Can I buy real estate in Australian while being a Russian Citizen and can I travel back and forth and what Visa do I need?
In addition to the above - you would only be able to visit the property on short visitor/tourist visas. Having a property in Australia does not give you the right to live her for any long period.
I am really interested in real estate and want a job that has to do with real estate. I was wondering if anyone would share what their job was if it is within real estate. Also wondering if the pay is good within real estate. Thanks!
Go to some of your local, high producing, real estate agents or offices and put in a resume. Explain that you're interested in getting your foot in the door and you plan on possibly getting your license. You can work for one agent as an assistant with their listings and escrows. Or, you can work for numerous different ages assisting on their listings. Or, you could work for a local office and be a receptionist or processor. The pay is decent. The main thing is if you're planning on getting your license, the potential to make a lot of money is there. Go for it! You'll either love it, or hate it!
Ok. I live in New Jersey. I have a full time job that is smooth, and I go to school part time. On the weekends I had a part time also. But I want to get into something else part time. And I'm not really willing to leave my regualar job.....yet. lol. I know the market is down, and who knows when it will pick up. I live in North East Jersey, and a co-worker gave me a brochure for a list of schools. I can get my training in 5 weeks and be done by August. My question is, will it be worth it? I know of a couple of people who've done it and are sooo sooo good at it and yea,....they have MONEY. lol. I want to make money on the side. My financial advisor suggested selling insurance, but I dont know about that. He said the market is saturated with Real Estate people so I don't know. Some say go for it, others say don't. I just need to make some extra money. More than what my part time job offers. And my degree is still a few years away. I mean something for now. Please help. Thanks =)
I agree with godged. It's very tough to work real estate p/t and be even remotely successful. A good way to get a feel for the business is to work as an assistant to a successful real estate salesperson (not a receptionist in a brokerage). The wages will be crap, but you're there for experience. You want to find out if you're cut out for RE, and this is a great way to do it. Checkout CL for positions or be a real go-getter (you are one right?) or call brokerages and ask for their top producers who might benefit from an assistant. RE people are making less money now, so he/she will be worried about overhead. Offer to do it for 3 months for minimum wage. Then they can evaluate and see that having you around helps them make more money. In an ideal world, you'll get your license and start working their open houses, working their lower priority listings, and basically partner up with him/her to break into the game. Good luck!
where can i find a real estate location that offer a short term course???
YES okorder BEST of luck with your new career!
i am looking into becoming an agent, i have my license but have not sold a home yet.. i am really hurting with money, i am working a full time job at night and currently supporting 3 kids and my wife. is it worth it to put all my extra time in starting my real estate career and suffer with the gas going up or is real estate so bad now and am i just wasting my time?
Well not probably isn't a good time to be starting out in this business. I would consider another line of work to support my family. Startig your own business whether it is in real estate of any other business, it takes time, money, discipline and constant prospecting for new customers. Unless you have wealth, or have saved several years worth of income, it makes it nearly impossible to start a new business.
Ok I am working on getting my real estate license what are some ways to break into the Real Estate world other than becoming an apartment Leasing Consultant.
Sales, development, appraisal, escrow....you have plenty of options, ask some people working in local real estate offices where you should start.
Okay so im 18 years old, and im at the point in my life where, i have no idea what I wanna do! i plan to go to school for business next fall, and ideally become a successful real estate agent.A Real Estate Agent is very appealing to me because, i like the fact that there is no limit to how much money you can make, you set your own hours, you get to wear a suit to work everyday, drive a nice car, you get the idea! My father was a car salesman, and my whole life ive been good with my words and able to sell and persuade people into things he he. Its just that i am a lazy weed-smoker who needs to change my ways ( but i plan to do so) and i don't like to work evenings and weekends. And i sat down with a Real Estate agent in my community and he said if you want to be a real estate agent, then say goodbye to your evenings and weekends! that's a turn off for me, i want to enjoy my nights and weekends with my wife and family! Any Thoughts?
Josh, okorder and check out their web site. You then interview with them and hopefully one of them accepts you into their company on an internship like basis (remember this is 100% commission based - no salary) and you learn the business. Good luck!
What do you think is the true future of real estate market in SE florida... i want to sell move closer to workplace in WPB???
in accordance to your link, l. a. is the costliest. San Diego is amazingly costly, yet almost each super city looks costly to me. yet with coastal Southern California, you get what you pay for. seashores, mountains, wasteland, valley, city, suburbia, u . s . residing, lifestyle.... the place else are you able to rouse early on a Saturday to ski in the morning, hit the bike trails in the late afternoon, watch the sundown on the sea in the evening on your tank precise and turn flops, then end your day having a solid time with acquaintances in the hippest evening club? in case you intend properly it is performed. it relatively is rather magnificent and why i like SoCal.
