The body of ball valve is full welded,selects high quality forged material,and adopts the advanced forged forming technology to form two semi-spheres which are welded into a whole in the middle of the body.This welding technology differentiates the ball valve form others,and makes the valve more spherically,so the valve structure is more compacter,lighter and stronger.Besides,the middle direct welding realize highly accurate valve body manufacturing,makes fully and completely sealing between the seat and ball.The full welding instead of bolts completely avoids the outside leakage,so ball valve is the ideal product for under-ground,offshore working platform and under-sea equipments.

Adopting fixed plates or trunnion to support the ball

The top and bottom of the ball is supported by upper and lower fixed plates or stem and trunnion,and the ball is accurately placed in the center of the ball valve to achieve complete seals and precise movements.When plate adopted,the force exerted by the medium to the ball is distributed via the plate to the left and right bodies,so that the stem does not bear the blending moment from the medium,but only the torque from the ball rotation during the opening/closing of the valve.The low-friction PTFE Teflon composite bearings installed between the ball axis and fixed plate and between the stem and the trunnion can absorb ball moving action caused by the pressure of the medium.This structure brings stable actions and easy operations for the ball valves,and the required operation torque can be reduced,so smaller actuators can be used,and the cost is cut down.

You didn't say what motor in the taurus but most had a 3.0 2 valve motor and there is no bleed valve... refill the coolant, leave the radiator cap off the bottle, start the car, turn the heater on and fan on high with the air direction pointing to vents (usually first one on the left after the off switch) run the engine till the heater gets hot (reving at 2,000 rpm does help)... when it gets hot, it's bled out... That's how most Fords and this taurus for sure is done
Q:We had a sprinkler zone that did not send much water to sprinkler heads. Checked the spring on the solenoid. We took off the top of the valve and rinsed gasket and parts below – put back together. The zone then worked. However I then noticed that the valve that does not shut off completely – water meter shows usage. I turn off water as it comes from the house.We then replaced the solenoid, the zone would not turn on. When back to the old solenoid. I switched wires at the timer and valve, it started, but when the cycle was through there still was water going through the system. Put wires back to their original locations.Space is crowded and looks tricky to replace valve. Would like advice on that for next year. However my main concern is when we shut down for the winter. We manually run each of the 8 stations and blow out the water. Will the bad valve cause a problem?
we had the same problem last week. the valve was leaking allowing water to seep through. luckily it is a current valve and all the man did was replace the top part and that solved the problem. 75 bucks and he also checked out the entire system for proper operation.

You might not need new valves or valve guides. Mitsubishis, along with many other vehicles, use hydraulic lifters which give off a ticking sound. They're located between the rocker arm, or in the rocker arm, and the head of the valve. It's very common and will not harm the engine. However, if the sound you're hearing is more of a rattling, like putting some nuts and bolts in a glass jar, you may need to pull the valve cover off and inspect for yourself to make sure that the rocker arms do not have any play to them while they are pushing on the valves. If there is any play in the rocker side to side, you may need to replace those rockers. However, if there is any play up and down you may just need to replace the lifter. To better check if you need new valves or valve guides run through this checklist: Are you burning oil? Have you done a compression test (both wet and dry)? And if so, were the compression numbers within spec? Have you felt a loss in power/idle quality/gas mileage? Is your oil level correct/using the correct oil/non-FRAM oil filter? At your next oil change, instead of using the recommended 5W-30 engine oil, try switching to something a little heavier, such as 10W-30, to cancel out the effect of possible lifter tick. Do not use a FRAM oil filter if you have in the past since they're filters tend to have additives that are unnecessary and may cause the engine harm.

Could be.. Also could be dirty. Easy fix, remove the valve and spray carb cleaner in the hole.. Using a small brush, clean the bore that the valve rides up and down in. Also, inspect the valve while it is off the manifold. Harder fix: After cleaning the bore, replace valve with brand new one. Your car will have to relearn the idle after starting with the new valve or after you put the old one back in.. Q:What exactly are valves and cylinders when talking about car engines? Say a car has 3 cylinders or 8 valves for example.
There are intake valves and exhaust valves. On the intake side, the intake valve opens which lets the fuel/air mixture into the combusion chamber. At some point (measured in degrees of crank rotation) the intake valve closes, the air/fuel mixture is compressed and ignited by the spark plug. Then the spent mixture exits the cylinder when the exhaust valve opens. Valve configuration varies somewhat, but regardless of how many valves there are there will always be at least one intake and one exhaust valve. Some cylinder heads have 2 intake and 2 exhaust valves which is what is described as the 4-valve per cylinder setup. Regarding Car Cylinders, the answerer says Cylinders in a car engine are pretty much like rowers in a boat. But they are not. Rowers always row in synch with each other. Cylinders are made to be out-of-sync for smoother operation. The more cylinders you have, the smoother the engine runs. Compare a 1-cylinder minibike with a 4-cylinder motorcycle (both air-cooled), or a 4-cylinder to an eight... big difference in smoothness.
