- Q: what is a good ergonomic office/gaming chair?I am looking, but so much BS, what do you use and how do you like it, or what would you recommend.
- I okorder / I am not sure how a gaming chair relates to an office chair, though. I know they also offer gaming chairs, but that is totally different, at least from what I have seen. Either way, buying a chair online can be hard. Sadly, the more you spend for ergonomics, the more you usually get in return. I can vouch for All Seating and Dauphin chairs, as well as Neutral Posture, but sometimes some of the less expensive chairs also have great ergonomic value. Just stay away from new websites, and large chain office stores, as they often call any China chair an ergonomic chair. Mesh is nice as well.

- Well, I think the price is OK, you may just want to save up for it, but I'll still try to help: This style of chair is called a papasan chair, I know that Pier One sells them but they're more expensive than the PBTeen model. Probably the only way to get a papasan chair cheaply is to get a used/second hand one. If you want to get one used, you could try Craigslist for your area. I don't know how old you are, so if you are young *ASK PERMISSION FROM YOUR PARENTS* to look at Craigslist online (there can be bad people online there), and if you ever buy anything online through Craigslist *MAKE SURE* someone goes with you if you go to pick it up. If you get a Pier One or used chair, you could make a slipcover for the cushion (in a fabric like the Dottie chair), but in all honesty I would save your time and trouble and buy the PBTeen one. - Q: well heres the story. My boyfriend and i are moving into an apartment together soon and his grandfather decided he was going to make us some chairs for our balcony. And though i am extremely greatful that he took the time to make them for us and that it was very nice of him, the chairs are bad. they are pretty much 2 pieces of wood and 4 sticks for legs. We cant tell him we dont want them even though we appreciate it because hes the type that gets really mad and offended if you dont accept a gift (and i guess i would be too) So what i am asking is...after a few weeks what can we tell him happened to where we cant keep them anymore? and like i said ia am greatfule that he made them but im afraid ill have to get a tetanis shot before i sit on them. what should we say?
- They're for your balcony, you don't have to look at them 'round the clock. I think putting some cushions on them and a coordinating flower pot or two would look nice on your balcony. You should appreciate them for the time and effort Grandpa put into them. I have a three-legged table that my Grandpa made a long time ago. It wouldn't be my first choice but it's my only heirloom from him.

- It is unlikely that the chair collapsed solely based on your weight. Chairs are designed to take compressive forces. They are not designed to be tilted where compressive forces would favour a single leg of the chair. My suspicion is that this chair was subjected to this improper usage either while you were using it or before you were using it. In any case, the chair would have to have been damaged or improperly used in order for it to collapse. The other possibility is that your weight exceeded the maximum allowable load rating of the chair.
