- Q: There's a chair my grandma got at a garage sale, so its always been in really bad shape, but my dads been attached to it ever since she passed. The springs are starting to cut through the bottom of the chair and the filler (the stuff that gives the chair cushion) is beginning to go with it. I'd really like to reupholster the chair and give it new life. The thing is, I've never done any reupholstering at all. Would this be possible or would I need someone to work on it for me? - This okorder /t... As you'll see from the photo, you can use a zafu between your back and the seatback, to keep your spine in correct alignment. However you don't need to purchase a zafu for this purpose - any firm pillow or even a folded towel can serve this purpose. The zafu/pillow/towel/etc. only function to keep you from slumping into the back of the chair. You might try several different chairs with different seats and leg heights.
- Q: I saw on the news this morning that the Majestic High Chairs were recalled. Well the one that I have is the Jungle Fun one. On the box right above where it says Jungle Fun it does say Majestic. Does anyone know if this would mean that it is a part of the recall? I went to the website about the recall and it didn't say. If it is a part of it, would I take it back to Babies R Us? I got it as a shower gift and I don't have a gift receipt or anything. It is still in the box, I know that the person who got it for me purchased it at Babies R US because it was marked off of my registry there. Thanks a bunch!!

- Both my kids have rocking chairs in their rooms. I wouldn't classify it as critical but they are nice to have if you have the room. I didn't use them a lot when my kids were newborn, mainly because I preferred nursing on the couch or in bed. But my son is now almost 4 and still has a rocking chair in his room, for seating. If you get a simple wooden one, it could always be used in another room later on. EDIT TO ADD: My son's rocker was given to us by my mother in law, my daughter's was bought for us by my mom at Babies R Us for $110.

- Try buying a chair cushion. The cushion would make the chair more comfortable. Also it might increase the height of the chair based on the thickness of the cushion. Chair cushions don't cost much if you don't get the really fancy ones. But don't buy one if the chair is really small, because it won't help much. If the chair is too small to heighten with a chair cushion, take the chair to a wood shop or to a place like that. Tell them the details of the chair's base and and legs. Then if should be fixed.
