- Q: My dog peed craped on my sofa and it really smells bad , I have used cleaners, the pee smell still lingers.HELP!!!!!
- We had the same problem, and although I could get some of it out, we had the smell until we got rid of the couch. But there were more things I thought of later, after we'd replaced the couch. For example, if the covers come off, try taking them off and washing them. If the pillows are foam, you might try washing them down with a hose and letting them air-dry. If they still smell, get some Febreeze and spray everything. I should have done more of what I just told you, and maybe we would have had more luck--I stuck with the Febreeze.

- when you don't want to get home because you just hate it! hahahaha. The sofa is a very important focal point in decoration, so it may imply changing the rest of the decoration, which can be fun. - Q: This is one of those sofa sleepers. I have pulled on the frame near the end, and on the frame near the back of the couch, and I can feel the entire couch lift when I pull. I have never owned one of these but I am in a hotel right now and with it being Christmas Eve in Italy, no one is answering the phone at the front desk. Any suggestions??
- Sofa beds usually have a pull in the center of the front of the sofa. There is usually a handle to do so. It's the only way I have ever seen a sofa bed pull out and it goes back the same way.

- I have used a rug doctor before with an upolstery attachment. Worked miracles! You can rent them at most grocery stores, home improvement stores and pet stores. Resolve also makes a new cleaner for fabrics you can't just throw in the wash. SUpposedly you spray it on and it cleans as it dries. I've never used it so I can't attest to its effectiveness.
- Q: ok I have one of those imitation micro fiber sofas, and I have a problem.. My hubby insist that it is ok for our 300 lb. English Mastiff to get up on the couch... it drived me insane but I try to ignore it... however now, there are 2 tears in the fabric.. they are L shaped, (almost like a box knife caused it) and are only about an inch in length.. the fabric still meets together if you know what I mean (there isn't a hole, only a tear). - Q: It's a really nice sofa. It's an Ashley corduroy motivation sofa and it's has power recliners. The cat has attacked the cord and unplugged it once already, and he has tried to claw the sides and back of the sofa, but I shoo him away whenever I catch him. I have never had a husband, cat, or new sofa before in my life.
- Try different scratch posts. Certain cats love certain materials. Theres cardboard, sisal, carpet, and various others. If he doesnt seem to use one all that much, try another. Also, theres ones with catnip built in, or catnip sprays to attract them to the posts. You can use things like sticky paws, which is a sticky strip you put on the furniture or what have you [cats cant stand the sticky feeling on their paws]. You can try X mats, which are plastic x's with spike like nubs on them. And, if all else fails, you can try the method that i think is mean. Spray him with water when he does it. Some people like this method, i say its cruel. But, im giving you all your options, and letting you decide for yourself.

- Research the different types of leather tanning; this and the type of surface will make a difference in how well it ages. Another thing to keep in mind is the construction of the furniture; research that also so you know what items are important.
