I needs to deside for one and i really want to chose the best one.thanks: I have a great one by Evenflo. I suggest getting one that folds up (somewhat). Its helpful to be able to set it aside out of the way if you need to. Mine has a tray that you can put on and take off with only one hand. The seat cover is nice, and soft, but totally washable, both by hand and washing machine. It doesn't stain at all! I got it from Walmart for my baby shower a couple of years ago. I'm sure you can look on their website and find a similar one.

Q: These are from Germany. They are like a Spongy Foam material but the previous owners cats tore into them so they have these marks across them. It reminds me of when you take your nail and run it over a Styrofoam cup. I love the shape and modernness but I need a color change (4 dark blue, 2 yellow)! I have priced new chairs and its just not doable for what I desire. I have No clue what would be under the sponge as I would have to basically gut one and then Im lost on how to fix the mess I made! Q: Got a great deal on this modern molded fiberglass chair with a metal base. It's definitely vintage. I just want to know how to tell if it's an original Knoll or if it's a knockoff. Any information would be helpful. Thanks!: If it is a Knoll chair it should have a tag or label on the bottom. If it does not have a label, it is probably a knock off, but still a really good looking chair! You could always try to contact your nearest Knoll Furniture dealer or representative in the area, and speak to them about how to authenticate it and find out when it was made.

Q: My Aunty and Uncle were an oddball couple... always going to fancy dress parties in the most outrageous costumes... but they had an old leather chair.. but now that I know what it is... and how best to use it... Q: I am needing to reupholster my dining chairs, and I found some fabric that I really love. It is woven cotton (quilting weight). Can it be used for the dining chairs if I use a protective treatment on it to protect it?: Quilting fabric is not meant to use for upholstery purposes as it will not resist the constant wear and will stain easily, shortening it's life span quite a bit. However, if you really love the fabric, you most certainly can use a heavier gauge clear plastic vinyl over the quilting fabric for a long life and wipe clean feature. I used vinyl on my kitchen chairs and quite frankly, it lasted so long that I actually tired of the fabric and it was in like new condition when I redecorated. Even if you change your mind and use upholstery fabric, you really do not need much fabric. Home Decorating fabric is 54 wide. You will need 2/3 of a yard/24 of fabric for every two chairs. A 54w , 24l piece of fabric cut in half will net you two 27x 24 chair tops. So, you will only need 1 1/3 yards per every four chairs, believe it or not. So, it is affordable. If you get on the JoAnn Fabric mailing list or e-mail list, you get a 40% off coupon you can use in store or on line.
