Solar Pumping System
It can be applied to daily use (ground water), agricultural irrigation, forestry irrigation, desert control, pasture animal husbandry, water supply for islands, wastewater treatment engineering, and so on. Solar water pump System is dispensed with energy storing devices, and stores water instead of electricity. It improves the reliability of the device, at the same time, it lowers the construction and maintenance costs of the irrigation system dramatically.
In recent years, with the promotion of the utilization of new energy resources, Solar Pumping System is more and more used in municipal engineering, city centre squares, parks, tourist sites, resorts and hotels, the landscapes and fountain irrigation systems in the residential areas.
Technical Features
Optimization of Single Pump System
A single solar irrigation system consists of only one pump, a power -matched solar array and an inverter . The aim of optimization is to reduce the amount of PV modules as much as possible on the premise of filling the requirement of head and capacity. The rotational speed of pump is regulated according to the irradiation on the solar array; when the sunlight reaches its peak, the pump runs at the rated speed, and the output approaches the peak power of the solar array; when the sunlight is less abundant, the speed of pump varies bellow the range of the rated speed; when the speed as low as the capacity becomes zero, the solar pumping system stops working. So, there are big differences between solar irriation systems and traditional pumping systems in system design, and the system should be optimized according to the requirements of head, capacity, and local conditions of sunlight.
•Determine the optimal average daily operating time and the range of speed governing.
•Choose the optimal head and capacity of the pump.
•Determine the maximum power of PV modules, the best working voltage and method of connection.
Optimization of Multi-pump Systems:
There are several pumps in a multi-pump system. The pumps can be driven either by only one high-power inverter, or by several matching inverters. In the case of large capacity demand, the operation of the multi-pump system is more flexible. By switching solar arrays and pumps, all of the pumps run in MPPT mode when the sunlight is abundant, while some pumps will be shut down and all solar arrays supply power intensively for the rest running pumps when irradiation is weak. Based on the optimization of single pump system, the range of speed can be further optimized, and the photovoltaic(PV) pumping system always works with high efficiency.

- Q: We have a private well with a 40 year old water pump that is rusting away, and sounds like a truck. It's a double jet well pump sitting on a tank, with a second tank to one side that it's also connected to (with a thick pipe). I don't quite understand why there are two tanks (there's a third which is obviously the hot water). I'm guessing one of these is to hold water, and the other to provide air pressure? In any case, the pump runs OK, it doesn't leak, and provides plenty of pressure. It is just unbelievably loud. I've been told that replacing the bearings might take care of this problem, but seeing how the tank the pump rests upon (with a thin tube connecting it to the pump) is rotting away, and the system is older than I am, should I just replace the whole thing?
- It sounds like you have two pressure tanks. I am going to guess that the one under your pump probably went out and instead of taking it out and re-plumbing everything they just spliced in a new tank. You can get a re-build kit for most pumps but it sound like your pump is pretty old and probably being held together with faith and rust and taking it apart might cause more problems. What I would do is price out what the re-build cost and what labor might be against what a new system might be. If you decide to go with a new system I would suggest looking into getting a submersible pump, using the same tank but making sure it is in a good location and plumbed with a union. when your pressure tank finally goes out it is going to weigh a ton and trying to move it around plumbing can be difficult. good luck and happy holidays.
- Q: 2 different pulleys are in the way of the 2 remaining long bolts. at each end of the pump. tensioner did not need to be moved as belt is already off. Motor mount is 1/2 way removed and motor has dropped slightly gt; Am reading a jack must be placed under motor with wood via oil pan ( am hoping no other damage was done) Am told there is a certain device available to remove the pulleys? ... -Would appreciate anyone's info and advice on the remaining steps to this procedure on this make and model engine. as I have come into it obviously with it having begun the wrong way!! Thanks!!
- Are you sure? Try using a search engine (could be Bing, Yahoo, Google).
- Q: I've got a 1997 Ford Probe, taken it to a couple different places; whenever I drive my vehicle, it tends to want to overheat. I don't drive it to the point where it does though, I know that could cause more damage! I've noticed that when I go out to my car in the morning, there's some coolant on the ground by the front passenger's tire. Before I drive it I fill it with coolant, as to try to keep it from overheating while driving.I've been told that it's the water pump leaking from 2 people but then the last person said there's no leakage. I'm wondering if it might be something else? Maybe a thermostat, a hose, maybe? How would I figure this out???
- Power wash the engine bay. THen drive the car over a quicky lube pit and pay the attendant $5 to examine the car from underneath. He should be able to tell. Is this the 3.0 liter engine?? Use only genuine Ford coolant in it! Also, power wash the space between the radiator and the A/C condenser
- Q: As I wrote last night, I have a Isuzu Rodeo V6 3.2L 4X4. I guess I misunderstood my husband. I talked to him this morning and he said that it did overheat but the gauges on the inside of the car wasn't showing that it was overheating. It wasn't spewing coolant but the coolant that was just filled up a couple of weeks ago is empty. Does anyone know what the problem is?
- Sounds like it has to be leaking somewhere OR maybe you didn't fill it enough with coolant?
- Q: they say a water pump going bad is supposed to weep out of that hole....Yet I see that a new water pump kit has two gaskettes.some o rings....is it likely that it can leak from these sources and still not come out the weep hole? They talk about berring that could go bad or seals gone bad...does this occure in the area that gets inserted into the engine( the turbine portion of the pump)if you had to guess..where is the most likely area for a water pump to fail...if seems like I have wetness off to the left( back toward the firewall) and less off to the right( front of the car)..more off the left..it is very subtile off the right.I don't see anything coming out of the weep hole..BUT the weephole is directly on top( dead center)and back towards the engine in this model. I have the car jacked up on the passengers side/next to the wheel wellso the fluid is most likely to flow backwards toward the drivers side.
- Yes it's possible one of the gaskets is bad,but if you're going thru the work of replacing the gasket you may as well replace the water pump, unless it's a new unit already
- Q: Here is the deal...*Van over heats*Blows Cold quot;heatquot;*Added coolant and water (nothing happened)*Started van, felt the hoses (no h2o flowing thru)I really think my water pump is out, but I am not sure. Does this sound like my water pump. If so, I plan on changing it myself, how do i find step by step instructions to do so.... I have never done it before, but I cant afford to take it to a mechanic! Thanks for your help!
- not water pump..its thermostate....why do u think pump?
- Q: i want to hook a pressure booster pump to a well pump so i can have some pressure out of the well, is this doable?thanks!
- The okorder The way I see this is the booster system delivers approx. 45 psi in the water line (inside the home) and uses a check valve to hold that pressure. You turn the faucets on and the system's sensor detects the drop and kicks back in.
- Q: its a honda accord 1991 Lx my car started overheating only when i stop when i go it doesnt overheat what should i check like the water pump
- You can start with the engine cold. Take off radiator cap and make sure coolant is full. Start engine and wait while it warms up, keeping your eye on the temperature gauge. When it gets to operating temperature, the thermostat should open and the coolant should start rushing past the opening. If it does, the thermostat and water pump is fine. I suggest you make sure your radiator fan(s) is/are turning on at the correct time. Lastly, if you can't figure it out, get a new radiator cap.
- Q: i have a 1990 honda accord, 2.2l 5 spd standard, and my water pump went on it, and i was wonder if there is a diagram out there somere on how to replace it or how to take it out, cuz it is in the most stupidest spot ever, if you know were i could find a diagram on how to do so could you please help me?
- You don't want to do it. Water pumps that are driven by the timing belts should not be done by amateurs since precise alignment of the camshaft(s), crankshaft, balance shaft, water pump is critical. You should really take it to a trusted mechanic otherwise you can put yourself in a world of hurt if you attempt it on your own. Does the term new engine mean anything for you? Not being rude, just honest.
- Q: Replaced the water pump in my 89 f150 and now I have a pretty steady leak coming out. I don't know where the leak is coming from, but its running down the lower hose and dripping off it. I've replaced the lower hose and water pump, what could be causing this?
- it truly is in basic terms a accident yet rather in all probability the water pump became into leaking earlier and that led to the coolant loss interior the 1st place. Having the tank loosing it truly is coolant does not reason the overheating it truly is in basic terms a reservoir for the extra effective coolant. The cooling gadget in basic terms takes from it whilst it needs it and in the experience that your gadget boils over will push it there rather than the floor.
