Q: Will skateboarding on carpet ( or maybe anyhting) with just the skateboard deck ,( no wheels, trucks), improve the actual tricks on the real thing? Thanks.: No, it will not help you at all. I can triple kickflip on a trampoline with just the deck but rarely get a double kickflip on pavement with trucks and wheels. They have a completely different feel. I wouldn't recommend getting used to skating on carpet, cause then you will have to relearn the tricks on pavement that you learned on carpet cause they have to be done a little bit differently on pavement.

Q: What is a Sisal Rug?: as the first post said you can get sisal in a varitey of colors and styles.....I have some sisal carpet in my home and it looks great and wears like iron, it is expensive for the good quality sisal but very worth it.

Q: I had the rug from work about a year ago so its pretty old but every time i go to hoover its got a large amount of white powder under it! i have no idea what it is at first i had the gross idea that it was bits of skin but there is no way that much could accumilate in such a short timewhat is it and can i get rid of it: This rug has been abused on many occasions with so called cleaning/deodorizing powders. There are several of these products on the market. They are all a rip off, as they do not vacuum back out as the directions say. This rug will continue to bleed off these powders as long as you own it. Sorry, but the manufacturers of these products are practicing a scam on the general public, who are trying to save a buck or two by not having the carpet professionally cleaned when it becomes dirty.

Many products on the market are a rip off, and this foaming spray is one of them. The carpet needs to be hot water rinsed and extracted to come clean, and no, this does not hurt the carpet.

Thanks!: Rag Rugs are usually pretty durable, so take it to your local laundromat that has a large capacity washer (some are double loads and some even have quadruple load washers) and throw it in with some regular laundry detergent on cold. I would spin it as dry as you can in the machine and then take it home and let it air dry. It could shrink if you throw it in the dryer. It should wash up very well.

Q: My carpet is only 4 1/2 years old and in good shape with no big stains. My only complaint is that it's too light. If you plan on having your rug in the same position for a while, then it is worth applying some pressure to the rug. Move some furniture, bookcases, weights. You need to weigh down the whole rug, not just the corners. Put extra weights on the corners though. You could even turn the rug upside down and put the weights on it for a while. The idea is to erase the rug's memory of being rolled up. Another tip is to hang the rug over a clothes line in the sun for a while. This will flatten it out. Make sure the color and pattern side is not facing up to the sun or it might fade.
