Q: i dont know how to connect them to the speaker because since they are factory high performance speakers, they have 4 wires that connect to the speaker. it has 2 positive and 2 negative. can you connect the bass blockers to the head unit wiring harness?
answerforyou.liqour.at A very informative website, kindly stay a minute in website and enter you email address for getting your answer.
Q: am not talking about the factory wiring harness i am talking about the wiring harness used to connect the factory wiring and a new stereo? i am trying to connect the 12v switched wire to a remote power supply to my amplifier?
Generally these after market adapters are color coded the same, and the switched 12v supply wire is blue (dark blue w/ a silver stripe on mine, labeled power antenna lead). At least that's what color mine was in my 00 Civic harness when I connected my amp. For additional switched power supply (if you need it) you could use a fuse tap, and tap the ACC fuse in the fuse block. Only do this if you run out of other options though. I had to use this method when connecting my CD changer, which also required a switched 12v supply.
Q: I have a 2001 ford focus zts. My cousin bought me some projector headlights for my birthday, but the problem is that the wiring harnesss for the projector headlights does not match the wiring harness for my car. Are there adapters or do I have to return these headlights and get some that come with a factory style wiring harness?
They do replace each each now and then. i assume that your harness will better wholesome a sparkling HU. in the adventure that your head unit is over heating there consistent with danger a project with the way the wiring harness is put in now. To many audio kit on a million channel Head gadgets over heat temperature whilst the ohm load is to low to the audio kit (now and returned) If i grew to become to place money perfect right into a sparkling unit i ought to take the 20 or 30 minute to freshen up the wiring. you in simple terms via no skill understand what some one did to the vehicles wiring interior the previous you purchased there choose this allows
Q: I am going to put a trailer hitch receiver on an 2008 Buick Enclave. Any one know where the wiring harness is under the vehicle for the 4 prong plug?
Should be near the rear bumper in wires leading to tail lights
Q: How to effectively reduce the cost of car wiring harness?
Fully able to achieve, with the simplest single-chip can be completed, as long as the microcontroller IO common enough, you can achieve a variety of wiring harness line detection.
Q: i think i found the reason why it melted the wires. my windsheild wipers never did work on anything but high since ive had the car so i think it was a bad wiper motor that over heated the wires then they all melted together.
of course you can splice wires in the harness to make permanent repairs.just use common sense. dont replace big wires with little wires use proper rated wire. there are some systems that require proper length and ohm rating. but i think you will be ok.
Q: I am putting in a Panasonic CQ-C7105U in my tahoe and the radio came with a wiring harness along with another harness that came with the dash kit. I wanted to connect the two wiring harnesses together so that if we sell the car I can take the after market out and put the factory back in easily. The only thing I notice about the different harnesses is the gauge of the wires. there is a yellow wire on the panasonic harness labeled battery 15a and from what I understand the orange wire on the other harness is the battery wire for that. Does it matter that one battery wire is larger than the other? The same thing also occurs with the ground wire. (other wires seem to be the same)Also there are two blue wires on one and one blue wire on the other? Think they are the turn on wires, if so why would there be two?
it doesn't matter about the guage as long as the wire from your truck is bigger the blue wires should be speaker
Q: i drive a 2001 Monte Carlo SS, and just recently the radio died on me, so i went out and bought an after market radio thinking that i could just pop the old one out and throw the new one in, but unfortunately i need to find a wire harness that would be compatible with my car. i have traveled to a couple Advance Auto Auto-zone stores around my area and they all say the same thing sorry, but we don't carry a compatible wire harness for your car. Does anyone know where i can find a harness that will work with my car? i really don't want to have to cut and splice the original wires.
Even better I believe is to go directly to a car audio shop. I don't like car toys because I believe they are to corporate tend to overcharge but almost any discount car audio store will know exactly what u will need. Besides locally owned operated car stereo shops take pride in their work often will be genuinely interested in helping u out.
Q: I installed the HID kit without the harness for a couple of months and my friend said that it'll be better if I put the harness in since it draws electricity directly from the battery. Before I put the harness on, the lights were fine and when I installed the harness, it got brighter. Is this due to the wiring harness or something else?
after a few minutes of using hid without the relay the cables will get hot and create ohms so the energy will pass slow and less causing your headlights brite low when you use the relay the cable who feed the hid will automatically change from one cable to another keeping the cables fresh and cool so more energy will pass by making your lights brite a lot more you can connect the hid directly from the battery but you have to use a heavy wire so wont heat so easy and you don't need the relay, but relay is usefully because if something goes wrong relay will goes off and nothing happen is like a fuse another thing is the battery only start the engine, when engines start the alternator do the job so replacing a battery with another one more heavy dont do a thing replace your alternator with a heavy one and you are done
Q: All I have found is the adapter harness for an after market stereo. All I need is the stock stereo wiring Harness. Please help.
If there had been some type of 'chop job' performed to the original wiring for the kia previously, then you might want to look for the wiring harness that came new with the vehicle. The dealership would most likely carry that item. Replacement would almost certainly entail taking your dashboard almost completely apart. I have installed plenty of stereos over the years and find that VERY convenient to work with the original 'factory' wiring. Hope this helps.
