FAQ of Cast Steel Check Valve:

Q1:I can’t find the type of steel check valve which I need. what can I do?

The chart above only lists out some common composition of steel check valve parts. We may provide other different parts material composition according to the customer's request or the actual valve working condition.

Q2:Which certification do your products pass?

  Our products are in accordance with ISO 9001ISO 14001API 6AAPI 6DTS CEAPI607/6FA/BS6755.

Q:It has been known that although tissue valves have lower rates of thrombotic episodescompared with mechanical valves, they are difficult to procure, and their longevity has not yet been proven. Is this true as of 2007? Thanks for answering.
I was told that the type of replacement you get often relates to your life expectancy. This is because while medical teams say they will replace a replacement once you have had the surgery you will realize its not a choice to make if there is any other option. They remove the hart and fix it up and put it back in its no fun. If you have a chance of outlasting your tissue valve get a baked carbon valve and join carbonvalvers.
Q:ok so my 1993 bonneville started shaking and its smells like gas fumes in the car, so i cant drive it cause i have a newborn baby.so i took it to the dealership, they said codes 53,54,55,42,66 came up. they said i needed a new cadiletic converter, so i went to a local muffler shop. they said it was glowing cause it was so hot and said that wasnt the problem.i called the dealership back and they said they cleaned the egr vavle but said maybe it needs to be replaced, well before i spend any money i wanted to get everyones opinion, the car drive great, only shake when ur at idle. and smells awful inside uld this be the egr valve ?
A catalytic converter will glows red hot when raw fuel is introduced directly into it. The dealer is incorrect in saying that there is a problem with the converter itself. The problem is stemming from either the fuel or ignition system which would allow unburned fuel to pass through to the converter. Some possibilities are improper ignition timing, fouled spark plugs, air pump failure, Even though the catalytic converter glowing red hot is not caused from a clog if the converter is operated too long at a high temperature, its substrate will melt and re-harden. This would in turn cause exhaust blockage. Fix the fuel problem first and if the engine is still running rough (without a red hot converter), then it will need to be replaced.
Q:I had to replace the gaskets on my valve cover only to discover that the valve cover had developed a hole due to oxidation. I waited a week for a new valve cover to come in and left the engine exposed. Should I have any issues? I mean its covered but its still outside. Should I pour some oil on the exposed part of the engine? Its been already about a week.
A clean dry towel over the exposed valve train assembly will keep the dust out. A closed hood will not stop dust from flying through the fender-wells, under the car and into the engine compartment. I have news for you: An electrochemical reaction is called corrosion. Your valve covers don't fall within that category. Valve covers are usually of stamped steel from gosh know where. I've seen and heard of oil pans rusting through on Ford cars and trucks but your issue is a first. I have a pair of 48 year old 300 hp. 327 stamped steel valve covers in the cellar with not a spec of rust on them. Along with that two pair of chrome 427 Chevrolet valve covers that are 45 years old with no rust. America has gone to hell in a hand basket when they started buying outsourced boiler plate steel.
Q:I have a 2006 saturn vue that has a valve tap in the engine. The car has about 100k miles on it now. I'm the original owner of the car, and I've had the problem with the valve tap since about 50k miles, and even when taking it to saturn dealerships, I was told it was nothing and the car was fine. Now that I know what it is (I took it to another mechanic that was a friend who went over it with a 'fine tooth comb') I ahve done research and know what can go wrong a little too late :(So my question: My car only makes the tapping sound for about 5 or so minutes when i turn the car on, then it goes away and you can't hear it anymore, is this usual for a valve tap?
you sure if its valves or lifters? valves will cause a lot more problems than just a tap. lifters on the other hand will cause a noise but usually no major damage if its just a tap. lifters in a modern engine are pressurized with engine oil to fill the clearance between the lifters and the camshaft to ensure proper valve opening. if the lifter has a clogged oil port then no or little oil can enter the lifter, causing a gap between the lifter and camshaft. even a small gap will cause a noticeable noise, especially when the oil is cold and thick at start up. its a saturn so its most likely an overhead cam setup, try a high quality oil treatment and a little thicker oil. if it keeps happening then listen to the lower half of the engine. if its louder down there then you have more problems than valves.
Q:Today I found out I have the heart disease Mitral Valve Prolapse. I'm 13, I weigh 109 pounds and I'm 5'8. I'm also pretty skinny too. I know this is a pretty common disease but should I be worried at all?
Normally, no it is not something to worry about overtly. However if you are not treated properly and not monitored then things can get worse. Your weight actually fits in with MVP as most people with MVP have a low BMI and are quite lean and skinny. If your doctor has put you on a care programme, great if not, voice your concerns to them!
Q:We have a 4 station sprinkler set-up. On the 4 station (last station to run) the Sprinkler headers are struggle to pop up water. From inside the house I hear the valve making a noise, that continues through out the entire run cycle. Any ideas on what causes these 2 problems to occur?
Sounds like you have a valve that is not opening up fully. Is the noise coming from within the valve box or from the plumbing inside the house? I am assuming that it is coming from the valve box itself. If the valve is not opeing fully at that 4th station, the low volume of water flowing through the opening is causing a humming sound. And, with a low volume of water entering the lateral lines, your last station heads will not popup all the way, or may not popup at all. Check to make sure that you have no soft, wet, mushy areas on the turf in the last station area that would indicate a lateral line breakage or leek. If you do not see this occuring, you more than likely need to change out the valve and replace it with a new one for that particular system... Hope this answers your question. ...Billy Ray
Q:As title. What's an easy way to remember: mitral valve leaflets are anterior and posterior leaflets; tricuspid leaflets are anterior, posterior, and septal (medial); aortic valve leaflets are left, right, posterior leaflets; pulmonary valve leaflets are left, right, anterior leaflets? It's easy to remember all but one valve (mitral) have three leaflets each. Physically aortic root sits behind pulmonary trunk, I guess that makes it easy to remember aortic valve has left, right, Posterior; and that pulmonary valve has left, right, anterior leaflets. Where I'm running out of ideas now is how to remember tricuspid has anterior, posterior and septal leaflets... Please help.Thanks.
The tricuspid valve has three leaflets which are thin and membranous with commissures that appear more like indentations than true commissures. The TV apparatus is similar to the mitral valve but has greater variability and thinner leaflets. The three leaflets are the anterior, septal and posterior leaflets, with the anterior and septal being larger than the posterior leaflet. TV= tricuspid valve tri-cuspid=3(three leaflets) leaflets=3leaflets Tricuspid: Having three flaps or cusps. The valve that is called the tricuspid valve is situated between the right atrium and right ventricle and permits blood to flow only from the atrium into the ventricle. The aortic valve in the heart also has three cusps. Tricuspid valve (Anat.), the valve, consisting of three triangular membranous flaps, at the opening of the right auricle into the right ventricle in the heart of most mammals; -- sometimes called the tricuspid valves, each flap being regarded as a valve. Take care as always
Q:What exactly is a flow valve for an ice maker on a refrigerator? Any idea what it would cost to replace it? Is it easy to replace?
google repairing flow valve on ice maker it is there.
Q:Between these two Blow off valves around the same price, what would be the best choice for a pt cruiser.
The Mopar Performance blow off valve is really going to be your best bet if the two are roughly the same price. The reason I say that is because the Mopar unit is designed to fit onto that car, therefore it is engineered to release excess pressure at a safe level for that engine. The Greddy unit is also going to typically require modification to make it fit and function properly. Unfortunately, what they don't tell you about universal units is the reason they are universal is because they don't fit anything until you make them to fit, you just have enough material and hardware to get creative with it. If you are looking to extensively modify your engine, then it may benefit you to go with the universal unit and just wait until you have your piping cut exactly the way you want it, this may give you better location or clearance using the aftermarket unit, but otherwise like I said, I would go with the factory performance BOV. If you have any further questions about your cruiser, please feel free to email me, I have had a cruiser for a couple of years now and have also done lots of customizing to cruisers for friends.
Q:My valve cover gasket has less them 2k miles on it and i noticed in some areas there is a lil oil shine around it so i was thinkin maybe i have to retighten the valve cover a lil bit more?
I would tighten them a little. Hope you cleaned the valve cover and head good before you installed the gaskets.
