CDLK/CDLKF is non-self priming multi-stage centrifugal pump installed with standard motor. The motor shaft is directly connected with the pump shaft through
coupling.According to the requirement, the pump can be equipped with intelligent protector, which effectively protects pump from dry rotation, phase lack, overload etc.In order to meet the requirement of installation depth of the water tank or vessel,it is possible to install cavity body for changing length of the pump.Length for different number of stages is shown in the dimensions & weight table and the table of products supplying scope.

- Q:One mechanic told me that my Toyota Corolla 2004 CE's water pump is leaking and I need to change pump and its belt costing me around $450. I took it to other mechanic today and he told that water pump looks good and no need to worry. I need to know how I can verify that water pump is leaking or not. Below are some facts of the car that I noticed myself.1. The engine collant level is above half level about at 70% 2. I started my car around 8.30 PM @ 90 degree F after break of 3 hours and the temprature gauge reach to half in 5 minutes. Please advice what can be done to determine the leak is there or not else I have to take it to other mechanic.

- Q:What does water pump mean?
- The pump is the pump, and pump the water where you want it
- Q:I know that the water pump is belt driven, so it would be easy to connect it to my bicycle. What I am wondering is if I can pedal fast enough to make it work. Does anyone know how fast I would need to pedal to operate the pump?
- Mechanical water pumps will move water with any rotation, provided it's a sealed system and there are no obstructions. The flow rate will be determined by the RPM of the water pump. This is proportional to the pulley sizes of the drive pulley to the water pump pulley. 600 RPM for a water pump at idle is sufficient for the cooling system design and the engine heat load at idle. Without knowing the specifics of your application, it would be hard to tell how fast you would need to pedal.
- Q:I would like to change the water pump myself but do not have a repair manual.
- Im guessing you have the 3.4 liter engine. You will need to remove the pulley bolts first 10mm, then pull off the pulley and the belt. there should be a few 10mm bolts holding the water pump on, remove them and scrape off the old gasket with a scraper and then clean the rest up with some fine grit sandpaper. Don't scrub one area for too long because the surface is soft aluminum. you will need to spray some brake clean on a rag and clean up the surface so there is no coolant or dirt on it. Now put the new gasket on the new pump and put a thin layer of silicone on the side of the gasket that is going to mate with the engine block. Do not put silicone on both sides of the gasket. Make sure to note wich way you took the old pump out because it only goes in one way and torque down the bolts so they are snug, don't overtorque or you will strip the aluminum. Now you will need a half inch rachet to pull back the belt tensioner to be able to put the belt back on. There should be a picture of how the belt is routed somewhere under the hood. Don't forget to buy Dexcool (Red Antifreeze) Make sure you don't mix it with the green antifreeze. Good Luck
- Q:i a wayne above ground pump i need to know how to run all my water lines
- A lot depends on your location from the well. Best bet for water lines is 3 feet below ground level This the frost line, where water will not freeze in the pipe. If above ground you need to make sure the pipes are below the level of the pump and the tank. The reason is: you will have to drain the water every winter to stop freezing pipes. Underground is best if you run water to your home, so you will have a constant supply of water without frozen pipes. Also throughout the winter cold snap, keep a 60 watt lamp in your well house on to stop frost from forming. This give off a little heat and saves on frost related repairs. Lag all pipes visible pipes to at least 4 of lagging material. Best of luck.
- Q:it's not doing anything. about a month ago, i changed the pressure switch because it the water just suddenly stopped (like now), and after changing it, it worked again. I did noticed that after changing the pressure switch, it was tripping a lot (the pressure switch). when the water pump stopped again (this time), i went a bought another pressure switch thinking that it was the same problem, but this time it didn't solve the problem. Came to find out later, that the pressure switch that i had changed about a month ago, it was wired incorrectly - maybe that's why it was tripping a lot? so i did wired this one correctly, but still didn't work. Did i burned the pump? another note here is that it has been less than a year that i changed the water pump. My question is, what could the problem be this time? did i burned the pump because i wired the pressure switch incorrectly? any suggestion, please email me thanks!
- Easiest way to tell is to bypass the pressure switch and connect the pump motor wire directly to incoming power and manually run the pump until you reach shut off pressure... use your circuit breaker to do this.. My guess is that when you wired it the wrong the first time you forced the pump to shut off by way of an overload protector on the motor and either the protector is bad now or the motor is
- Q:Why my Water Pump is leaking again? It was replace 2 month ago brand new water pump?
- I'm sure you used a brand new gasket correct?I'm also sure you scraped any old residual gasket material off the block before you installed the new gasket and water pump correct? You're also suppose to torque the bolts on this water pump in a certain sequence and to 40 ftlbs. If its leaking from between the pump mounting surface and block, its most likely improperly torqued or under torqued bolts, old gasket material wasn't cleaned off good enough,or the block surface has gouges in it which are too deep for just the gasket to seal.If its leaking from the underside of pump out of weep hole, the remanufactured water pump is no good and needs replacement.Make sure none of your hoses clamps are loose.Make sure its coolant leaking and not silicone fluid from the fan clutch.Fan clutch also needs to be stored upright when its not bolted to the water pump.If not, this can cause fluid to start leaking out of clutch.Click link below for vehicle water pump diagram and related info.
- Q:School project. My group cannot find this answer.
- Water pumps are rated by output (cfm, gpm), max. suction lift (ft), total head (ft), amount of power used (Hp), and whether they self-prime.
- Q:I'm trying to convince my dad to get a 1984 Porsche 944 for $900. However, the car need a new water pump and I was wondering how much it would be to get the part installed at a shop. What would be a good estimate as I'm planning on going to more than one place. So included with the price of the part and installation is this a good deal? And is the car reliable?
- Installing okorder /. You really can't scrimp on these cars. Maybe you can save a few dollars if you shop for parts. But if a timing belt fails or the pump bearing siezes, your engine is done. You need to be especially careful about water pumps, as a cheap rebuild may be poor economy. The part in the above post is an auxiliary water pump, not the primary water pump. The electric aux pump is a sort of preheater for the cabin, and need not be replaced unless it's stalled.
- Q:My car started to leak anti-freeze Really fast, so i had to pour water in there to keep it from overheating, so i took it to my mechanic, and left it there overnight, and they call me the next morning and tell me that the water pump needs to be fixed, and a few belts got water damage on them, and a a few driving belts need to be replaced. he said it would come out to be 695.97, does that sound like the right cost?
- Here's okorder /... If the timing belt and belt tensioner pulley was replaced also, that's the going rate for the job. You have an interference engine and a timing belt driven water pump, so I'm sure they changed the timing belt and if they did a good job, you got billed reasonably. If the belt had broken, you may have had to total the car.
