S single stage double suction centrifugal pumps are late-model energy-saving horizontally split pumps newly developed by us on the base of the old style double suction pumps at home and abroad. They are used to handle clean water or other liquids similar to water in physical and chemical properties.medium temperature not exceeding 80 ℃.This series of pumps are applicable for factories, mines, urban water supply and drainage, power stations, farmland irrigation and drainage, and other water conservancy projects.

The instruction of the structure:

The inlet and outlet of this type of pumps are below the axial lead of the water pump and are vertical with the axis line. When repair and examination, there is no need to disassemble the inlet, outlet pipe and the motor. Seeing from the direction of driving, the pump is circumrotating clockwise. (We can change it into counter-clockwise).
The main components of the pump are: pump body; pump cover, impeller, axis, balanced suction seal loop, axial bush, and etc.
The pump body and pump cover consists of the working room of the impeller. On the water inlet flange and outlet flange, there is pipe tap for installing the vacuum meter and pressure meter. Under the inlet flange and outlet flange, there is pipe tap for pouring the water.
The impeller after quiet balance checkout is fixed on the axis by axial bush and the axial bush nuts on the both sides. Axile nuts can adjust the axial position.
The pump axis is supported by two single low annular ball bearings. The bearing is in the bearing body, installed on the two ends of the pump body. Lubricate it by butter.Balanced suction seal loop is used to reduce the water in pressure room of water pump leak to water jet room.
The pump is directly driving by flexible shaft coupling. It also can be drove by gas engine.
The axis seal is flexible sealant (We can adopt mechanical seal structure).

Q: What does the temperature range of the pump mean?
The range of temperature is less than 135 degrees Celsius, which means that the range of use shall not exceed 135 degrees celsius. Refers to the temperature of hot water, high pressure steam boiler inside the water temperature is more than 100 degrees Celsius, your pump is a high-pressure high temperature water pump, generally used for steam boiler or high temperature waterway system. For reference only.
Q: QDX is a submersible pump. What does "X" mean?
Q submersible pumpsD single-phase motorX downdraft
Q: I have a leak on the front of the engine by the timing belt housing coming out of a small hole by the alternator. I assume it is a leaking water pump. How do to go about changing the water pump?Short clip of actual leak coming from the hole by the alternator and under the timing belt housing
water pump is timing belt driven, so you have to pull all of the belts off, the timing belt cover and that belt also. if that belt has not been replaced in 80,000 miles. you want to do that. i had a 93 civic and a 90 civic that i did the belt and pump in at 230,000 miles. it takes a little time but it is not that bad. the harmonic balancer has to come off for the timing belt also.
Q: My truck has been over heating, and I cant figure out whats going on...the only thing that gets really hot is the upper radiator hose, and the radiator....I just noticed there was a plug unhooked from the water pump, what does that do? Or maybe it could be the thermostat? It just overheats, and when I park it, it wont start half the time, usually I can let it cool off and go, but sometimes it just dies and I have to let it cool off and jump it off.
Get yourself a Haynes or Chilton repair manual at Autozone, Pep boys, etc. Make sure you clean the old gasket material completely off the block before you mount the new pump. If not, you'll leak and have to do it all over again.
Q: Intelligent pump controller, water is full water transfer automatically shows the next pool of water shortage, what is the matter?
The high and low level values are set back.
Q: I have a small stream by my backyard where my garden is and I want to use that water so I will need a pump with a hose attachment. What kind of water pump will I need to get for this?
As the water may contain foreign matter like sand, weeds , organics of other types you need a pump with a centrifugal impeller. depend on the height of lift, volume of flow and the head pressure needed to overcome friction loss will determine the size needed . A small sump pump type unit may work but they need to be immersed fully for cooling the motor.
Q: Hey for the past month my car has been leaking coolant, making a wierd noise when i drive it, and saying low coolant when its filled to the top.my husband took it out to get gas this morning and it stopped on him and had to be towed to the mechanicthe mechanic said its the water pump and somethin about anti freeze and this cost almost 300 bucks with parts and laborim just wanting to know if a water pump does indeed cause issues like this before we dish out this kinda money!!! btw its a 96 chevy luminathanks
It's not will a bad water pump cause your car to overheat, it's a bad water pump WILL cause your car to overheat. It circulates the heated water from your engine block to the radiator to be cooled and back to the engine. Stop moving the heat away from the engine, overheated engine. A bad water pump can have several symptoms. There can be a noisy, ratteling sound coming from the pump when the car is running, there can be water actually leaking out of the pump, or in a worst case, the pump will freeze up and throw the fan belt. The water pump has a metal impeller spinning inside of the housing. Over time, the bearings or sleeve can wear out something gets inside of the pump and damages the impeller blades. There is no proper way to repair a water pump, it must be replaced. Like all moving parts in a vehicle, they will wear out over time. If you can't tell if it is leaking or damaged, I recommend taking it to a mechanic and letting them take a look. They can tell you if it needs to be replaced and (hold onto your wallet) how much it will cost.
Q: My water pump went out. I had a new water pump put on my accord a year and a month ago. Since then have driven 5-6,000 miles in a small city town. Does this makes sense. Could it be a cheaper water pump was put on my car and it went out. The person who worked on it is a mechanic who does a bunch of cars on the side. Last time he worked on my brakes, I had to bring it back because he put cheap ones on.Can I call this guy back? What could I say?
usually 7-10 years so at 5000 miles take it back
Q: I must change the timing belt of my car. I have been told that the water pump must be done too since it is right there. Due to the high price I want to postpone/skip the water pump until the next tune up. What happens if the water pump fails down the road? How long does a water pump last? 120K? My car has 60,000 miles on it. Thank you.
There is no guarantee on how long the water pump will last, but normally 100,000 miles plus. But that is true of a timing belt too. The water pump has a weep hole at the bottom, visually check for corrosion or rust in that area. If you see some, could be a sign that it is ready to go soon. If not, then do the repairs that you can afford. But why the heck are you changing a timing belt at 60,000 miles.
Q: As a fact; I must remove the timing belt in order to remove both camshaft sprockets, then the metal timing belt cover which cover partially the water pump.My main question: Do I have to lift the engine and remove the two water pump studs- Which normally holding the right engine mounting. And where I can rent ,or buy a camshaft locking tool with low price
You can just jack up the motor from the oil pan with a floor jack with a piece of wood instead of removing the studs, just needs to go up a inch to get the bracket and water pump off.
