FAQ

Q: How can I get trained on CNBM products?

A: Yes, we provide training courses in our factory (products, general and specific pump technology, hydraulics, and practical applications). Please consult your sales manager or get in touch with our headquarters for more information.

Q: Are your pumps cheaper than those of your competitors?

A: CNBM aims to give its customers the highest standards of quality and service and delivery times, all at a reasonable price.

Q: Do you have self-priming pumps?

A: Yes, our product portfolio also includes two ranges of self-priming pumps: self-priming electric pumps and self-priming side channel pumps.

Q: Is it really necessary to fit a bleed valve for the boxes?

A: It is always best to have a bleed valve as the gas produced by the fermenting sewage is potentially hazardous.

Q: If I increase the power of the motor, must I also increase the power of the inverter?

A: You must select the size of converter that allows maximum absorption of the electric motor.

Q: Do you have pumps with grinders?

A: Yes, the WQ models.

Q: It is known that it takes an hour to pump water, and also to know the head. How does the pump power need to be calculated? What's the formula?
Power P (kw) =9.81*Q (second cubic meter) *H (head, unit m) / efficiency; The efficiency can be found on the pump nameplate or sample. This is the rated power, if the head down, the flow increases, the power will increase, so the actual motor power is often much larger than this calculation.Generally buy pumps are equipped with motors, manufacturers can refer to the same model or similar models of motor power.
Q: i replace all the seals on the water pump reinstalled it and the same thing happened... it leaks out the bottom some where and run down the water pump and down the hot side radiator hose... any ideas?
look up the torque spec's in either a hayne's/chilton's manual, or online to see if you have it tightened correctly, and using some high-temp RTV on both sides of the gasket before you install it should help. most auto part stores have torque wrenches to rent for a day. Also, there may be a certain order you have to tighten the bolts down.
Q: my marine engine doesnt pump water can you tell me some faults can be thanks vic
There are 2 water pumps. One in the stern drive, or mounted on the engine which takes the water your in to cool the engine. The other is a conventional circulating water pump, which is important in fresh water cooled engines . Most often it's the impeller failure.
Q: i have a 2000 chevy malibu (i know it sucks) i fixed the intake manifold gaskets (upper and lower) thermostat and its still leaking and sometimes overheating. my next thought is its the water pump. there's no crack in the radiator or hoses is there anything else that can cause it to overheat besides these. what about vacuum leakage? o2 sensors?
some other possible causes of overheat: lean mixture inadequate oiling poor circululation due to restriction in water lines
Q: I have a leak coming from the water pump that flows down on the side of the AC compressor before landing on the ground. I cannot verify exactly where the leak is coming from on the pump, but I am sure it is the pump leaking because it also sounds bad like rattling. My question is do I have to remove any other components, such as the AC compressor to be able to remove the water pump. I would be great full for any suggestions.Regards,Steph
First you have to mention which E320 you have. It could be either a gasoline or diesel model and the E320 model designation has had the M104 I6, M112 V6, M613 I6 diesel, and M642 V6 diesel under the hood. The water pump is not located in the same place on all engines.
Q: My car randomly decided to dump fluids the other day. Now, the engine overheats after 5 minutes of driving it and the check engine light comes on. I put more coolant in it and noticed it began to drip underneath the car. I'm hoping it's a leak but being my car is 10 years old and I've never replaced either the water pump or the head gasket I figure it's about due time unfortunately. About how much would this cost me to have done at the garage?
Rather than guess at what is wrong you should have it tested and confirm what is wrong, then worry about how much it will cost. The two things you worry about are only part of what the problem could be by your description. Could be a hose, clamp, radiator, thermostat, cap, gasket, pipe.....
Q: can bad water pump make car overheat?
The water pump is what moves the coolant through the engine so if it is bad the coolant doesn't get to where it needs to go causing overheating. A bad thermostat will cause the same thing.
Q: A tank is full of water. Find the work W required to pump the water out of the spout. (Use 9.8 for g and 3.14 for pi . Round your answer to three significant digits.)The tank is a spherical shape has a radius r= 6m and a spout height of h=2m.I really dont know how to start this problem correctly. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks!
The pump will not have to work until the water drains by gravity to the level of the spout. Then, Work = Weight of water * Height of lift Find the distance, d, of the center of mass for the remaining water in the bottom 2 m of the sphere. The height of lift will then be 2m - d. The hardest part is finding the distance d to the center of mass. I don't remember how to do that.
Q: Earlier today I was driving and my car shut off at a stop sign. I got it to start again and it shut off at the next stop sign, so after a few minutes I got it to start again and immediately pulled over as there was a small amount of smoke coming from under my hood. The temp gauge didn't say it was overheating, but I think it mightve been stuck, because that had to be what happened. After sitting there for a while it started and stayed that way for a while, I let the engine run. I drove it to the gas station and put some coolant directly in the radiator and the resevoir, and almost all of it leaked right out. I started to drive it home and had to pull over about 6 times to let it cool down because it kept overheating( temp gauge showed it this time). I think its the water pump that is leaking, but I know very little about cars, and was wondering if it could be anything else? Also, the heater wasn't working in the car today at all.

Q: We still have water, but it keeps constantly running, and won't stop. The pump itself got warm/hot, and we're afraid that it's going to get ruined or blow up or something. We turned it off for about 30 minutes, then back on to bottle up some water. It's the middle of a snowstorm, and a horrible time for a water pump to stop working, help please!! Any suggestions and fixes, please let me know. Thanks!!! :)
You may have a broken water line. The lose of water pressure, even from a small leak, would keep the pump running. A partially frozen intake line would slow the pump down. The impeller inside the pump may be bad and not able to bring the pressure up. You can keep turning the pump off and on as needed until you find the problem. Make sure the pipes are warm to keep them from freezing.
