Q:I need a new sofas and sofa chairs for my living room. It's a very bright room with lots of outside lights. Carpet is very light, almost white but not quite. The walls are little bit darker than the carpet but very light. Ceiling is white. Q:A sticker was stuck to my microfiber/suede (? - not sure which type of fabric it is) sofa and left a sticky residue on it. How can I remove the stickiness?: The safest product to use is De-Solv-It. Spray it on a rag and then test it somewhere on the back of the sofa, which is probably microfiber. Let it dry and then use a light soap/water mix to clean it, followed by clear water. It will probably test out perfectly fine. Then do the same thing with a rag until all the stickies are gone, following with the soap/water mixture and then a good rinse. I use this product as a laundry stain remover and to take grease off carpeting. It's also great at removing marks from plastic wastebaskets and so many other things. I don't know how I existed before I found it. It's one of those wonderful orange products that is literally safe enough to drink. You can find it at Walmart or any full-line hardware store. Q:I was trying to get rid of my full size bed because Im moving into my apartment in April. But for some reason I can't get rid of it lol Anyway. I was thinking of puttingi t in my living room turning it into a sofa.... any ideas how I can decorate it to give it that sofa look?: A full size bed will be too wide to sit on. Your legs will stick out straight in front of you rather than bend like on a regular sofa, sell it. Then look on craigslist again and find a nice used sofa for your living room.

Q:ok I have one of those imitation micro fiber sofas, and I have a problem.. My hubby insist that it is ok for our 300 lb. English Mastiff to get up on the couch... it drived me insane but I try to ignore it... however now, there are 2 tears in the fabric.. they are L shaped, (almost like a box knife caused it) and are only about an inch in length.. the fabric still meets together if you know what I mean (there isn't a hole, only a tear). My husband won't listen and insists that it is not from the dog, but I do know better.... Anyhow my question is how do I try and repair this without it being too noticable... I know what needs to be done.. My hubby is a sweetheart for the most part, but this issue don't bother him....: Flex-able fabric glue may work, and booties on the dog paws or a nice throw blanket. You could always make some kind of cover for the couch, pillows.

Q:Well we bought a new sofa and i cant get my cat off it! And now, its covered with cat hair .I tried vacuming but its not off completely.So any suggestions ? And also no matter how many times i move her off the sofa she still climbs back,so any advice to keep her off the sofa would also be appreciated!: It basically attracts hair and lint to itself really really well. I cant recommend this enough, they are really cheap too! Also for less shedding, I would recommend getting your cat the furminator brush, its pretty pricey, but worth every penny...it minimized shedding for my cat by A LOT! It takes out huge amounts of loose hair that will otherwise get left on your couch. Good luck!
