Design Features of full welded forged steel ball valve

The body of ball valve is full welded,selects high quality forged material,and adopts the advanced forged forming technology to form two semi-spheres which are welded into a whole in the middle of the body.This welding technology differentiates the ball valve form others,and makes the valve more spherically,so the valve structure is more compacter,lighter and stronger.Besides,the middle direct welding realize highly accurate valve body manufacturing,makes fully and completely sealing between the seat and ball.The full welding instead of bolts completely avoids the outside leakage,so ball valve is the ideal product for under-ground,offshore working platform and under-sea equipments.

Adopting fixed plates or trunnion to support the ball

The top and bottom of the ball is supported by upper and lower fixed plates or stem and trunnion,and the ball is accurately placed in the center of the ball valve to achieve complete seals and precise movements.When plate adopted,the force exerted by the medium to the ball is distributed via the plate to the left and right bodies,so that the stem does not bear the blending moment from the medium,but only the torque from the ball rotation during the opening/closing of the valve.The low-friction PTFE Teflon composite bearings installed between the ball axis and fixed plate and between the stem and the trunnion can absorb ball moving action caused by the pressure of the medium.This structure brings stable actions and easy operations for the ball valves,and the required operation torque can be reduced,so smaller actuators can be used,and the cost is cut down.

As following graphic instruction,on seat bearing ring,set two soft sealing rings(A and B)and metal sealing spherical surface which can seal with the ball.Seat ring A is spring loaded,which seals the surface with the ball tightly to the surface to form an initial seat;When there is pressure generated from medium,the piston force is generated to make seal ring A elastically deformed and seal ring B fit the surface of the ball surface due to the piston effect caused by area difference,thus the second seal forms.When the medium pressure is rising.It will generate huge pressure to seal ring A and seal ring B,so the two seals have a greater elastic deformation,then metal seal ball surface compact with ball surface to form the third level of metal to metal seal.

Q: What is the best procedure to check/adjust valve clearances? This engine is a perkins diesel inside of a cat generator. I know that he exhaust valve is .018 and the intake valve is .008.

Q: the valve stem?
In tubeless tyres the valve is fitted to the wheel rim itself, so you can remove the valve and replace it with a new one in order to re-use the wheel. Tyres or wheels that have an inner tube fitted don't have the valve on the wheel itself it is connected to the inner tube, and can be easily removed you just put a new inner tube in. If you just want to take the valve out and use that, you would be better off buying a new one because they are not expensive. If you have no choice then you will only be able to re-use a valve from a tubeless tyre as the other type has the vale permanently attached the inner tube. To remove the valve from a wheel rim you need to first take the tyre off (usually with the help of a machine, as they can be quite tough) and then push the valve out off the hole from the back as there is a lip and is difficult to do it from the other way then just refit the tyre.
Q: My 97 Tahoe has a leaking A/C pressure valve. I went to charge the system yesterday, and when I finished I took the hoses from the charging gauges off. The pressure side valve leaked. I pressed it down with a small screwdriver yet still couldn't get it to seat. I looks like it might have a damaged seal around the valve.Can I replace the valve? And if so, how. Or do I have to replace the entire hose assemble as they connect to the compressor?Thanks
you can replace the valve--but when you take the old one out so will all the gas. If it just leaks a little the air tight cover cap should suffice to avoid this proceedure.
Q: I have a mountain bike that my brothers left me. the tire in the front is a normal s valve, the one in the back is a presta valve. now this was ok because it was fully pumped up, but then it popped on the road, so i got a new tire ad put it on and was all ready to pump it up but when i tried to pump it no air would go in. so i looked at it a while and i figured out the top unscrews, so i unscrewed it and put the pump back on and started pumping, but after a while i figured out that no air was going in the tire and now i'm very confused.
Be careful pumping prestas. If you're not using a pump with a hose, much back and forth movement of the valve stem will cause it to split. In fact, that may have already happened and that's why no air is going in the tube.

dio, yes, if your sprinkler control valve is not opening a zone valve in the automatic mode, then manually turn the solenoid on the zone valve counterclockwise, it sprinklers come on , then you have confirmed a bad solenoid. these can be purchased seperately or another oprtion is a complete zone valve dio, well, if water is flowing thru then the solenoid is not sealing on the zone valve body itslef. unless there is debris between the solenoid washer and zone valve body, then sounds like a bad solenoid...

The mitral valve between the left atrium and left ventricle only has two cusps and it works fine. Since the valve going into the left ventricle has two valves, it stands to reason that a similar valve going out of the left ventricle would function similarly if it was the same size and shape. The number of cusps is not entirely related to how well the valve functions. In your case, the opening of the aortic valve is slightly smaller than normal, but clearly capable of passing an adequate amount of blood. The stenosis alone may be the only problem caused by the valve. The stenosis you have likely creates some back pressure when the left ventricle contracts. The heart compensates partly for the back pressure but this prolonged compensation wears on the heart valve a little more than normal. So, you end up with a heart that more or less functions normally but the back pressure and compensation cause the heart valve to wear out faster than normal. Its a gradual effect. The type of damage done from this circumstance is not something that changes rapidly. Evaluating the condition every three years is still probably a very cautious approach and its not certain that the stenosis will ever become a significant problem even if you live well beyond 70 years.
Q: Ok. I have to ask cause I have been in hospital all weekend after having a moment on saturday when my heart decided to start racing. Woke up 4.30am on saturday morning cause of blood test which kinda showed I could have had a heart attack which was scarey and though I was discharged today I got told I had a leaking aortic valve. It just means that one of the valves in your heart doesn't completely close. So when your heart pumps blood it doesn't do it as effectively. I have a leaky mitral valve and I have no symptoms. I just have to take antibiotics anytime I have dental work done. Bacteria from your mouth like to mess up your valves if they are already leaky. But it almost never happens. It's just a precaution. You really need to talk to your doctor about what he found. He needs to explain whether it's serious or nothing to be worried about.
Q: are the carborator reed valves supposed to be open or closed on a 1999 yz 250?dirt bike
reed valves depend on engine vacuum to operate. the reed valves are closed when the engine is off and as the engine load goes up, it requires more fuel so engine vacuum goes up causing the reed valves to open more, letting in more fuel. So, is the engine running or off?. are the reeds bent? if they are, they might be straightened if u use care. they break ez.

who cares, a toilet fill valve only costs a few bucks. as long as it opens and closes it's a good valve. if it only lasts for a year then it's a piece of junk and you should try another brand. it's not a major decision
