Q: Is this really difficult to maintain? I have a 7-year old and we live in the tropics. What are the products that we need to use as protector?: I live in North Carolina, and in the Summer we have Tropical Weather.I wouldn't recommend any Leather, Vinyl, or Plastic because you stick to everything, even with A/C on all the time.Also mold and mildew grow really fast on leather. Q: My 1yr old cat occasionally urinates outside of the litter tray, but has not done so in about 2 months. I had a new sofa delivered this week and came home to find she had peed on it. After I cleaned it she peed on the opposite side. Why does she have to pee in the most annoying places?: your cat could have a bladder infection. they are dangerous if not taken care of and the animal could die.

Q: i am getting new furniture and really like there stuff but i dont know which one is comfortable considering the closest store is 3 hours away.. do you have one and if so which one and how are they as durability goes. i have a insane german shepard and wild one year old lol.: You must sit on a sofa to determine leg length, neck support, whether or not is has an foot rest, etc. Leather is very nice. What suits one for comfort is terrible for another. Since it's 3 h away, I'd buy something local and really sit and test for all family members. And, if there's a problem you call your local dealer. Q: I am looking for a new sofa. I need a burgundy floral, or wine color to match the rest of my room. Where can I find one? I have asked several furniture stores about custom material, however; all the samples are dull colors just like what is on the floor of the showrooms already. Either you pay an upholsterer to recover a sofa in whatever fabric you choose OR have a look online for stretch covers in florals. I know they exist. Thanks!!: Why not buy a used one and then some white slipcovers. White is going to get really dirty, really fast. Slipcovers are almost always washable.

Q: I moved to a new apartment and I need to get my own furniture so I went to Big Lots and found two pieces of furniture of exactly the same style but different colors. The sofa has the color of mocha, and the loveseat is chocolate brown. Is that a good combination? The living room's carpet is beige and the walls are white.: I think that sounds fine together. You need to add a pop of color to your brown and beige and white room, though. Paint if you can. Add accent pillows of any bright color you like: teal, orange, reds, etc. I like teals best with your colors.

Q: I just purchased a micro-fiber sofa, and the salesman claims it is stain resistant? I feel like I should protect it anyway with some kind of scotchguard. Does anyone have any experience with micro-fiber? Will scotchguard be a safe thing to do? Is it necessary?: It all depends on the type of stain ... I have three microfiber sofas and I treated two of them with Scotchguard and one (the first one I bought) I did not. Most spills or stains come up from the sofas with a bit of resolve and a gentle rub but the sofa I did not scotchguard does have one grease stain on it that I could not get to come up. I would say better safe than sorry and invest in a can of Scotchguard ... just remember to let it dry completely before using the couch again.

Q: I've had dark blue upholstered sofas and black dogs for years with no problems. The dogs shed, but it doesn't show up on the sofas. However I recently rescued an English Mastiff and she's got light hair, which shows up really bad against the dark colors.
