- Q: What exactly is the difference between loose powder and pressed powder? And people say that it's better to use a 'loose powder' for a tinted moisturizer, why? Thanks!
- Loose powder is basically powder that comes in a jar, that you can shake out onto a brush. Pressed powder is powder that is in a compact, usually they come with a mirror and a little powder puff to apply it. You can use either one, it really doesn`t matter. It`s a personal preference. I like pressed powder myself because it`s easier to use and you don`t have to worry about powder flying all over the place, LOL! If you get the pressed powder, go with: Maybelline Dream Matte powder because it makes the skin look airbrushed and flawless. Hands down, BEST pressed powder in the drugstore. If you get Mineral Loose Powder, go with Physcians Formula Mineral Wear Talc Free Powder because it`s great for sensitive skin and comes with a little brush. Hope I helped!!

- Q: I want to matte my face but don't want a heavy makeup look at all, and also don't want a product that will clog pores. Does anyone have any recommendations for powder that will make my face matte all day but not look noticeable? Also, which is better, loose or pressed?
- it doesnt really matter presed is much easier and more compact.
- Q: i want the information about the fat reducing press.
- This is a really obscure question, and I'm not at all certain that I've found the correct answer to it. The meaning of the patriotic fat reducing press of 1790 was ... I think ... the process during the French Revolution in which the monarchy was overthrown and the King (plus his family and chief advisers) was imprisoned. The King was referred to as a fat hog, because he grew fat off the labors of his subjects. His imprisonment was the patriotic fat reducing press, because it prevented him from growing 'fat' in that way any longer. My explanation for this answer lies in the following excerpt from an article by Katharine Macdonogh in History Today magazine, Vol. 46, August 1996. The widespread use of animal metaphor during the French Revolution provides insight into the mentality of a predominantly rural population living in a pre-industrial age. Hebert and his sort released metaphorically the wild beasts from the famous Versailles menagerie and caged the monarchs in their place. Marie Antoinette is ever the 'archtigress', or the 'Austrian she-wolf', and her children are 'the little wolves'; Louis XVI is most frequently likened to a pig -- Clery recorded seeing graffiti on the wall of the Temple promising 'we shall find a way of reducing the great hog's fat'.
- Q: Whats the difference between the two? Is bench press better than doing push ups?
- It depends how much weight is involved
- Q: I have to write and essay with multiple quotes from legitimate book sources on the effect of the Printing Press on the Enlightenment. I am saying that without the press, the Enlightenment would not have happened. Though I can use only one credible internet source, I can cite other web pages as long as the content of my quote can be found in a book somewhere. A little help finding these sources? I've used Francis Bacon's Novum Organum, but other than that, I'm totally lost. And any points I could write on would be great!
- The printing press helped with the development of the English language. With the press, more texts were available to the public. With more texts available, literacy increased among the masses. Once literacy takes a foothold, you see advances across the board. I would do a search using key phrases with The History of the English Language. Once you have some titles to work with, you should check out the Project Gutenberg website; it has older texts available on-line for free. Once there, you can obtain quotes and information to cite. I hope this was a little helpful.
- Q: Ok I was at a party last night and two psychos crashed in punching my friends and then chasing me into the living room. They cornered me and i was terrified so I picked up a small coffee table to use as a weapon but i was too scared to hit them. One bloke punched me and took the table off me (smashing me over the head with it twice) Luckily I took it well and managed to get away to get help..The guy lives in my area and im quite scared about pressing charges because he might want revenge. Should I do it? please help
- Press charges. Teach those losers a lesson.
- Q: I have never use the bench to do chest press and want to but I am scare to do so, any suggestions?
- you dont deserve to use it if you are scared of it. go back to west hollywood.
- Q: I've decided to have a go at making cider this year as we've had a bumper crop of apples from our tree! What sort of press do I need and how big? Thanks!
- Alternatively you could opt for the fruit press version that doesn't include an apple grinder but is still sturdy enough for apples. With that you would just have to crush the apples manually. A single-tub press would be perfectly adequate and produce a fair amount of juice for personal use! Good luck!
- Q: Is it possible for a family to press charges on a single child out of a group just for being suspected (by mere rumors) of vandalizing their house before?
- in basic terms seeing the motor vehicle won't be sufficient, You or somebody else has to might desire to definitely see her whilst she did it. in case you filed a checklist, call the officer who took the checklist and supply him the names, addresses and contact numbers of persons who observed the progression.
