- Q: Salt doesn't really make any different when cleaning infact I think it makes more dried skin to get stick on the bar. My side piercing is fine but the one closest to my eye is painful when pushed or touched I think this is because I accidentally sleep on it without realising. It's red but it has no lump around the piercing is it infected or is it just trying to heal?
- The reason why the earring will stick to the skin and dry up because you're using too much salt. Cleaning it with warm sea salt water is the best way to clean your piercing, especially soaking it in a bowl for 5-10 min. Make-up wipes have alcohol in them, which irritates piercings, just stick to salt. H2Ocean is great, it's a little pricey but it has the right salinity and other ingredients essential for healing tissues. It's not infected, it's just irritated because you slept on it. An infection will have pain, lots of swelling, dark yellowish pus, and throbbing. Give it a sea salt soak and the redness and soreness will go away.

I'm just nervous to get it done but really want another piercing on my ears. I have my lobes and a cartilage on my right ear. How easy is it to clean? rate in numbers as well as a description. - Well of course it depends on the person. Some people say the piercing isn't bad at all, while some say it is really painful. Some people say the healing process is absolute hell, but for some people it's a breeze. I got an industrial 3 months ago, and i would rate the actual piercing process as a 8/10 (10 being the most painful). It was pretty painful in my opinion, but the good thing is that the pain doesn't last long at all. Most people i know who have industrials say that the healing process is more painful than getting the piercing, but for me it was the complete opposite. Immediately after the piercing it throbbed and was a tiny bit sore for about an hour, then for the next 2 days it was completely painless. But after that, it was pretty sore for about 2-3 weeks, but it wasn't that bad. Now after having it 3 months, it still feels a bit uncomfortable when i sleep on it, sometimes it's a tad bit sore, but no big deal at all :)

- On the Scaffold Dimmesdale is really starting to go crazy. the guilt in his heart about loving hester is eating him up. he goes onto the scaffold thinking no one will see him. he is punishing himself. he yells out and thinks that it will be the end of his secrect but no one hears him. they just think he is the cry in the night. then reverend wilson comes along. but he doesnt see dimmesdale. then hester and pearl walk by they notice them. they come up on the scaffold. Pearl asked dimmesdale if he would stand with hester and her at noon the next day but of he says no that he will only stand with them on Judgement Day. then they see the scarlet letter in the sky and the town people thought that it was just an a for angel because the gov passed away. they next day wilson finds dimmesdale's glove on the scarrold but he thought that the devil put it there. i cant remember what chapter it is in but it is toward the middle good luck with the book i loved it

- The first piercing of the scaffold will feel the same as getting your helix done. The second will hurt a bit more. The healing of a scaffold, however, will probably be more painful than just one helix piercing and will take a bit longer.
