- [with the car jacked up] Follow the rubber pipes coming out of the radiator. You should eventually find a metal device that is connected to your serpentine belt (fan belt). This device is your water pump. The purpose of the pump is to run cool water through the engine to cool it off. - Reading through what you have replaced about the only thing it could be is you have a hole in the supply line somewhere. If the tank needed replacement, when there is no draw on the system, like when you get a drink of water, there will be no cycling of the pump. In other words if there is no spigot on then there must be a leak somewhere.

- Q: My 93 Ford t-bird over heats and i really don't know what could be the problem, the radiator is working fine, and also the fan and the thermostat, i don't think is a head gasket because the oil looks alright with no contamination and there is no steam coming from the exhaust im beginning to suspect the water pump but the weep hole is not leaking. So does a water pump MUST leak from the weep hole if it is bad, or it could be bad and not leak? thanks in advance...

- Q: We use this water pump for about 2 years, and in the last week the circuit breaker trip when we turn on the pump. What should I check first for the problem?
- Is it a circuit breaker or a GFCI that is tripping? If a circuit breaker then the pump motor could be frozen or is binding, circuit maybe over loaded because there in now something else plugged into it or the circuit breaker is wearing out. If it is GFCI (and on a pump it probably should be) then you have a ground fault condition in the pump motor or the wiring. In which case I would suggest hire an electrician to sort out the problem.

- Q: OK so i am new to RVing....I have an older 1971 trailer pull forester....It has a your normal fresh water inlet on the outside of the trailer, fresh water tank, and water pump. My question is actual a double part question #1 When i screw the hose on the inlet and start filling the water tank i hear it going in but i still have no water coming out the faucet...Does this have to do with the water pump? why am not getting water to anything except i hear the tank filling up?!?#2 Is the Water pump A/C or D/C......I have that little pull knob (that i guess turns it on or off) and i was curious if i needed to be hooked up to the Battery in front to make this work? or should it work with the regular AC that everything else is working on?Thanks for any help
- If U basically establish it seem on the arrows for water pass. If no longer than make beneficial it has water attending to ti and not close off or leaking line. There are exams U can do on the pump to verify if it extremely is working like a hose right into a bucket of water and notice if it pumps.
