Design Features of full welded forged steel ball valve

The body of ball valve is full welded, selects high quality forged material, and adopts the advanced forged forming technology to form two semi-spheres which are welded into a whole in the middle of the body. This welding technology differentiates the ball valve form others, and makes the valve more spherically,so the valve structure is more compacter, lighter and stronger.Besides, the middle direct welding realize highly accurate valve body manufacturing, makes fully and completely sealing between the seat and ball. The full welding instead of bolts completely avoids the outside leakage,so ball valve is the ideal product for under-ground,offshore working platform and under-sea equipments.

Adopting fixed plates or trunnion to support the ball

The top and bottom of the ball is supported by upper and lower fixed plates or stem and trunnion, and the ball is accurately placed in the center of the ball valve to achieve complete seals and precise movements. When plate adopted, the force exerted by the medium to the ball is distributed via the plate to the left and right bodies,so that the stem does not bear the blending moment from the medium, but only the torque from the ball rotation during the opening/closing of the valve. The low-friction PTFE Teflon composite bearings installed between the ball axis and fixed plate and between the stem and the trunnion can absorb ball moving action caused by the pressure of the medium. This structure brings stable actions and easy operations for the ball valves, and the required operation torque can be reduced,so smaller actuators can be used, and the cost is cut down.

ball valve seat is floating structure, means the seat can move along the medium direction,so that the seat can fit against the ball all the time.
Double piston effect structure seat of full welded forged steel ball valve
Seat design is special double pistons effect structure,it can ensure the seal wherever the medium flows into the ball valve.

Seat multistage seal strucute of full welded forged steel ball valve
As following graphic instruction,on seat bearing ring, set two soft sealing rings(A and B)and metal sealing spherical surface which can seal with the ball.Seat ring A is spring loaded, which seals the surface with the ball tightly to the surface to form an initial seat; When there is pressure generated from medium, the piston force is generated to make seal ring A elastically deformed and seal ring B fit the surface of the ball surface due to the piston effect caused by area difference, thus the second seal forms. When the medium pressure is rising. It will generate huge pressure to seal ring A and seal ring B,so the two seals have a greater elastic deformation, then metal seal ball surface compact with ball surface to form the third level of metal to metal seal.

Secondary seat seal device of full welded forged steel ball valve
As the above graphic instruction, the secondary seal device(seat grease injection valve)can be chosen according to the actual working condition, medium requirement, seal requirement, etc.Seat ring grease injection valve is a one-way valve, installed on the body, which can prevent the leakage and inject grease under the outside force. When secondary seal is required, there is a grease injecting channel and hole on the seat ring. The grease can form a seal between the seat and the ball, and then stop the leakage.

Q:where is the shuttle valve located in 03 land rover discovery hse ?
The shuttle valve is a part of the brake modulator this problem is addressed by the replacement of the brake modulator and that's a $1,500.00 dollar part plus labor but I believe that they sell a shuttle valve repair kit for around $100.00 dollars.....
Q:I am trying to remove my supply valve behind my toilet to replace but the valve wont come off. I am using a cresent wrench to turn it and it turns but does not unscrew. How can I remove this piece?
Stop! I'm assuming you've got threaded pipe and not soldered joints here, You need a wrench on the pipe as well. Allowing that pipe to turn can loosen the connection in the wall an cause a leak if you haven't already done so.
Q:Why would oil be leaking from a blow off valve?i own a 05' gti 1.8t, i have had the blow off valve for about a year now, its a HKS SSQV, but i just revently noticed that when it blows off, there is a spray of oil that comes out..... why would it be leaking oil through the blow off valve? i know VW dont really go well with blow off valves, but it hasnt given me any problems until recently....
vw has a pcv system it recirculates the crankcase air into the intake, your car if fairly new, but this is most likely the problem. at least its the most simple to check / fix. i dought the turbo is gone if its the stock ko3s, they can take a beating. the pcv valve is the black saucer shaped peice (kinda looks like the stock diverter valve) , its in the TIP by your N75 valve. these get filled with oil and start to dump in into the intake. did you switch the set up to run the BOV on the cold side? like off the throtal body hose? if so, this could STILL be the problem. if you take off your lower inercooler pipe and look inside for oil build up. and pull the n75 valve out and check it for oil. id think aboout replacing the pcv valve with a catch can. your real problem is yet to be noticed if your dumping the air out and not recirculating it into the intake, the car WILL RUN RICH, as it reads the air it adds fuel, but with a BOV your loosing some air BUT keeping the fuel. so id expect to see some bad cats and o2 sensors good luck
Q:I have a D16Z6 SOHC VTEC engine in my 93 Honda Del Sol.Ive been told that the D16Z6 came with 2 different valve covers. One style cover says Honda on the top and another also says VTEC.I have the one that just says honda but I want the other put on.What would I need to swap them, and where would I get them?and a roundabout price

Q:I just got a new set of tired 2 months ago. The last 3 weeks I've had a separate tire go flat (3 in total). The last 3 the repair company said they were caused by cracked valve stems. So after the 3rd time it happened they replaced all valve stems on each tire. Now today I just got a 4th flat. That's 1 each week for the past 4 weeks. I'm taking into the shop this afternoon for them to inspect the tire. I suspect they will say it's again the valve stem. Any help on what I can do or what to say or ask to get them to fix the problem instead of just putting another bandaid on it? I'm very concerned about my safety and it really sucks that everytime i get into my car, I have to wonder, am i going to get a flat tire today...
Any reputable tire shop will install new valve stems when mounting new tires. This really sounds like somebody is messin with you. Anyone else in your area having similar problems?
Q:Also, Is a pneumatic control valve an ATC or an ATO; is it a FO or FC valve?
Atc Valve
Q:I got a '99 bmw 740il that is leaking and burning oil. It shoots smoke out the exhaust when i first start it from burning oil. And the car misfires when idling, i did a tune up and the spark plugs were soaked in oil causing the tune up not to help anything for long cause it was missfiring the next day. Does this sound like the valve stem seals? I bought new valve cover gaskets and grommets and im gonna replace those this weekend, im hoping that will help. Comments please
The symptom of bad valve stem seals is blue smoke after sitting overnight. But once that smoke is gone, a bad valve stem seal won't have any effect on engine running or idling. And it certainly won't cause a misfire. Worn valve guides can do all those things. You have far more serious problems than just valve stem seals. Get a wet/dry compression test and a cylinder leakdown test to isolate the problem to either valves or rings.
Q:whats the location of the pcv valve on on a 2001 bmw 740il (e38)
In front of the engine slightly to the left and lower area of the throttle valve. It is a round black plastic canister supported by a teardrop shaped rubber with a cable connector at the top and 2 hose connections at the opposite end of the cable connector which are perpendicular to each other. BMW calls it the tank vent valve.
Q:instead of just buying a replacement, is there an easy way off the valve to check if it's still good?
dio, yes, if your sprinkler control valve is not opening a zone valve in the automatic mode, then manually turn the solenoid on the zone valve counterclockwise, it sprinklers come on , then you have confirmed a bad solenoid. these can be purchased seperately or another oprtion is a complete zone valve dio, well, if water is flowing thru then the solenoid is not sealing on the zone valve body itslef. unless there is debris between the solenoid washer and zone valve body, then sounds like a bad solenoid...
Q:I have a 98 Mitsubishi Mirage, seems there is a valve cover oil leak, i know this can be easily fixed by replacing the gasket.. but how will i know if the leak isn't from the valve cover gasket . Is the cylinder head gasket a major issue also .. if its not really the valve cover thats producing the oil leak should i not worry and just replace the valve cover gasket .?
The valve cover gasket is not as big of a deal, if it gets really bad you will just start smelling a lot of burining oil. The head gasket can become a major issue, especially since coolant also flows through more internal part of the gasket. The question you need to ask is if the leak is closer to the top (valve cover) or farther down the block?
