Application

The rotation direction
Viewed from motor, the direction of the pump is anti-clockwise,that is the suction in the left, the discharge in the right.
The rotating direction of the type pump is clockwise, that is the suction in the right, the discharge in the left.
Also can move the driver to another edge according to the user’s requires. Then, the rotating direction, the suction and discharge direction is in the opposite as the described above.

- Q:I think my water pump is leaking and I want to replace it, but I can't figure out how to get the pulleys off. There is a large nut on the shaft that the pulleys are on, and I can't figure out how to remove it, or if the nut is attached to the shaft, and the entire shaft is supposed to come out, or how it's set up. Please help. Pictures would be great if possible. Thanks!
- you take that big nut off, and if the pulley does not come off, you have to find a puller and pull it off the water pump, becaue more than likely the NEW water pump you need will not have a pully. Do yourself a favor, and buy a brand new water pump, it will last the life time of the car, and you will not have as many issues which may happen if you buy a cheap pump if you have never done a water pump,I suggest buying a repair manual, this will have a step by step guide that will make the job much easier on you and the truck

- sorry but warming the engine will not affect the water flow. i had this problem i did not have the impeller installed properly.....took it to service center 3 hrs and $185 all new water pump kit fixed my problem . would have saved me alot of time and trouble if i had taken it in earlier
- Q:The water pump gasket in my '98 Forester (130k) recently began to leak, and I will be replacing it in the next couple days. I noticed a stream of bubbles in my overflow container, though, and am wondering if it might be bad head gaskets making the air bubbles. The bubbles only appear after the engine is warmed up, like after a drive around town - there aren't any bubbles when the engine is cold.Is it possible that these air bubbles are coming from the leaking water pump? - Pull your belts off and the fan, clutch assembly if there is one. Undo those eight or so bolts that hold the pump on and swap it for a new one. Drain the coolant first or you'll have a mess on your hands. You don't always have to remove the radiator but sometimes that gives you more clearance to work with.

- Q:The truck is a 1982 Ford pickup F100. We didn't realize it was an F100 at the time and we put the F150 water pump on it. The water pump fits perfectly, but is this going to mess up the engine at all?
- No it will not hurt the motor as long as the pulley for the belt lines up with the crankshaft pulley like the original one did. If they don't line up you will start chewing through belts

- Should be a valve on your pressure tank. That is what you turn off or the sheer volume of water in it will keep water flowing until it empties out.
