End Suction Centrifugal Pump

1.Structure of End Suction Centrifugal Pump Description

End Suction Centrifugal Pump complies fully to the European Standard BS EN733 / DIN24255 of performance and dimensions. They are used for pumping clean water or liquids similar to water, achieving wide application on plants, mines, city water supplies, air-conditioning coolers, firefighting system and irrigation. Pumps of the same model have different performance levels basing on different diameter after impeller trimming. Overall the whole series, there are only four sizes of shaft and five of bearing housing. As long as their bearing housings are of the same size, different pumps can interchange chief parts such as shaft, shaft sleeve, shaft seal, impeller nut, etc.

End Suction Centrifugal Pump is also very easy to be installed and maintained. Back pull-out design, driven through flexible coupling, so that pump casing and motor can remain in position while other spare parts are removed.

Q: There is a pump, the rated power is 1200W, but only more than 600 W measured! What's the matter, please?I was not measuring no-load, pumping water in the pool, this work environment should be sufficient to pump full load? Also, is the rated power should not change?Thank you
Not equal to.1. Calculate the shaft power of centrifugal pump:Pa = HQ P /102 KWType H - pump rated lift, m;Q - rated flow of the pump, m3/s;P -- medium density, /m3 kg;Efficiency -- pump rated conditions (ETA = ETA ETA ETA m h V, m -- h -- mechanical efficiency, hydraulic efficiency,ETA V - volume efficiency);Pa - shaft power under rated working condition of pump, KW.2, determine the motor powerP=KPa/.Among them, P--- motors are equipped with powerShaft power under rated condition of Pa-- pumpETA - pump drive efficiency, general pump is using direct drive 1.K-- original motive power margin coefficient (shaft power less than 15KW, 1.25; 15 Pa > 55KW, 55KW > 1.15;, 1.1)
Q: The truck has 89k on it and i'm having the timing belt done this week; would it be wise to get the pump changed since it's in the same area, even though it's not leaking; for preventitive maintenance purposes, or is there life left in the pump? I don't want to take it back soon after if the pump does go out
as a mechanic, I always OFFER the customer the option. The water pump can last a long time however, as you've probably been told, it is driven off the timing belt. Therefore, if, say six months from now the pump developes a leak, its like doing the whole job over. Now, the tech won't know for sure there isn't a small weepage at the pump seal until the parts are exposed. There is a vent hole or weep hole as some call it and it will get crusty stuff on it or coolant traces from it if the seal is beginning to leak. I have personally seen a few that have gone bad by the 90K service. You'd have to be awfully optimistic to think it's gonna last another 90K. Lastly though, the part going on should be a new pump, not a rebuilt. Quality is important. The only other item you have to look forward to failing, if it hasnt already is the starter contacts. A good shop familiar with this issue will replace the two contacts in the starter instead of gouging you for a reman unit. Hope that helps. Make sure they use the correct coolant formula for your vehicle. PS: those are awsome engines. a HUGE improvement over the 3.0 litre motor.
Q: In 2005, the water pump, export pressure in recent years decreased year by year, the running current is increasing, there are 4 pumps are like this. Professional personnel advice please!
Export pressure reduction generally 2 reasons: 1, blade wear, 2. mechanical seal leakageThe increase of electric current should be caused by severe wear of the friction pairs of mechanical seals, resulting in increased resistanceIt is suggested that mechanical seals and blades be changed.
Q: The water pump in my 2001 PT Cruiser needs to be replaced and I'm wondering how much I'm looking at. I know it would vary and I know it's supposed to be labor-intensive but I thought I'd ask on here before I call my mechanic. We are trying to figure out if we should just go ahead and look at getting a new car. Thanks for any help!
They vary in price but at the right auto parts counter you might find a brand new or rebuilt water pump for about 75 bucks or so but no more then about 160 bucks. The labour on those takes a few hrs anywhere from 4 to 6 hrs or less all depends on the tools and the mechanic. Check around for the part and the labour costs and sometimes it's better when it's a job like this that will cost at least a good 275-400 in labour costs plus taxes to have the shop supply or sell you the part bec then the shop truly should warranty the part via their part supplier and warranty their own labour work too. Also some shops here in Canada charge from 69 to 89 an hr or higher but there are also some shops that will offer a flat rate for work done by them too.So if you have a shop wanting 80 an hr and to charge for 6 hrs or more they could end up charging you well over 600 bucks just for the labour alone. Hope that helps and best of luck.By the way if you do end up deciding to fix that vehicle there could be some shops in the local smaller towns that might offer you the lower rates due to them being family operated or owned etc and I'd try to find a shop that has done lots of that same vehicle make work.
Q: I am looking for foot peddals and one of those pumps that you can use to pump excess water out of the cockpit..... any Ideas where to look for the cheapest of both...I checked Dunhams and *****.
you might check mountain sports in arlington, texas they are good t
Q: Why should the pump fill the air before running? What's the reason why the water doesn't go up?
First of all, why should exhaust air, pump suction principle is the rotation of the impeller, pump water inside the throw out, and then let the inlet pipe into a vacuum. Then, under the influence of atmospheric pressure, the water pressure is pumped into the pump. Therefore, if the water is not filled, the sealing of the pump is impossible to pump the air inside the evacuation of high vacuum. In other words, do not fill the water, you can not smoke water. You can hear the noise in the pump when the water bubbles under the bottom vacuumThe water doesn't go up because it doesn't have enough vacuum! The reason 1 is because there is no water filling,2, because your pump and water vertical height higher than the pump itself suction stroke.3., the pipeline resistance is too large (including the pipe diameter is too small, elbow and so on)
Q: 22KW pump motor direct start circuit breaker and contactor size? Concrete calculation method
It's better not to start directly. It's a great test for your motor and contactor. Do a star three start, conditional on doing a star three plus autotransformer start, reducing the starting current. Reduce future maintenance costs. Since do not think about every day to do pump repair.
Q: In the design specifications, for example, the water pump requirement is two. What does that mean? Can 3 pumps be opened at once?
May not。Design is in accordance with the "two prepared" design, opened two units, has been able to meet the water supply requirements. And the electrical control parts are in accordance with the opening of two units, has been unable to meet the opening of 3 power distribution needs. The standby pump is only replaced when the running pump is out of order or needs downtime to maintain the water supply.
Q: My well water pump runs constantly. The manual says it should kick off at 50 psi, it only gets to 48 (moves to 45 rather quickly, slow to 48). Water isn't an issue. Turned off all water to house, and still gets to 48, so I believe I can exclude leak somewhere in the house. One place I called said it could be a bit of grit in the jet pump when I called. This seems like it could cost big bucks. Could I suggest for the service man to check anything else?
yes, call a service man to check and estimate repair cost.
Q: Replaced the water pump in my 89 f150 and now I have a pretty steady leak coming out. I don't know where the leak is coming from, but its running down the lower hose and dripping off it. I've replaced the lower hose and water pump, what could be causing this?
Forgot the water pump gasket or sealant. Didn't torque the bolts. Didn't clean off the old gasket good enough. Left a piece of debris on the sealing surface. Didn't get the hose all the way on the water pump, didn't tighten the clamp enough. Check the simple things first. It's got to be one of those since the pump is new. Although not all new things work!! Sometimes you get a bad one especially if rebuilt.
