As shown in Figure4,there are two elastic O-ring in the valve seat ring-ring A and ring B.Sealing ring A spring-loaded through the valve seat so that the sealing surface of sealing ring A tightly fit with ball surface to form an initial seal.When there is pressure in the system medium,the piston force
produced by the piston force produced by the piston effect of size difference makes elastic deformation of the ring A Ershi sealing surface and ball more closely fit the surface to form a re-sealing;meanwhile,due to ring A in the medium resulted in elastic deformation under pressure so that the sealing ring B is also closely fit the surface of ball for the formation of the second stage seal.When the system medium pressure increasing,it will have an enormous pressure in the valve seat ring A and ring B,so that the two seals have a greater elastic deformation,and then the metal valve seat ring surface and the ball surface sealing together to form a third level of metal to metal seal.

)The assisted valve seat sealing equipment
Based on the actual service condition,medium requirement,sealing requirement,etc.,the assisted valve sealing equipment will be considered to be necessary or not.The assisted valve sealing equipment is a one-way valve installed outside of valve body that can prevent medium leakage and can inject sealing grease into valve body by external force.When the assisted valve seat sealing equipment is required,valve seat ring shall be design and processed with injection grove and hole to connect the assisted valve seat sealing equipments.Such equipment can prevent the medium by the sealing of injection of rease.Refer to Figure5 for reference.

Multi-level structure of stem sealing 
Figure6 shows the stem multi-level sealing by adopting"O"ring,flexible graphite and grease injection;"O"ring achieves the first level stem sealing;Replaceable flexible graphite realizes the second level sealing by the compression of packing sleeve and packing flange;And the third evel sealing is realized by installing assisted sealing injection valve to the packing box,and by designing with the injection groove and hole to connect with the stem injection valve,which can inject grease.

)Fireproof structure of seat
As shown in figure7,there is composite fireproof ring,which are combined with graphite and stainless steel wire in the seat.Once the soft ring is burnt out in case of a fire,the fireproof ring and seat ring will form a piston structure through the spring to load the valve body.That will push and closely contact the metal seal surface of the seat ring to the body surface,So as to prevent a lot of medium from leaking from the burnt place of the seat ring,and prevent the fire from expending.

The seal gasket for bolt connecting valve body and valve bonnet,are used fireproof stainless steel wire and flexible graphite gaskets.Gasket compression load through the bolts and ultimately,ensure the valve body and valve cover between the metal to metal contact,so that the valve can with stand more high load,but also improve the fire safety of the valve.But for the full welded ball valve,the valve body and cover is welded structure,that fundamentally eliminate the possibillity of leakage of the valve housing.Even in the case of fire damage,there will be no leak.

A Schrader valve is a simple push valve used to keep pressure inside a container or system, while making it easy to add more pressure when required. The valve stems on your car's tires are Schrader valves. The PARTS to replace a valve are fairly cheap, but labor and materials to repair an AC system may run the bill up.
Q: Model 28 BS 12.5 HP engine intake valve sticks. Please advise.When under a full load like tall grass, it runs great, but when the load is not as heavy, the intake valve sticks open, spewing gas back through the carb and mis-firing.
Don't know anything about configuration of this model by number, but I can recommend you hit up your library for a copy of How to Repair Briggs Stratton Engines, by Paul Dempsey. I have 2nd edition, but I think they are currently on fourth edition. First thing I would do is pull the head and inspect the valve seats. Lap the valves if necessary. If the valve seats are good to go, then you have to look at the lifting mechanism. Does it have rocker arm, or straight push lifters? Could the cam shaft have been damaged (i.e., have you hit any stumps with it)?
Q: Im living in an a house previously own but abandonded , and im trying to get water, the thing is the pipe where the shut off valve is is dettached , and i dont know where to reattach it nor do i see the missing pipes to reassemble what does the main shut off valve attach to in my house?
You have the main water line outside that feeds everyone. Look for a man hole cover and remove it. You should see the turn off valve there. There may be a pipe unit that the county removed so the water could not be turned back on. Call the country and ask for the water to be turned back on. If you are talking about the line after it goes onto your property then it's just a large pipe that comes into your home somewhere. They normally put a on/off valve at that point that allows you to shut the water off inside the home. If the pipe inside the house is detached from that valve then someone most likely cut it and took out a section. You would have to turn the water out at the manhole so you can open that valve and drain the water out of it. Then using a torch/solder/pipe sleeves, new pipe etc solder the replacement piece in place. Remember water in a pipe will not allow the pipe to reach soldering temp without creating steam, which can burn you. Hope that helps....
Q: how do i adjust the valve lash my book sys to torque to 136 in lbs but my wrench is only in ft lbs
valve lash is a small gap between the rocker arm and the valve stem as the engine heats up the gap gets tighter due to expansion of valve train parts. To set the lash correctly find the gap that is recommended and use a feeler gauge to set. loosen the jam nut that holds the adjustable screw and set the screw to point where the guage has a slight drag on it. all this is done at the rocker arm and takes practice to get the feel of it. This must be done while the valves ARE CLOSED and the engine rotated to the correct position for that cylinder. Once the gap is set using the feeler guage, hold the adjustable screw still and tighten the jamb nut to the in./lbs. speced. In./lbs are a smaller value than ft/lbs. Find a torque wrench that has the smaller increments. If your not sure, find someone who HAS done this before and get them to assist you. Again, it must be done with the engine rotated to the correct spot. Usually around TDC for that cylinder being adjusted. Once set, test again with the feeler guage and see if the lash changed during the tightening of the jamb nut. If so, set again till lash has a slight drag. This means that you can slide the feeler guage in the gap and its not to loose nor to tight
Q: I have replaced the rubber washer in the valve and when I pull up on the float arm everything seems to stop then shortly thereafter air bubbles start coming out of the bottom of the fill tube. How could air be getting thru the valve without water which would cause the shutoff valve to tighten?

Q: This is my first tranny install and there is one thing that i really think i f'd up on. I'v been installing a junk yard 700r4 and transfer case into this beater 1990 k1500. Everything is in i'm just waiting on a new throttle valve cable (detent cable) to put it. But me, being my first tranny install, thought that the piece inside of the transmission that the detent cable attatches too.....came out. which i later found out that it doesn't, and that the TV cable just connects to it. I yanked on it pretty good with some pliers, and it never came out, and it still moves up and down. My question is could i have done some serious damage to that peice and the throttle valve itself???? let me know what u think.... thanks!
The only thing i can think you could have done i bent the peice that comes out of the trans. If the throttle valve still returns like a spring when you pull it with your fingers and you can still hook the tv cable to it it should be fine. unhook the tv cable at the carb or throttle body to hook it to the valve then hook it back to the carb or throttle body.
Q: I want to wash it but don't know what to oil the valves with because I was told not to use mellophone/trumpet valve oil so would the sewing machine oil be okay to use with out damaging me Horn?I not any other safe substitutions?

Q: I just bought my first bike in 20 years, and as a result have had to pump up a bike tire for the first time in 20 years. I was dazzled to discover a type of tire valve that I'd never known about. The Presta.So of course, I need a pump with a special adapter, I didn't know to unscrew that nut at first so I accomplished a whole lot of nothing for awhile, and once I did open the nut, the pump kept slipping off the tire once I got anywhere near the tire' recomended PSI until I awkwardly held it in place while operating my pump with one hand, which of course meant less leverage and so while I got above the min recommended PSI, I couldn't get anywhere near the upper end of the spectrum. Why would anyone use these ridiculous contraptions? The fact that they are used means there must be some rationale. A brief internet search seems to find more forum posts with people saying the alternative (Schraeder) valves are more reliable and don't leak as much either.Educate me!

Q: I have mitral valve prolapse. Just recently Ive been getting chest pains more often * few times a day* and the panic and anxiety have gotten worse. I had a pain last night that lasted about 10 minutes and it was very uncomfortable.I know mitral valve prolapse is a condition that usually not a threat. But can it get worse over time with some people?My doctor already knows I have it but should I go back to have more tests done?Im kinda scared because my symptoms are getting to be more than what they were.Any advice?
Mitral valve prolapse associated with severe mitral regurgitation can be treated with repair or surgical replacement of the mitral valve. Repair of the mitral valve is always preferable to replacement and should be performed by surgeons that are skilled in the procedure. Current ACC/AHA guidelines suggest that early repair of mitral valve, performed in centers of surgical excellence, should be considered even in patients without symptoms of heart failure. Symptomatic patients, those with evidence of diminished left ventricular function or left ventricular dilatation need urgent attention.
