- Q: What is LG water pump?
- The LG in the LG pump should be a brand, without much practical significance.
- Q: looking for the comparison and then finaly the conclusion about the water pumps instaaled in the IC engines. Where we should stick to the tradional mechanical driven water pumps or electrical water pumps? which one is better!! any information/ response is appreciated
- Duh (I have to assume that IC = a engine (as fitted in a car) if there's no fan belt, how would YOU drive a water pump? I suggest the person that asked the question has PEDALS fitted to his/her IC the fan belt went when radiator fans had motors added (which was good as the fan was a unwanted load on the engine ...you only need a fan when stationary)
- Q: where t is in minutes since the pump is started. If the holding tank contains 1000 liters of water when the pump is started, how much water does it hold one hour later?
- Water is pumped out of a holding tank at a rate of 4-4e^(-.14t) liters/minute. Lets call that function w(t). So if we integrate w(t) over a time period that will give us the total water removed over that time period. So lets integrate it from t=0 (time when pump started) to t=60 (one hour later): ∫ w(t) from t=0 to t=60 ∫ w(t)=∫ 4-4e^(-.14t)=4t+(4/.14)e^(-.14t) evaluated from 0 to 60 ∫ w(t)=4(60)+(4/.14)e^(-.14*60)-4(0)-(4/.1... ∫ w(t)=211.435 liters removed If the holding tank began at 1000 liters and 211.435 were removed... Remaining water=1000-211.435 ***Remaining water=788.565 liters***
- Q: water pump contents
- contents no, replace component.
- Q: i took off the water pump cover on my 1986 cr 250 and discovered that the impeller wont come off. ive tried turnig it the wrong way and the right way. can someone please tell me how to get it off.
- Remove the water pump cover, Now you will see the impeller and it has a little 10 mm(I think) nut fitting on it. Put the bike in gear and apply the rear brake. Now unscrew the impeller with a socket wrench. Take it easy as they are quite soft. Once that is off, you should be able to pry the seal out, and pop a new one in. A good way to get old seals out is to use a screw, screw it in to the seal then grab it with the pliers. You might want to replace the oil seal while you are there since they are so cheap. To do this though you will have to remove the rh crank case cover cause this seal sits in the inside of this cover. This is also an easy job. When you remove the rh crank case cover ( with impeller already removed) the water pump shaft should just slide out from the inside and give you easy access to both seals.
- Q: I have a 2002 honda civic with 85k miles the dealer says the timing belt should be replaced. But with the water pump timing belt tensioner also have to be replaced???
- It relies upon on the vehicle, in diverse fashions, like maximum mitsubishis, you could desire to take the timing belt off to alter the water pump. So then that is an included operation and there is not any extra suitable value linked with the exertions to do the timing belt, it merely makes it a handy, value saving time to do it. there is not any rule approximately changing water pumps and timing belts at the same time. If that is not an included operation there is not any element to do them on a similar time. The timing belt is physically powerful preventative upkeep yet there is not any might desire to alter the water pump previously that is showing signs and indicators, and there are a brilliant style of them, that that is going to die.
- Q: Today I see the saying that if your pipe diameter has been selected, then the pipe diameter on the pipe diameter should be smaller. I don't know why
- The size is only a matter of convenience or experience, and a small number of tubes are already available. As long as you can pick it up, you can use it.The so-called thick pipe to reduce resistance is a certain relationship. But it shouldn't be your decision to choose the big one. Then why don't you choose the big three? Four or the thicker ones?! @! The resistance will be smaller!!!!- - - - - - - - - - - - - - layman; look at the knowledge of fluid mechanics!!!The question is a conclusion, explain why not one or two words, learn the knowledge of fluid mechanics to know why -- try to answer it, that is to improve the water pump outlet total pressure head, intuitive feeling is to have enough pressure to pump out the water pressure. As for the big three or four, it is necessary to ensure that the flow velocity in the pipe is more uniform, otherwise the flow near the pipe wall will flow or flow too slowly due to viscous action.
- Q: I put the new water pump in and the metal tube that goes to the heater hose it is hitting the wheel that holds the 3 belts that goes onto the water pump. why is it doing that. got the right pump. I have a 1986 firebird V6. any ideas?
- if you still have the old pump match it up with the new one, if its the same the pulley backwards
- Q: do I need to replace it again ? How hard is it to change the water pump? Any Idea where on the internet I can download a free maintenance manual or replacement instructions ?
- I would turn the crankshaft with the belt on until the timing marks line up, then remove the belt, do the work, then put it back together... if you take it apart with the timing marks out of alignment, then it will be more difficult to put back. just a tip.
- Q: OK so i am new to RVing....I have an older 1971 trailer pull forester....It has a your normal fresh water inlet on the outside of the trailer, fresh water tank, and water pump. My question is actual a double part question #1 When i screw the hose on the inlet and start filling the water tank i hear it going in but i still have no water coming out the faucet...Does this have to do with the water pump? why am not getting water to anything except i hear the tank filling up?!?#2 Is the Water pump A/C or D/C......I have that little pull knob (that i guess turns it on or off) and i was curious if i needed to be hooked up to the Battery in front to make this work? or should it work with the regular AC that everything else is working on?Thanks for any help
- If U basically establish it seem on the arrows for water pass. If no longer than make beneficial it has water attending to ti and not close off or leaking line. There are exams U can do on the pump to verify if it extremely is working like a hose right into a bucket of water and notice if it pumps.
