FAQ

I go to FAU, and the wifi here, upon connecting to it, sends you to a webpage to log in. As some may know, if there is a Wifi Access Point that uses this system, Nintendo products will not connect to them. I was wondering if it was possible to circumnavigate the password system by using the Nintendo Wifi USB Connector, and if so are there any extra steps I would have to take to do so?
I don't see why it wouldn't work. Your PC has authenticated itself using the webpage. The USB Connector is turning the PC into a hotspot for the 3DS to connect to. So the 3DS connects to the USB Connector. Then it is the PC sending the 3DS data over the college wifi. Unless the college wifi is configured to specifically block that data (perhaps blocking the destination, might be using a catch-all anti-gaming filter) it should get through. Only one way to know for sure though.
I was just wondering if there was a difference between the 20+4 Pin ATX Connector and the 24 Pin ATX Connector? I am purchasing an ASUS P5L-MX Mainboard and it has a 24 Pin ATX Connector. I was just wondering if I could use either the 20+4 or the 24?
theres a difference in compatability the 24 pin PSUs have a fixed amount of pins for the motherboard (24 pin motherboard power connections are the modern ones) the 20 +4 pins are daul compatible with the modern 24 pin ones (you attach the 4 pins to the existing 20 pins and plug it in to the motherboard) and the older PCs (usually 6 years or older) wich use 20 pin motherboard power connections so generally there are no big differences in the performance of the PC unless you only have 20 pins plugged into a 24 pin socket then you get allot of strain on the PC and constant bluescreens and error messages because of lack of power. hope that is clear.
hello, i got my new case and it has one case fan.the case fan is a 4 pin molex connector. it has 2 heads though. they both look like this
Use the one that fits your power supply connectors. You only need one of them. They are wired in parallel. Edit: Then muster up enough sense to post some details! It damn sure ain't gonna run if the PC isn't finished or you have other problems!
Hi, I just bought a Nintendo Wifi USB connector and every time I inputted in the usb slot I hear the sound but nothing comes out On the bottom right screen as well I try searching my computer and nothing please help me out
cause it is not made for the computer to use just your nintendo
i got a new Nvidia gtx 460 which requires more power than the motherboard can provide and has two 6 pin (2x3) power connectors. Unfortunately, i have no idea how to connect them to the power supply. I currently have a 500 watt power supply, so do i need to upgrade it, or is the problem simply the one of finding the right cables and/or adapter?
if you're going to spend $70 on a half-baked power supply only to spend $120 on a better one in 6 months, I think you should ask your father for the $50 difference and do it right the first time - I'll bet he would cough up the cash if you would do some special chores or something
I bought Nintendo's Wi-Fi USB connector on Tuesday, hooked it up, worked great, I was sending messages to my friends and all. Wednesday night the wii stopped responding to it, so I uninstalled, reinstalled, went through A LOT of internet connection sharing issues, and now I've finally got the software to reinstall right but the wii is not responding to the registration tool.It says to grant the wii permission to connect through the Wi-Fi connection tool. I have done this, and the wii doesn't respond to it.Note: this isn't the first time installing it. it worked fine on tuesday :#92;Does anyone have a fix for me? :(
I suspect another device installed in your house/neighborhood is interfering with the connection. -- Make sure a radio line of sight is available for your device: between your Wii and PC, get as many radio emitting or electronic products OUT OF THE WAY. Unplug them, move them to somewhere else, etc. If there's something new (not referring to your PC but anything electronic) you bought and installed in your house on the day you lost the connection, that device would be suspect. Take it out and see if you get the connection back. -- If that doesn't work, perhaps one of your neighbors installed a Wi-Fi network or device and is using the same channel as you. Most people's networks don't have the same SSID or password, but can still interfere with the correct channel or radio frequency. Try switching channels. Wii's instruction manual suggests channel 1 or 11, but in my old house, I had my Wii running with my Wi-Fi router on Channel 3 since everyone else was using both channels 1 and 11. Check the manual for the USB Wi-Fi Connector and see if you can change to a different channel. TRY ALL OF THEM, but 1, 6 and 11 seem to have the best chance of success, since they use completely different radio frequencies (instead of 2-5 and 7-10 which use sidebands of the same frequency.) -- Get it closer to the Wii. If your Wii is in the living room and the PC in the bedroom, consider moving the Wii to the bedroom too. WiFi involves a lot of trial and error not to mention patience. If you aren't familiar with networking and know of a neighborhood-friendly PC nerd, you'd do best to utilize their expertise at this time.
I have an old craftsman tractor with a corroeded/rusted.stripped bolt and nut stuck in between the battery connector.Ive tried really hard to get the bolt and nut looseI dont want to buy a saw just to cut this one little bolt.Ive asked this question a few times and many have said it is easiest to just CUT the battery wire and connector.HOW easy is it to do this?Where can i get new wires and connectorsI dont hace any experience with wires and such. I know enough about kepping a mower running smooth with fresh oil, fuel, etcI am 18 yrs old.I would like som feedbackThanks
If you have a pair of electrician side cutters, they should be able to cut the wire near the connector that needs to be replaced. If not an inexpensive hack saw and a fine blade will let you cut the bolt or the cable as you need. You can get new wires and connectors at an auto parts store.
A just Got a dsi but i can't get it to work with the nintendo WI-FI connector. I was wondering if its possible to use them together.
yes it is compatible
