through my profile)

if from HOME, there is no way, not unless you are experiencing already ankle edema and dyspnea or shortness of breath, however, these signs and symptoms are for massive valvular damage already. If you really wana rule out bad heart valve, consult a doctor as early as you can. Because bad heart valves can lead you to grave compications such as left and right sided heart failure. Heart palpitations and arrythmia may not be due to bad valves, however they do exist in lates stages of valvular damage, specifically atrial fibrillation in severe mitral valve disease. Better consult a doctor! Upon cnsulatation, the doctor will ask you lots of questions on previous infections particularly sore throat or tonsillopharyngitis because it is the most common cause of valve damage. Valve damage can either be congenital or autoimmune.
Q: I noticed when I pulled my pcv valve off the valve cover the entire guts were missing. what would this make the car run like?
It would just make a bunch of oil pool up in the intake. If it was plugged it could damage seals.
Q: When looking at the head on my chevy 350 how do I determine which is the intake valve and which is the exhaust valve?
Intake valve will line up with the intake port from the intake manifold and the exhaust valve will line up with the exhaust port going to the exhaust manifold or header....intake is usually larger of the two.
Q: I've been working on cars since around march of 2012. I new. I have a set of 305 heads that were really dirty. It came from a 79 camaro that never had an Oil change. I took the valves out and the valves are pretty burnt. I was wondering If I cleaned them up would they still be good to use? The edges aren't rough or anything. Just let me know what is need to know please. The heads I know are still good.
Any automotive machine shop can inspect the face and straightness if the valves to see if they can be re-ground and re-used.
