- Yes. I will try to explain in this reply. A male stands next to the wall far enough to place a chair between himself and the wall. Place a chair between the male and the wall. Have the male bend over and place his head against the wall with his back being almost straight. Then the male should try to pickup the chair and standup at the same time. 99% of the men can not do it since their center of gravity is in their upper body. So no matter how strong they are it should not matter. Have a female do the same steps as listed above. She should be able to do it pretty easily since her center of gravity is typically in the lower half of the body. We had to do this in high school as a test.

- Try cleaning the chair again I would use carpet cleaner. Put a fan on the chair to see if it dries. I think maybe the water stain has not dried completely. If that does not work have it clean professionally they may have something they can get the stain out of the fabric.
- Q:ok so i was really pissed this morning at my parents and i was like throwing things around, slamming doors, etc.. and when i got up from sitting at a kitchen chair i kind of slammed it on the ground too hard and one of the legs broke off.. - She likely will figure out pretty quickly you switched chairs and that will only add to the heat. Especially if the chairs are not the same make. Your best bet is to say you got up and accidently knocked the chair over and it broke. Being up front is going to suck but its the best way. Pull the bait and switch with the chairs and it will come back on you in a MUCH bigger way....

- Q:I have a rocking chair and one of the (spreaders maybe) dowels that runs across the two rockers under the seat came out. It's not broken but I can't figure out how it came out or how to put it back in unless I take the whole thing apart. (Don't really want to do that) Thank you!
- More than likely came out when someone was sitting in it and rocking, causing the sides to flex out some, letting the cross support fall out. This type of thing happens a lot in rocking chairs. Get a friend to pull the legs apart and slip back into place. Be ready to fix or it will happen again. You need something to help tighten up the hole it goes in. String works pretty good, paper matches or toothpicks work good too. A little shot of carpenters glue will help put it back together together. After its all back together, find something to tie the legs together, tightly. Then allow the glue to dry. Best of luck

There are even patterns to sew your own in fabric stores. Try looking for both. Also, if you have basic sewing and stapling tools, you can do upholstery on them yourself.
- Q:Office Chairs: I am looking good chair that is comfortable to sit in, will not hurt my back, easy to roll across my desk area. I have sat in the Herman Miller chair and really like them..don't think my boss will go for the $800+ price tag on it though. My desk is kind of low so my arm rest right now kind of get in the way.
