- Q: Office Chairs: I am looking good chair that is comfortable to sit in, will not hurt my back, easy to roll across my desk area. I have sat in the Herman Miller chair and really like them..don't think my boss will go for the $800+ price tag on it though. My desk is kind of low so my arm rest right now kind of get in the way. - Are you talking about ... Cyclohexane ? There is the more stable Chair, and less stable, Boat configuration. You need to see a diagram; there is one on the website The 6 vertexed ring does not conform to the shape of a perfect hexagon. The conformation of a flat 2D planar hexagon has considerable angle strain because its bonds are not 109.5 degrees; the torsional strain would also be considerable due to all eclipsed bonds. Therefore, to reduce torsional strain, cyclohexane adopts a three-dimensional structure known as the chair conformation. The new conformation puts the carbons at an angle of 109.5°. Half of the hydrogens are in the plane of the ring (equatorial) while the other half are perpendicular to the plane (axial). This conformation allows for the most stable structure of cyclohexane. Another conformation of cyclohexane exists, known as boat conformation, but it interconverts to the slightly more stable chair formation.
- Q: I have this executive office chair which, through an unfortunate turn of events, one of the legs on the base split off and makes it extremely difficult to sit in.I've tried repairing it with simple things like wire, rope, and JB-Weld, but the poor leg always seems to come off no matter what I try.I've looked into buying a new base, but after looking at the prices it seems it would be a whole lot cheaper just to buy a new chair.It just seems a waste to throw out a perfectly good chair just because one of the legs broke off, though. - Unbolted - you and the chair experience equal but opposite force and you move slowly and the chair (less mass) quickly. If the chair is bolted down it may be considered to be part of the shuttle - so you are pushing on the shuttle - wich receives force and accelerates as before until you strike the wall of the shuttle and the acceleration is reversed

- i dun think there is a link between high chair and hunger. i use a high chair to 1. keep my child seated when feeding, dun want to chase him all around; 2. he can join us during mealtime at the dinning table. my sons went thru a stage when they will only eat if they have a toy to play with. it was a bad habit. is it possible that your baby isn't hungry? try to cut out all snacks 1hr before mealtime. the other area of concern is the blood in stool. you should really bring him to see a doc about this. no way should a multivit syrup causes blood in stool.
