- Sorry, but drilling holes and bolting exhaust systems together must be a new concept. You're in the wrong place for a good Cat Back exhaust system. Go to the Dynomax Muffler Website and buy something decent.

- One of the reasons for the quickness could be due to the larger diameter of the tailpipes and muffler. Slightly larger pipes are less restrictve to the exhaust. This paired with a high volume air intake system or a supercharger will create more horsepower and quicker speeds. Changing the exhaust will decrease efficiency and performance. If the Yaris is stock there should be little difference if an OEM muffler is installed. Go to a reputable muffler shop for advice. Then go to another to make sure.

I hope this helps. * db level: DRD 99.2db, Quite Core insert 96db (Quiet Core sold separately) (Dirt Bike quoted the db level to be 92.18 with insert installed) Stock 96db I'm not sure if this document will help you any or not. It has a chart that shows a chart listing 'Akrapovic Evolution Exhaust System' and it has the dB/rpm as 98/5500 and I listed that site 2nd below. I hope this has been at least a little help.

- No way boss. Get the swap first.you don't know if the new exhaust is going to mate properly (depends on how the engine sits in the bay). Um and.you'll need new headers (at the minimum) isn't a 350 a v8?

- Since you would probably have to touch or remove the current exhaust system to install the new exhaust system, it would be better to wait until the car had time to cool down. The exhaust system piping gets very warm and could burn you. If you do try to change it right away, be sure to wear heat resistant gloves and long sleeves to protect yourself from burns. (the pipes would feel a lot like touching a hot oven.)

- I have had them on 3 different mustangs but I only buy the off road x -pipes. I always use flowmaster cat back 2.5 inch american thunder exhaust. Its the best sounding exhaust thats why 90 percent of stangs have them. I agree with 1st poster. SS is better but you pay for them too. As long as you keep up with the prevention of rust on them you'll be ok. Just like headers the xpipes and mufflers need hi temp painting and or coating on them.
