This is convenient for you, since 135 lbs on a bench press is a 45 lb plate or a 35 lb plate, depending on the weight of the bar. But first, finding your bench press max, whatever you can succesfully press one time, is the first place to start. Then, you should do sets of 5 or 6, using about 80% or 85% of your max as a bench press workout. Make sure to mix it up a little though, so your muscles don't get used to one thing. - Q: I tighten the belt as much as I can (sorta hard to adjust) but it still jams. It's an inexpensive mastercraft 10 model. The belt looks fine to me but I don't know what to look for. It jams a lot, almost unusable with a 7/8 forstner bit. Really annoying. I would definately get a new belt if I thought that was it. I think it didn't jam as much when it was new. The other day the belt just came off while running for no apparent reason (it was plenty tight). Thanks for any help anyone can suggest. Could it be alignment?
